I went to Menards in Quincy IL on 2/21/2024 I my wife and I bought some flooring and we needed a over the stove microwave range.we spoke with a representative there which showed us a whirlpool microwave 1.9 cubic inch for $268.00 we told her we wanted a stainless black one she had one delivered to the front we paid for it and took it home I went to install the next day and found it was not the right one it was the wrong color so I took it back to exchange it so they had the right one delivered to the front and when they rang it up it was $479.00 when I complained they found it was tagged wrong in the store and they wouldn't honor it so I complained to Eric the GM and all he could say is sorry I don't recommend any one shop at Menards when they treat customers this way I will never go back I recommend Home depot or Lowes they stand behind there stuff

Quincy Menards has the worst customer service. I bought a large item, asked them if they would load it for me and tie it down. They said yes they would. I get there pick it up and asked if it was secure and the guy says yes. Well it wasn't tied down, left on the pallet which allowed air to get under it and 2 minutes down the highway it blows out and scatters all over the highway. I called them and they said to bad, not their problem. I spend thousands of dollars there every year but I will never step foot in there again.

This was just like every other Menards. Selection was fairly decent for the items we were looking for (wood, nails, screws, stuff to help a friend with a ramp). Check out was easy and we didn't have to wait in line long.

The customer service was excellent. Three different associates took us directly to the item that we were looking for. We went back the next day to return some blinds and they said "we can trim these for you". We also went in search of some screens on sale. They only had 3 on the shelf. The associate took use to customer service to check the system. Nothing! He couldn't order them for us either, but he told us that we could place an order our selves. He even checked on his phone first to make sure.

Very disappointed with the service we recently received. We made an online purchase to pick up in store and long story short we got home and the whirlpool bathtub we purchased was the wrong product but in the right box. We called the store and fortunately they had one of the correct items in stock but we live pretty far so we had to make an extra trip to make the exchange. When we called the store to explain the issue they were pretty disorganized and didn't know what was going on and acted like it was a big inconvenience. I also emailed customer service and their response was terrible (see below)."I’m very sorry, but we are cash and carry, and travel expenses are for your account. We obviously have no control over where our customers live. It is your responsibility to assure your purchase is suitable for your needs before you leave the premises. Thank you for your patience and understanding.Thank you,Ray"I didn't expect them to reimburse me for my gas but a little effort and better customer service than I received go a long way. If I have to check every item and open every box I purchase from them because they don't have quality control then that's a problem. My husband does a lot of contractor work and we're doing a full bath remodel and usually do our shopping at Menards but definitely won't be returning after this experience.

I was looking for a rather unique product that i was unable to find. Carson was extremely helpful. Walked me to the section i needed, discussed options with me and even walked me to a second department more suited to my product need. The second person, Chad was also extremely helpful in determining the best option. I couldn't be more satisfied with my decision to go to Menards.

Normally have a good experience at Menards. But this time I did not. Went through the process to get landscape edgers. Went to the back counter got rang up. Went up front and paid. Drove around to the loading department and told them I need help. They said they would be right over and to go wait for them. After 30-45 minutes of waiting and nobody showed I managed to find a close to empty pallet, unloaded it. Loaded 155 of my own bricks, then drove to the loading department and found my own plastic wrap to wrap the pallet. At no point did anyone offer to help. So I’m leaving with sweaty clothes and an hour behind. Sam apologized that nobody showed when I mentioned it but that’s all I got. Thanks a lot guys!

Never buy anything substantial from Menard's. I purchased a sofa after getting it home saw it was completely mangled. The store manager agreed to have someone come pick it up and refund it. It's been just shy of a week and I've received no refund and am being told it was never brought back to the store. At this point I may have to pursue a charge back from my credit card.

Ridiculous layout.Better at Home Depot or Lowe’s. They value the comfort and convenience of shoppers.Whereas Menards seems more interested in deterring thieves than making their entrances and exits accessible to customers.

I have went to Menards since I moved here in 2011…I buy and flip place spend a lot of money here…I will no longer be going here after I spend my rebate…Manager is so rude…I ask him to show me where it says an item is non returnable and he says I’m saying this…This place has went down hill since the old manager left very very disappointed

Loved the merchandise but the delivery charges are way outta line 80.00 to deliver and 20.00 to take in your home, otherwise its left in your yard. What kind of business does that? Youd think for 80.00 dollars theyd take it in my house at a 600.00 purchase. Ridiculous!! Wont happen Again!!!

A little confusing were to go for the online orders. You have to go all the way to the back of the store to get it. Then you have to carry your stuff out and if you are buying other items the cashiers have no idea what is going on after you tell them. Other than that it is great.

Following COVID guidelines and the employees are always helpful whenever you need to find something! I have gone here many times for home repair and pet needs as well as landscape needs. It is a definite recommend if you ever need something for a home or garden project!

Just walked in store and had employee yelling at my daughter and I for not having on mask. She also was doing a huge hand motion making the scene even bigger. Would have been better to say it politely. Will never walk-in the store again

Menards always has decor and holiday stuff you can't find elsewhere, except maybe online shopping. I usually go in to get one thing and come out with several different things...😁👍

I wish i could give negative 5 star,I purchased $ 4700 special order and they failed to deliver that and when I ask for refund they just refund me $ 700 and they rest of the money in the rebate I have to use in store they can’t refund rebate money even though I didn’t use single penny of the rebate. Awful Manager & system.

I am NOT a big fan of Menards. Much like Wal-Mart, it is simply too big to find what you need efficiently, and employee help is scarce at best. However, this is the only home improvement store in 90 miles that had real honest to goodness SAMPLES of vinyl siding, roofing, and stone veneer. Lowe's and Home Depot were found seriously lacking!! For this reason, Menard's will get our business for siding.

I ordered windows and screens in May, got them installed in June. Still have not received the screens. They called and said I would have them the end of October, now its the 2nd week of November no screens. I was never told when I ordered there was a problem or I would have left my old windows in. At least I had screens with them. How much extra electricity I have spent this fall as not able to open them. Menards is a joke! Do not buy from them!

I didn't have a bad experience or anything, just don't like the set up. Prices are okay, people are nice, but the check line is weird. Kinda like a self checkout became lazy and now people have to stand there in the way.

Love shopping at Menards. Employees are always super helpful. The only thing I didn't like about this location is the lumber yard is around back with a separate entrance. Kind of tricky if you don't know how to get to it. Most stores the entrance is attached to the main lot.

I used to price compare Menards Lowe's and Home Depot Menards has best price almost every time, and there is never a shortage of staff members to help you out. If you stand in one spot for more than a minute or even look slightly confused they will ask if you need help. Top notch.
