I’m changing my rating on this review to a 5 star rating only because of the corporation I received from the store Manager at the Quincy location and the Cottleville store locations , as far as the corporate company policies I would still give a rating of 1 star. I’m did receive a call from the HR department at the corporate office so they did follow up with my complaint regarding discrimination based on people with handicaps. Their policy is biases!I’m writing this review not as a complaint about the stores themselves, I’m an actual regular customer of the Cottleville Missouri and I absolutely love the store, the variety of products and the competitive pricing. The employees who work there always give great customer service.I’m writing this review because I feel like this company discriminates against people with disabilities. I’m a retired retail person who worked almost all of my career ( 36 years) at one employer. I applied for a position for a part - time cashier/ customer service person etc…. I interviewed with the store manager who was great and seemed very nice and very professional and my interview went great. I went back for a second interview with the DM Jessica and I felt again my interview went very well. Come to find out they were considering other candidates because of my 20lb. weight restriction, which I explained to her I do have limatations on how much I could lift especially repeatedly, but I believe there was no reason that should of been disqualified to be a cashier. What happened to helping our disabled citizens who still want to be productive and contribute to society and to the store team and customers. I guess I’ll be forced to try Walmart everyone says they go out of there way to hire folks with disabilities. Well that’s my review and the reason for one star review. The store and store team still receives a 5 star review!

While I'm originally from northern Illinois, I live in South Carolina. I have a geriatric chinchilla (Dunkin) that has been on the same food for 13 years and I can no longer find it anywhere near me. I did a Google search and stumbled upon the Farm & Home Supply in Quincy. This is now my 2nd time ordering and its amazing!!! Great response on your order progress and its packed extremely well! It's shipped fast and arrives faster than expected. I truly appreciate y'all!

The Quincy, Illinois Farm&Home store has a great manager and sales staff. They are always willing to help you find whatever you’re looking for. It’s my favorite store in town.

I have been doing a lot of shopping lately at Farm and home. I like that I can go in there and there are not a ton of people. The staff is all very knowledgeable about where things are and how to use different items that they sell. I also enjoyed the bulk candy that is by the checkout lanes. It’s absolutely impossible to leave the store without a piece or two of salt water taffy.

Don't buy anything here unless you live close by because you're going to have to return it or exchange it or end up getting something else because they don't have what you anymore on the shelves.They never know when they're getting anything in horrible selection of BB guns and pellet guns. Still better than ordering online and getting the wrong thing and waiting 6 months to get it replaced.Either way I bought online these guys will work with you you just got to be realistic and polite which is how everybody should be in the first place not everybody's going to know everything though they don't know too much about their products they have not a problem listening to you and making you happy.

I decided it is not in my best interest to depend on this chain anymore for my horse or farm needs. It’s really important to keep a horse’s diet consistent and there’s no way that was possible when relying on Farm and Home. For the last 6 months it’s been ridiculous having to call several different locations every time I needed to buy feed. There are better businesses out there to spend money with, businesses that respond to a customer by delivering, or at least being a helpful shade of transparent in order to help the customer out. In contrast, I don’t see any of the other farm stores posting signs all throughout their stores stating logistic issues with this item or that item. Ironically, I’ve never noticed a sign for the feed I bought- which is Tribute Essential-K.*UPDATE: I reached out via email as suggested by Farm and Home in their response to my review. This gave me an opportunity to discuss the issues I had encountered in-store over the phone with a manager. We had a really good conversation, I felt that the person who I talked to cares genuinely about customer satisfaction by the questions he asked and the explanations and information he gave me. I also learned that I left my review for the Quincy Store, which was not the Farm and Home store I thought I was leaving the review for. This review was intended for the Keokuk store! My apologies!

Placed an order online with Farm and Home Supply. Shipping was fast item was delivered in just a couple days to my farm in New York. There was a slight problem with the shipping address customer service called me and got it corrected quickly! Will definitely look to order other things from them in the future. Best part was the Milwaukee tool kit I purchased was about $80 cheaper than similar places online! Wonderful experience definitely recommend this place!
