This place is so freaking cute! The owner is sweet and wants everyone to have funThe prices for food and hot chocolate are SO reasonable. The hot chocolate is SO good. I think it’s made with water and not milk, which I like. And good for anyone who is lactose intolerant.I would recommend, when going in the winter, take your tour when the sun is out because as you know it gets chilly when the sun sets lol.The tour is about 15 ish minutes and $8 per person.Totally worth it and I would do it multiple times just because. The reindeer are so freaking cute and feeding them oats feels fun in your hand. There is a playground for kids and a place where they can ride pedal go carts. And they have a little gift shop.As an adult without children it was the best. They are friendly animals.

This is an amazing Reindeer ranch. So happy to visit this place yesterday. We took the reindeer tour which was very good. Omg! Reindeers were so lively, cute and they were very gentle with us. There was a gift shop store. There was a wide variety of collections there, especially, for Christmas decorations and small souvenirs. I think the best thing to explore here is the reindeer tour and the second one is the corn maze. We didn't have enough time for the corn maze yesterday. Next time we are looking forward to doing it. Every year the maze changes and it's a really fun and exciting thing to do for the kids. I would definitely recommend exploring this.

It was a wonderful experience! All of the reindeer were very gentle with the kids, and you could tell how extraordinarily they were cared for. All of the staff was very kind and compassionate even though they were extremely busy and crowded!

My family and I had such a great time visiting on Christmas Eve! This will be our family tradition for Christmas Eve going forward. The employees were friendly, the pedal cars were a blast and the reindeer were magical. We cannot wait to visit in the fall!

What a magical place! The only activity we did was feeding the reindeer but it was so much fun. They did their best to make the experience as accessible as possible, and if you can push through the gravel you'll be fine in a wheelchair. Can't wait to go back!

We had a great time here tonight. The owner was absolutely amazing. Kindest guy ever. They weren’t very busy tonight and he took the time to have a good conversation with us and show us around the place after we did the maze. Got to see his dog Flap Jack too. Thank you Hardy’s reindeer ranch!

Our first time going and we loved it! Was hoping to grab some big pumpkins while there but they were pretty low which considering it was only two days until Halloween I completely understand. Reindeer are the best part about this ranch!! Loved the hayride and wish we would of had time for the maze but everyone coming out seemed to like it.

Loved this ranch. Especially in December. The cornfield maze was closed unfortunately but I managed to feed some beautiful reindeer! They also have a really wonderful gift store filled with an assortment of gifts. The cost to feed the reindeers is $8 per person. It’s definitely worth it. Fun for adults and for kids.

On the way to chicago we stopped off to see some reindeer. It was a rainy day so we were the only ones there on a Thursday afternoon. We fed the reindeer oats and crackers. Cost was $6 per person and worth every penny. It was so cool to see them in person. The ranch is very nice and the owners even nicer. I will stop in anytime we are close.

They're open for the season! They have a different maze every season and have some other things to go and see! Including the reindeer! The maze is the main attraction and is quite impressive. You can very easily get lost, so bring your phone if you need help. Things around the ranch are nicely themed. I would call to make sure certain thing are open- the maze and reindeer parts are almost always open it seems. Go check them out!

I saw a Facebook add for the reindeer ranch and decided to take a trip to see it today. It was a good time. We got to feed and pet the reindeer. They were so gentle. Prices were reasonable. $8 a person to feed them. They had peddle tractors and had a gravel track but most were of them had flat tires and you had to pay $5 a person to ride them. No one was working the peddle cars and people where just walking up and getting on them. They also had a paintball shooting gallery that was $5 for 50 shots that was neat. Definitely will take the rest of my boys here before the holiday.

Josh gave us a wonderful reindeer tour complete with fun facts, history and even taught us how to feed the reindeer. We were very impressed by this ranch and it was neat just to walk around the property. I definitely recommend visiting this place it has something to do for all ages. Also it’s a paved road the entire way.Keep in mind that they are only opened Sept- Dec.

Four of us went and it was $24 for the Reindeer Tour. That gave us a handful of oats and a couple little pieces of graham crackers. We had so much fun and got beautiful pictures!! If you put the cracker in your lips the very gentle "reindeer" will give you a gentle kiss to remove the cracker from your mouth! They are so adorable! The kids had a blast riding the old time pedal cars, even though they didn't last very long due to the physical activity, but they had fun. We were sad the corn maze was already down and they have paintballs as well, but we weren't able to do that. We would love to go back earlier in the fall to play paintballs, go through the maze, and ride the hay wagon!! They are open from August to December. I think October would be the best time to go. It's not too far into Rantoul. GPS stopped just a bit shy, but we kept driving until we saw the big red barn. Staff and owners are all friendly, amazing people. It was chilly out and we had hot cocoa that was fantastic. I wish it was a one price for all activities, but each thing is separate, such as the pedal cars were $4 for each big kid, cocoa was $2 per cup, so the charges really added up for the day. But we had a great time and enjoyed our time together as a family. I know they're upkeep is very expensive as well!!

Wonderful place to visit with the whole family whenever it's open. We were fortunate to visit with the whole family and a big group of friends, who they kindly accommodated together on a hay rack ride, but the reindeer tour and playground for all ages were big hits, too. Thankful to have a lovely outdoor experience, and thankful for the hot cocoa, too. Wish we could have cut our tree from them, but it's a little hard to transport back to Seattle. Thanks for the fun - and the checkers, Hardy's!

This has become a tradition for us. The reindeer are really cool. We love their kisses! Lots to do and see. Tree selection wasn't great but we still bought one here. Gift shop is cool. Staff are friendly. We plan to go back as long as they're around. Petting reindeer is something I didn't know I wanted to do until I did it and getting "kisses" from them was definitely not on that list either. ☺

Their website needs to be updated. We drove an hour and a half to get there for a white pine tree and to visit the reindeer. When we arrived we asked where to find the white pine trees and were told that they didn’t have any because they’re hard to find this year. We do cut your own every year so we were expecting to be able to do so. Now we have to find another tree farm and drive more than expected to get our Christmas tree and do our family tradition. The staff was rude and we will not be back.

Enjoyed their pulled pork parfait, absolutely some of the best pulled pork and mashed potatoes I have had. Some other food choices included: Chicago dog, chili, chips, soda, hot chocolate, sugar cookies, and hot cider in the general store. My son enjoyed the play area outside. Loved all the choices of ornaments Hardy's had in the general store, put me in the Christmas spirit! We came for the reindeer and were not disappointed. An affordable $5 tour pass (purchased in the general store) gave you a well informed tour guide and a chance to feed the reindeer a Graham cracker and some oats. All reindeer were very friendly. We were not disappointed and will most definitely be back at harvest time next year!

Very cute place. Reindeer are cool and you can see them easily. Fun feeding tour experience, was too busy but maybe next time. Nice free kids play area. Plenty of parking. You can get fresh cut Xmas trees too (cool). Only down side was 25% of people not wearing masks. Not the locations fault people are inconsiderate in these crazy times. We'll be back.

Absolutely adorable and has a magical feeling to it.A MUST BUCKET LIST -- KISS A REINDEER!! They are such sweet animals, the restaurant served huge portions of homemade food and desserts. The show was hilarious and joyful, had us all laughing our heads off. The gift shop was also very cute and quaint with nice items to purchase and reminisce about your trip to the ranch and the reindeers. I can't say enough great things about this place. A MUST SEE for sure.Made #4 on the American Airlines 50 Must See Places on your bucket list IN THE WORLD.Will be returning next year as well.If I had anything negative to add, it would be that their beautiful souvenir sweatshirts are in sizes S-XL only and run out fast. There are many cute, gifts in the gift shop, reasonably priced if you can't find a sweatshirt, like me.Children would love this but not a place to let them run around so if you bring your littles, make sure they are holding your hands at all times. Free hot apple cider to drink too. And last but not least, go when there IS snow on the ground...makes for magical pictures and a joyous atmosphere.

Family owned business. Everyone is friendly. The hayrides are exciting for children. There's a good-sized play area with large hay bales. The pedal race cars are adorable.y favorite part was getting to do the reindeer tour.I definitely plan on coming back next month when their pumpkins are ready and the concessions are open.

This is a cute little place to visit in the fall. I'd go on a weekday when it's not busy but you'll miss there cafe. There reindeers are great. I enjoyed feeding them and they were fairly gentle. Will probably make this an annual event.

Had a really good time. Its a fun little experience. It is not huge has a little general store and a dining area (not sure if its open with covid) but its really about the reindeer. The reindeer are so cool with the tour you get to feed them some snacks and pet them. We spent maybe an hour there, the tour is a feeding q&a thats about 15 min plus you can take pics of them in their pen and shop a little. There is a little play area for the littles not huge but cute... Long story short it was fun feeding and petting the reindeer and worth it.

Glorious! The gift shop is full of eclectic items. You can get a cup of hot apple cider and warm yourself by the pot belly stove. The reindeer are adorable and super sweet!

Reindeer Ranch is a lovely family run business in Central Illinois. It's always a pleasure to go and feed the reindeer, watch the pumpkins get launched, do the corn maze or have a nice cup of cider next to the wood burning stove. Trees can be cut the Friday after Thanksgiving. Highly recommend for a few hours of outdoor family fun supporting a local family owned business!

Enjoyable every time we go. We've gone at least once a year since all they did was Christmas trees. Simple fun for my daughter and now my grandson.

My husband and I took our boys to see the reindeer. Before we took the reindeer tour, I thought it was not going to be worth the $5 but it was! Our tour guide was so nice and you could see how much she enjoyed talking about the reindeer! We had such a great time with her and enjoyed listening to her share her knowledge about the reindeer!
