Umm the chicken is the best part of this place! The chicken tenders are juicy and the chicken wings are so good! The drums are juicy and I like the crunch on the chicken. It’s not too crunchy and not soft.They have a small produce section. And the store is pretty small but what you can expect from a small town.The staff is friendly.Don’t mind the sparse chicken. We dug in before I could get pictures lol

"Customer service Manager" if that's what you want to call her was very rude. I rarely every play scratch off tickets. Might play them if I get them for a gift. Well I got one as a gift and won 200. I take it in to cash it after I go to other place and the so called manager was rude about cashing it in. She says " you know there are other stores that cash these right" and " you can take it to Walmart to cash it in" I live a mile from county market. Why would I want to drive all the way to Walmart to cash it in. Won't be shopping there anymore.

The staff is split between helpful and don’t talk to them, for the area the prices are high. The deli - needs major help!!! It’s def not the County Market deli I’m used to - they should take lessons from the Springfield Ave and Kirby Ave stores!!

It’s very disappointing to shop at the Rantoul County market. The customer service is poor and they make you feel like you’re doing them a disservice by shopping there. From now on I’ll go the extra mile down the road to Walmart and spend my money.

At times you must buy a certain quantity of a product to get their sales price. Sometimes the product in their Ad never shows up at the store,sorry no rain cks. Digital coupons on the app has to be a select variety of the product. Their Staff are all Part time & not all that Friendly's. Watch what you buy as it may be past the goodness date. They are a smaller grocery store chain that I give a mediocre score to that could do much better if they tried.

Two days ago, I was in there with my elderly mother, who had coupons as well as digital coupons. A nice young check out boy did not realize that if you scan their card as opposed to just the digital coupons, the coupons do not ring up so everything had to be redone. A woman behind the front desk had to come out, and instead of just voiding out the order, she proceeded to one by one make this cashier find each thing that had been charged without coupon price, and deduct each one off at the register, which was very time consuming, made. My elderly mother stand there, which she has trouble doing, and was embarrassing to both my mother and this young man, she was extremely unprofessional and impatient. I plan to go there again with my mother because this has happened to her before, so I can be sure that it’s done properly, and my mother doesn’t have to experience the kind of humiliation this employee displayed.

For a business that is employee owned you would think the workers would be more helpful. Instead you can rarely find someone anywhere other than at the front of the store where they gather to socialize. I truly hate shopping there and do so only for any penny pincher items I may want. I will say this, even with the above they are a better store than the one in gibson city. I wish we would get an aldi closer.

It's hard to believe that 8 pieces of chicken costs $13.99. The fried chicken is pretty good but the potato salad tasted like someone put sugar in it which completely ruined it. Lose the sugar & have a fried chicken day and watch business increase.

Nice enough. Clean, decent produce and frozen food selection. Pretty good sized store. I'm not a fan of stores offering tiny bottles of hard alcohol in the check out lane for impulse sales. Rantoul already has enough issues withv1 out 5 cars reeking of pot as they are driving down the street, often with children in the cars. Seeing empties littering County markets parking lot shows we gave a many people driving under the influence thanks to county market making it too easy to buy booze on implulse.

The app is terrible and does what it wants with your information. Also shows things are available in store when they are not. Driving from another town to go here for specific purposes is rather frustrating when they in reality do not have what your looking for.

Great store, good selection, decent prices, slightly higher than larger chain stores. The chicken at the deli is wonderful. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. Today my silly dog got out of the car, another customer grabbed her, and a staff member made an announcement, and we were able to get my Houdini dog back in the car. Thank you!

Always Clean, bright lighting, free parking, wheelchair accessible. Awesome deli and produce. Shelves always stocked neatly, and food rotation always. Lots of great sales thru the year, and they have a mobile app. The staff are FANTASTIC, and if you need something that's not available because so many people shop there, go to service desk, the Ladies there are the Best ! Very Helpful, Always smiling and They will help you !!! And try that BEST seafood salad I have Ever had from the Deli ! And they also carry oval spiced home for us Easterners ! I update my reviews often, so this is my 5th 5 star review for County Market. Was there today, and bright and clean. Fresh produce, and Yes, Spiced Ham at Deli.

I get angry every time I come here because of the prices. I'm familiar with the "big box store" prices and usually compare. On occasion I come here in a dinner emergency because the other store is so far away and I'm just floored. It's also irritating having to go in one side and out the other.

The store is nice and clean. The aisles are configured in a weird order. Its a small town so there isn't a wide variety of produce and meat. Also they are expensive unless you use their penny pincher coupons or loyalty card. The people are friendly.

This County Market is better than the one that I usually go to. Most everything was in stock unlike the other stores. When you compare the pricing to Walmart, you will be paying more. I only came to County Market to use the Penny Pincher coupons they offer.

This particular county market has phenomenal customer service, an A+ selection of produce and meat, the prices are slightly more than the super Walmart but as long as you look for the sale items and use the monthly coupon, it's so much better than having to deal with the acres big super centers. Highly recommended!

Prices on a wide variety of items are significantly higher than other local grocery stores. During my visit approximately 20% of the patrons were not wearing masks. Store appeared to be well-stocked.

Didn't care for the looks of people because I was using the electric Cart. Just because you can't see someone's disability doesn't mean they don't have one. I medical issues with my back and joints and have been having been having really bad days lately. I only use them when I must.

My spot everything you needs in there somewhere always busy tho but prepares for the wait and they took the penny pincher books to app so you'll have to go on app and clip the coupons and once your maxx card is scanned it automatically takes discounts off automatically

Definitely more expensive than the blue store for most of their products. HOWEVER they do have great sales...and great produce and much better meat than the above mentioned store. So if they aren't having sales, I'll buy my dry goods elsewhere and my produce and meat there.Their cakes USED to be amazing. They were SO GOOD, and decorated by someone talented who paid attention to not only detail, but also the simple instructions of "Green icing please" and "This is how to spell his name." The last three cakes we got from them made it obvious the amazing decorator was no longer employed there. So we go somewhere else for birthday cakes now.

They finally brought back pick 5 for twenty, however, wheres the meat? Maybe 1 choice of meat if your lucky. Service is great always! And prices? Can find ok deals from time time. Schnucks kicks county markets hiney on deals everyday. Plus they have a different meat deal daily. 4 for $20 or 5 for $20

Prices are a little higher but that's expected in a smaller chain of stores I guess. Staff is nice and helpful and they have most things that Walmart has. The County Martlet brands of things are yummy.
