Wednesday evening June 24th around closing time, I went into FD to get a shelf, I found the one I wanted, went to checkout to pay for it using a credit card.I was just in there a day or two before and the one credit card machine would not work, kept timing out. The clerk was able to go to the other register and I paid for my things using the other credit card machine.When I went to the register to pay for my shelf my credit card again would not work, it kept timing out like before. I told the girl that they used the other machine previously. The clerk at the other register was rude and said she couldn't do anything she had already closed her register. No one offered to do anything.Question: If you have two registers and one is broke, if you were to close one, which one would you leave open???? Daaa!!!!I'm really sorry that Family Dollar cannot employ more competent people. Maybe I'll just pray for them and that God will give them some sense. I now shop at Dollar General.

I love this store even more during holidays they can have the cutest holiday stuff but very limited..so if you're in there & see em..grab em!

Every time I come in here it is the same woman working and she is always on the phone, usually complaining about her job. Last time I was in, I had to ask her to come up to the counter so I could pay for my stuff and she kept talking on the store phone the whole way down the aisle to the register and she continued to cradle the phone and talk while checking me out. She was telling her friend how she was an hour late opening the store because she had to close the night before and "there wasn't no way in hell" she was getting up that early after being there that late. I almost left my stuff on the counter.

That store and the employees are are rude, and racist! Never go to this store! Worst experience my children have come across thus far! Shame on them. The store is trashy also!

The cashier was very friendly and helpful. A lot of items I was looking for were either sold or not available.

Employees do nothing but sit and gossip about there personal lives instead of putting anything on shelves don't bother telling the store manager waste of time🙄🙄
