Made an impromptu visit and so very glad we did. The perfect way to end or begin 😉 a day of exploring along the Mississippi River. Generous amounts of alcohol served along-side tasty, little, melt-in-your-mouth truffles. Friendly staff & warm hospitality!

Great atmosphere and place to be. The server was very kind but the food was not as good. I ordered a chicken salad sandwhich and it tasted stale and kind of bland. It was a special of the day so i’m assuming it was about to expire. The macaroon we had was hard as well and not very good. The coffee tasted fine and the place was cute so I guess thst makes up for it.

I have been a long time customer of Melanie's Country Confections (now The Yum Factory, Inc.) This year I ordered two boxes of 25 chocolates for family members in Wisconsin & Colorado for Valentine's Day as I do every year. When my family received them, the mint meltaways were no larger than a penny and the other chocolates included were not much larger than that...absolutely ridiculous! Especially since the price of a box that size has increased this year. I will not be ordering again from The Yum Factory, Inc...incredibly disappointing.

I was told before ordering that their cake decorator may be out of town, but they could still create a simple cake. I told them anything doctor related.. I’d say they outdid themselves! It was a hit!

I ordered two cakes for my child’s first birthday from here: one a Clifford shaped and decorated cake just for them; one a regular circular cake for guests; I also ordered a dozen cupcakes. When ordering, I specified that the Clifford cake should be in fondant and the regular cake should have light icing on it. When my husband went to pick them up he sent me a picture and the Clifford cake was clearly covered in icing. When my husband asked about this, the lady who had done it said that if I had gotten it in fondant the cake would have been an extra $150 so we were wrong. We rented a room that was carpeted and because the cake was made with icing we had quite a hard time cleaning up. Once we cut into the circular cake at the party it was obvious that it had not been done with light icing (I’m very lactose sensitive and my husband doesn’t like frosting) so we were a bit disappointed. Now the cakes both looked and tasted great (icing and fondant issues aside) and the cupcakes were exactly as ordered. However, with it being my child’s first birthday and paying what I did I was disappointed. I contacted the owner the next day about the issues and she apologized and refunded me $50-because we had paid the fondant price and received icing. While this is nice and all I would have rather had the cakes the way I ordered them. I was also disappointed that whoever talked to my husband seemed to try to lie so that we wouldn’t want to contact the owner about the issue. I wouldn’t have even left a review but every review highly recommended them, which is why I went with them to begin with. Again the cake tasted good but I wish I had gone elsewhere because I would not have paid that much for both cakes to be wrong for my child’s first birthday.

The woman were so nice and helpful. Went in for one thing and they were so nice to help me when I saw more things I wanted. Didn't know they sold Lotus drinks and she was helpful and showed me the menu and made me what I wanted and then I decided the cupcakes looked good and she was more than happy to help with that. Will definitely be going back for Lotus drinks and and service. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

The food was great. I especially liked the warm croissant with the cool chicken salad. The lotus drinks are refreshing and something different from the usual soda. They were very friendly and helped me deal with a problem I had redeeming one of their discount offers.

Oh my goodness! Amazing, as always. Whenever we come to Quincy, we always make a stop at The Yum Factory to get our treat fix. Today, we had the booze infused strawberries. The wonderful staff made us some on the spot. Let's just say that the strawberries didn't make it home. They were gone in no time! Highly recommend the Mint Julep truffles as well. *chef's kiss*

I've been going to the Yum Factory since they were down on Maine Street. Their new building is very cozy for a visit with friends or a date. Candies and sweets are delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. I can tell they're happy employees. Some friends and I even tested out the "igloos" outside and had a blast.

Adorable, cozy atmosphere! Lots of cute choices! Tasty creative treats! The Lotus drink was the perfect pick me up for brunch! And the Kahlua truffle was rich and satisfying! My kiddos enjoyed their cute cookies and flavored macarons!

We had such a great time at The Yum Factory! It's not just a bakery and chocolate bar, it's an experience. We decorated cookies, and ate lunch in an igloo. We recommend the mac and cheese, pink frenzy lotus drink, and the wedding cake macaroons, but everything we ate was delicious. Highly recommend stopping for lunch sometime!

We had Melanie provide DIY decorate your own cookies and cupcakes for a event with Toddlers. She was so kind and professional. I went with her after tasting her delicious cookies at this event for our daughters second birthday. The cakes I ordered tasted amazing. The cookies were beautiful and tasted as good as I remembered. You always see Melanie doing something kind for someone else on social media. She is the kind of person that makes you want to give her your business- and her product speaks for itself. 5 stars.

I am not able to eat wheat. For my birthday I had the Yum Factory make me a chocolate wheat less cake. I shared it with 8 people and no one could tell it was wheat free. It was delicious and worth every penny. Thank you YF for making my birthday delicious 😍

They exceeded my expectations. Quality and taste were great. I had a short deadline and they met the deadline during a holiday with many other orders. I asked for individuality with my order and they were able to custom make what I asked for in 3 dozen varieties.

I went in to pick up a cake for a 4 yearly birthday. It was supposed to be a mini mouse cake. I piked up a white cake with pink frosting and silver macarons for ears. Nothing made me think Minnie mouse cake. After I requested a refund and was told no I asked for a discount then because it was not worth $50, she then told me no and threw in my face the fact that I worked for her years ago and had just been diagnosed with epilepsy. She said I always had problems with you, well no duh chicka I had seizers. Very disappointed in the quality of this cake, I have seen much nicer ones come out of her kitchen and I only got this because she has a personal vendetta against me.

Ordered a cake for mothers day. PREPAID over $50 for an 8 inch two layer. Cake looked NOTHING like my picture. Wasnt even pretty!! Her response is why I'm posting. She flipped out on me. Said they didn't have this & that to make it look right. I told her that she should've been honest. She jerked my credit card out of my hand. Then, ended up giving me cash....10 short! This woman should not be dealing with the public, let alone, running a business. Horrible experience.

Not just a cool little bakery! They sell a lot of packaged Keto products and well as some homemade fat bombs and keto truffles. I'm so glad I was pointed in their direction. I would have never thought it would be Keto friendly. Definitely darkening their doorstep again!! Thank you for providing Keto products here in Quincy!
