We had the best experience with the Home Depot store and employees. We needed a piece of wood for our sofa to put under the cushions to raise and firm it up. After debating on what kind of wood would work best they come up with the idea of the coated scraps they had. We got it at NO charge. I'm having surgery and this will work perfectly. Thank you Home Depot in Quincy Illinois for such a great experience.

I don't know about other locations but I never have things for smooth here in Quincy. I've only been in there 3 times and each time it's been an ordeal, when it shouldn't have been, should be normal, easy transactions but it just doesn't happen there for me

Would not price match local store on power tool even with paper add in hand only because compatider was out of stock. Lowes will price match Amazon think they will be getting all my business now.

Terrible customer service. I am not going to be rude and explain what really they did. I regret spending a lot of money there buying stove-range and a dryer.

Gary Odell what kind of store are you running? Because customer service and taking care of the customer issues (due to the incompetentance) of not only three of your employees but also TWO of your managers is downright awful.I called into your store on December 18th. I spoke to Reese. I asked if they could cut 1 piece of wood for me into 5 pieces with specific dimensions for a repair job I was doing for my son FOR christmas, as a gift. He said NO PROBLEM. When I came in, I asked for Reese, he came over with another employee to help. They pulled down the sheet of particle board and we proceeded to the wall saw.I gave him the dimensions and he finished. He only charged me for the pieces I needed and kept the rest. Three employees watched as these pieces were cut.When I got home, the measurements were checked against the pieces I was replacing and they were off, by alot.So I immediately called in to home Depot and spoke to Marty, who I assume was the night shift MOD.He was very rude, talking about profit and how he wasn't making any money on the piece of wood I purchased and how he had to pay his employee to cut them. I also purchased other supplies that night.But assured me he would take care of me and would have the pieces cut again from a new sheet and they would be ready to pick up the next day.The next day I sent my son out to pick up the corrected pieces of wood and he was given the run around with policies and rudeness.So then I called, spoke to another manager, not sure of name, but he was even more rude to me on the phone, and despite the previous manager telling me he would have the pieces cut, this manager said he had spoken to him and told him they couldn't do it.I was left with no answers. Rudely treated and not taken care of.I don't care that your billion dollar corporation didn't make money off of a $23 dollar piece of wood, or your policy that was not explained to me ahead of time. I should have been taken care of as a customer.I have purchased from home Depot Quincy store for 30 years. Have had MANY pieces of wood cut, recently even, because I replaced the wood on my desk about 8 months ago, and wood was cut, no issues. No policies mentioned then either.Take care of your customer. Customer service should be number 1 and you lost a 30 year customer this week due to rudeness, lack of customer service, and a failure to help a customer give a gift in time for Christmas.I'll never spend another dime in your store.Btw, HOME DEPOT is KNOWN for cutting wood.

We had a great interaction with Dawn is Customer Service. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great customer service experience with a return we had. Time and time again I choose to drive the hour to a Home Depot and not go to their competitors closer to me because of this service. 100% recommend.

thank you Home depot for holding my order and getting a time extension. In the end they sent my package home since it is very big. they are all great employees except Kayla or Cayla (I don't know her name exactly) the girl is very rude on the phone, rude, she made me feel like I am a big bother. Good for everyone else and the delivery team. 5 stars to them!

After repeatedly getting the run around between the online shipping center and the local store I asked to speak with the manager. He was very confrontational from the beginning without being provoked. I simply wanted my order and had taken multiple days off work waiting it's arrival at this point. Cost me time and money far beyond the mower. He claimed it wasn't that serious of a situation when I calmly explained that if he couldn't tell me when I would actually get my mower I would have to cancel. But to me making $3,000 purchases are serious situation that many other people are as well. So I canceled and ordered directly from the manufacturer. So rude for no reason. Like I wasn't even upset until after that call.

These people are great. I went there with my friend to get a vanity for her bathroom and these people stayed after closing time and got her exactly what she needed and helped put it in her vehicle and they didn't even complain one time that they had to stay over. More people should be like this. Awesome place!

I walked around for 15 mns, passed multiple employees, not one of them asked if I needed help with anyhung. Finally found what I was looking for, went to self checkout because no one was at any of the registers, only to find 6 employees all standing around talking to each other. Again, no one asked if I found everything ok or even acknowledged I was there ti check out. On top of that, they stood in front of the registers and I had to walk around them to check out lol. Definitely will not be going back.

Been to store 3 times to talk to someone about building a deck! First time totally ignored me and this was by one female manager and a girl on computer. second time same thing this time male manager. THIRD time asked for help at service then went to lumber to wait. no one showed You failed big time Home Depot well this stores employees anyway! I realize it is just a few thousand dollars guess you all must be rolling in money..

There was a hiccup with our delivery however they corrected it immediately. The customer service and integrity is old fashioned, good service! They have earned a customer for life! Privacy fence and dishwasher purchased and delivered July 2022. The delivery driver rocks!

Jarden (the guy in charge of greenhouse) and Danelle are amazing!They were very helpful and actually looked like they enjoyed their job and assisting others. I will go back to Home Depot for more plants, etc because of their great customer service.

Ordered new washer/dryer. Canceled a trip to be home for them. Came today all scratched up and dirty like left sitting outside. Ridiculous!!! Sent them back & can get no answer on when to expect NEW w/d... worse place ever!!! Delivery drivers were nice.

Russ at the Pro counter and Kurt the delivery driver were wonderful in my last two transactions at Home Depot. I was pretty much done with ever shopping there but made an exception for an outstanding price on two large deliveries of mulch, and both times I dealt with Russ and Kurt. They were friendly, professional, courteous, and helpful. Because of them I’m willing to try shopping at Home Depot again.

Went to Home Depot in Quincy il .One night after being on the highway for 10 days .I had ordered a bed table online .Went to the pickup in store (front desk) about my order .The front desk looked it up but couldn’t seem to find it .So after about 20 minutes or they stop searching for it .And I was basically just there in the way at this point .But they had one employee that went that extra mile .And found my over bed table .(Beth Fleming).I will say this I’m an over the road trucker .I’ve been a lot of places and most people treat their jobs as just a 9 to 5 job.Beth Fleming will make you feel important when you arrive in Quincy.il Home Depot.

This particular Home Depot is incredibly HUGE with a phenomenal selection of products. Even better, though, is the incredible support team. They are consistently helpful, friendly and you feel like you're shopping with friends. I cannot imagine a better experience. Highly recommended!

The young, very polite and knowledgeable man who helped me in the paint department was the best. He matched my paint chip perfectly in your photo machine. Did not know there was such a thing. You cannot tell where I touched-up the wall. I was very impressed with his service.

Every time I come in, I am immediately greeted and asked if I need help finding anything. Check out is fast & convenient. Staff is helpful, even helping to load my car. Also, grateful that the staff wore masks & the store was taking COVID-19 seriously.
