This is our first choice when looking for home improvement items in our town. The staff there are knowledgeable and are so helpful. There has never been a time when we have had to wait long for help. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 is because I do wish they had more options but it is amazing to not have to drive 25 minutes to buy a 2x4, a gallon of paint or have someone explain how to do something. Yea! Kudos to the Rantoul True Value Staff!!!

Best customer service I've had in years. Super helpful, kind gentleman in the paint section went above and beyond. He deserves an excellent customer service award and a pay raise! Will definitely go back. Decent pricing too; especially with the rewards card.

Local hardware store with everything you should need. Prices are a little higher than going to a box store in Champaign. But I'll pay a dollar or two more for the convenience.

The staff is always knowable and helpful. They almost always have what I need and if not can get it. They also have great mark-down sales. To top that off they have Craftsman brand tools and replacement supplies. And it's right here in Rantoul.

I needed some expertise to rewire a lamp I was able to save in house fire. A Wonderful Young Man, Joey, is the BEST. He made it possible for me to use this valuable heirloom. Joey fixed it and wanted nothing, but to make me Happy !! And He Did !!! I'll never able to Thank Joey enough. GOD BLESS HIM. !!!

I have always shopped at the Rantoul Il. Ace Hardware, but when I walked in today and saw that employees were not wearing a mask except for the 1 guy with it on his elbow I decided not to buy anything from a business that can't have their employees do the simplest thing which is put on a mask. Your employees come in contact with many people throughout the day and you would think they would want to be part of the solution not the problem. I will definitely let my friends, family, and Health Dept. know that your employees are not masked up.

Rantoul needs the hardware store the people are very friendly but whoever owns Maple Grove is a owner who doesn't understand how important is parking lots are take a look at the 6-inch potholes that are everywhere it looks like it is from a third world country I wish the inspectors from Rantoul would go and check it out and maybe talk to him about how bad the place is like I said it looks like something from a third world country
