Had a fantastic experience with salesman Kyle Johnson. Answered all my questions in a timely manner and kept me updated on the status of my vehicle as far as production and arrives times. Called me the day they received it off the truck to let me know it had arrived. Wasn't pushy with trying to add extra services. This is the best car buying experience I have ever had.

I have one complaint. We only received one remote car key. I don’t feel it’s fair we should have to purchase a second key at the cost of $100 plus. Since the car can’t be driven without the remote key, a second remote key should have been provided. We turned in two keys with the car we traded. I’m not happy with this!As far and all other sales dealings, everything went well. Noah did a great job trying to satisfy our requests and needs. Teresa was outstanding with her explanations in completing our financing. She even came to our home, after hours, to pickup the down payment check because we forgot to bring our checkbook. Who could ask for more than that?I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Shields Auto Group to anyone.

Bought my 2020 Corolla march 25th. Kori picked it up from the Paxton location and sold it to me last minute. I was informed by Kori that all of the cars require a point inspection and receive it through them. After looking over my car at home there was a crack in the back left tire and a curbed tire on the front right. I then scheduled an inspection after only driving it 2000 miles. They could not perform my tire rotation bc the tires were all cracked on the inside. The tires on my car should have been in good condition legally but that was not the case. My mechanic informed me all tires need to be replaced I've had the car 3 months. Shields in Paxton purposely put those tires on that way or they didn't inspect it at all. They would have not been overlooked. To hear that all 4 tires need replaced and I'm at risk for a blowout is not okay. It's absolutely devastating. I have not received a call back after asking about the inspection. I used to recommended them to everybody until they did me dirty. If someone would have reached out to me it would be different but I'm clearly being ignored. Inspect your car elsewhere before purchasing get a service record and take time to look it over before you buy. Lesson learned. I will add photos when my mechanic changes my tires. If it happened to me it can happen to you so something needs to be taken care of for future customers.

I could not be happier with the overall experience. From the time I ordered the truck, until the day I picked it up, everything went very smoothly and communication was very good. My wife was in the middle of recovering from a major surgery when the truck came in, and everyone was very accommodating with when we were finally able to make it in to take delivery, and even with a ride back to the dealership after I took my wife back home since she couldn't drive. Thanks to Rick, Terry, Teresa, Mark and Marcy(Hopefully that's spelled right). Keith in parts was also very helpful in making sure I ordered the correct accessories for the truck as well. I should also add I have been very happy with the service department at Shields over the years as well. Dale is always very helpful and Dwayne gets the issue fixed correctly the first time every time.

Mixed reviews from today's visit. I saw David and he was wonderful with showing me ford's line up of cars and trucks. The test drive was awesome on the cars I drove except for the part of Making the Deal happen. I asked for a certain number or budget to be at and for a used truck or car they wanted to charge 600 for a Ford 2019 edge. I said that was too expensive. Then the manager came over to talk about the deal... I felt a bit low balled on my car value...needless to say I left not upset with David and he was great. I went to Danville Same day and got a better value for a used Ford edge with less miles and on top it was fully loaded with features. So if u want a great deal go to Danville and see Jeremy. He will hook u up.... FYI the red edge is fully loaded....just saying

Had a great experience with Rick Shields of Rantoul. They personally made sure I had all the gadgets set up before I left and the truck was spotless. They were quick. They offer a lifetime power train warranty that adds a lot of value to their deals!

I found what I was wanting looking for and more. I think, I surprised Kyle J. When I ask, to see the exact amount down to the penny, with plates n title for the cashier's check. When I walked in the door. The website had posted The Flex, with a discount. The post made the decision very easy. Kyle, Terry, Mr Shields, were were all very informative, friendly, and flexible, since we had to wait for check from bank late Friday, n held it from Thursday, til Saturday morning.The extended warranty for lifetime, they offer is great, a little expensive, but in the long run worth it. If you can do it.

They're still having trouble working people in for oil changes because of,..."covid"! LOL! 8 days out for an oil change! Probably more like catching up from staring at the eclipse.

I had an exceptional experience here! I ordered my Bronco and I was walked thru the entire purchase, considering all the options and during the scheduling process! Pick up of my new vehicle was a breeze! Additionally, Teresa in Finance and insurance made everything so easy and simple. I really felt I could trust her advice. Really nice to do business ( AGAIN) with a family owned business! The entire staff is terrific! Excellent and professional experience! I wouldn’t consider buying anywhere ( NEW or USED) else! You shouldn’t either!

Bought a Ford here in August and sales guy lied. Said he would drop price and came back with high interest rate and no price drop. Then to top it off lied about it. Been trying to get truth in lending envoked. Impossible to schedule an oil change and their power train warranty is a complete scam. Avoid these sharks at all cost!

The GM of this dealership has zero concern for customer service. Overcharged me for sales tax on an out of state purchase then took nearly 3 weeks to get my title and reimbursement to me so I could pay the correct sales tax amount and register the vehicle. Learned just days after purchase that the vehicle I bought was in need of a software update to correct a known issue , GM would only offer to cover half of the cost or I could drive 8hrs round-trip back to them for their service dept to do the update. When it should have been completed prior to the vehicle being sold. Overall very disappointing experience. Buyer beware.

Had a great experience working with Andy! Wasn't pushy and let me have some breathing room while looking at the car. There was a minor problem with the car and they serviced it soon as possible with no issues. Everyone at the Rantoul shields had a positive attitude, and was very respectful. Definitely plan on coming back in the near future.

DON’T GO HERE, They had my car for 4 days then “accidentally” ordered the wrong rim for my car. Asked for a discount since they ordered the wrong rim and wasn’t suppose to have my car that long they said no because it wasn’t something they noticed on their end. Got my car back and seen scratches on it & asked could they buff it out & detail it and the OLD man said no once again LMFAOOOOO, Idk why he that old working up there anyways and don’t have customer service so yeahhh.

Worst service dept. Kept giving them chances a complete waist of time Dale is the worst service manager I have ever delt with. Shouldn't be a manager Wants to argue with you more than anything. Doesnt do what he says he will do Incomplete work or work not done at all. Never returning again and would tell everyone else dont use the service dept.

Our sales guy, Kory, was great. Very laid back attitude which I appreciated. Wasn't pushy at all and very friendly. Car was exactly as advertised and I absolutely love it. Well worth the 90 minutes drive to and from the Dealership.
