I purchased 500 superworms for my bearded dragon yesterday. They were in 2 separate containers and were taped together. I had them in the car for under 15 minutes and when. I went to put them in a bigger container, I found over 100 dead superworms and I am still finding more. I called the store and Racheal said it was impossible for them to be dead because they check on them twice a day. I believe that is a lie because alot of the dead ones were eaten on by the other superworms. This is unacceptable. I paid for 500 superworms.....around $26. I did NOT PAY for over 100 dead superworms. I would like the dead ones replaced.

Great deals. Especially as a Rewards Member. Always friendly and accommodating. They know all of our furbabies. The grooming is fast, friendly and reasonably priced. They celebrate our babies Birthdays with a new toy. Robert is always helpful even when his suppliers stop carrying items (3 oz. catnip) and tries to get similar products in. They are always running a sale on the products we regularly purchase.

It's a small store, but the selection of supplies is on point! The staff is friendly & helpful. I get most of my cat/rabbit/fish supplies here. Glad to have them in town!

The fish at this store right now have Ich. I let a worker know and they said they've been getting some bad batches. Seems like they are still selling these deadly fish to customers though. Do not get fish here until this is fixed. I recommend Aqua Huna.

We stopped in to see the baby bearded dragons. We had many concerns from the substrate and the red light in the beardies cages...we asked the worker how old they could be and she said about 4-5 months old. She was so uneducated on them. This baby was a hatchling and could only be a few days old if a week..very upsetting...this is how petstores like this get such a bad rap...get it together and educate your workers!!

I really like this store. The associates are super friendly and very eager to help, will even carry your items to your car. Delivery service is awesome. The rewards program is pretty robust, I just got a free bag of pretty expensive cat food. Be sure to create an account online and register your pets. You get a $5 coupon on their birthdays. (As of 2021) Remember, to qualify as a crazy cat lady, you must have a minimum of six cats. I only have five. Hashtag ADOPT DON'T SHOP!

We decided we wanted to get some pet parakeets and went to the store to get two birds and all of the supplies they would need. Rachel the co-manager was so kind and helpful in guiding us on what supplies we needed to have happy and healthy birds. In no way did I feel like she was upselling us. She genuinely cared about the animals we were getting and wanted to help us successfully take care of them and keep them.Kudos to her, and to the store for being passionate about the animals they sell and their well being.

One if the employees was SO helpful. He helped me with an a vest to lessen anxiety for my dog. He even showed me how to put in on Oreo. He was very soothing and friendly to Oreo. Without his assistane i would have bought the wrong size just going by weight. He showed me how to become a member and receive 15% off of my purchases. When I pulled up hr had already brought my bag of dog food and loaded it in my trunk. I also was offered help by 2 other employees and received good advice on catfood with specials dietary needs. The bones near the register are accessible to dogs which is good marketing however if a dog snagged one and had intended on buying one it could be problematic for the customer or the store

Purchased 100 guppies at $0.20 each for feeders. At least 15 were dead before getting home. Added them to a cycled tank with no issues and within 30 hours everything in the dank was dead. Called the manager who immediately told me it wasn't their fish that was the problem. When I began stating facts he said it could have been their fish and then offered me a 25% off coupon to restock my tank. I declined because of the service he provided. Why would I want to spend more money with them? Petco is where I'll go from now on.

I would absolutely recommend Pet Supplies Plus!The best customer service experience I have ever had - and I too work retail.I just recently adopted a dog and I came here looking for a harness and after I experienced the excellent customer service and viewed everything else they had to offer, I will be shopping here for my new family member, and the family cat.My first visit I was politely asked 3 times if I needed help by 3 different employees, one time I did need help, and then once I got to the registers even the cashier had knowledge on the product.Third visit I had to exchange a harness, when I walked in the door the cashier asked if I needed to return it, I said I need to exchange it and need help finding the right fit, and the cashier walkie'd someone to help me find the right fit for my small/medium 1yr old girl. I didnt wait longer than 40 seconds before a man greeted me. I'm not sure who he was(I'll check the receipt for a name as he completed my transaction and then I'll update or edit my review if possible) but he was very knowledgable and helped me pick one out and suggested bringing my dog in if this one doesnt work.Coming from the retail world, it's really nice to see a team that's so engaged in their customers.

The owner replied to this post saying we returned him malnourished and with shed skin on him but he had just shedded and we have pictures to prove that he was malnourished when we got him from pet supplies plus. The picture just added shows his left toes are black, which means poor circulation and that the bearded dragon wasn’t being held at the correct temperature. The time stamp for this photo is February 19, the day we received him which means his malnourishment started being we even laid eyes on him. We also already had a tank and the employee said it was fine, so either you’re wrong or your employee was wrong. We already had another bigger tank planned for the future as well since we did our research. As for the materials, I can show receipts of the multiple 30 minute trips to Quincy to buy crickets for food, the heated lamp, water bowl, etc… which I bought from your store.

Clean store, animal and fish selection isn't as good as it used to be. However it has just about every filter, food type, tank style, etc that you could want. The staff are always super friendly and very helpful.

The staff what are extremely friendly and helpful. Answered all of my questions and where very kid friendly. The Facility was clean, no lines at checkout, overall a five-star experience the moment we walked in until leaving. A++++ :)

Good variety of pet products! Lots of very helpful employees! Great customer service! And found my fur babies favorite biscuits! (All other places and online stores were out of stock.)
