I'm writing once again to tell you that I'm Commending Lowe's once more!! I just got off of the phone with Assistant Manager Jeremy that works at the Lowe's in Quincy, Illinois. He, I must say was the most pleasant, respectful, and efficient manager that I have spoken with in and exceedingly long time.I called to tell him about the other day when Teresa and Dan whom I found out his name from the Associate that works in Lawn and Garden today by the name of Timmy.First off, I must say that Timmy was very pleasant, very understanding of my position of wanting to know the name and knew exactly who I was speaking about.I also made sure that Assistant Manager Jeremy knew about whom I was talking about. I recommended that he needed to be commended each one of his Associates that I was referring to because has an amazing Team in his Lawn and Garden section. I also told Assistant Manager Jeremy that each one of those Associates need to be recognized. Not only for what they did for me but to show other Associates that this is the way you make money!You see, your Customer IS THE BOSS and if you look at it like that Lowe's will make money hand over fist!!I can guarantee and promise you that!!Another five-star review for Lowe's today for Timmy from Lawn and Garden on answering the phone and being of great assistance!! To Assistant Manager Jeremy for not rushing me and fully understanding how I wanted to properly give kudos to those that helped me.To Teresa and Dan for all of the help that they gave me!!They didn't have to. They could have been just doing just their job but they were going above and beyond like every Associate should and they treated their Customer. This Customer excellent five stars to each of them.🌟🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 × 4Thank you very much!! I will be shopping with you again!! Great Staff and Great Service!!

It's a nice store, everyone in there is polite, courteous, and helpful. You can always find an employee willing to guide you, and we were asked if we needed help multiple times. The selection is great, and the prices are right in line with the other stores. I personally think they have the best lumber here, also.

Favorite "Home Improvement" store out of the 3 and 1/2 we have in town. Staff is usually fabulous. Jeremy (manager/assistant manager) always goes out of his way to address me. Great guy, gives the personal relationship feeling. ALWAYS my first stop when needing something for around the house. Great value for this household.

If I could give Lowes in Quincy Zero stars I would have. My family is now 6 months into a brand new refrigerator that does not work correctly. Freezes all their food in the refrigerator. Lowes will not return it or exchange it. $ 1,500 lost at this point. All they keep saying is you have to go through GE and GE just keeps sending out techs that say they cannot fix it. They also bought a two year warranty, but still nothing is being done. We have filed a report with the Better Business Bureau. NEVER EVER buy an appliance from this place!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE from the lady who I did a pick up from. I'm done with Lowes.My daughter ordered two oak bannisters for delivery to the Hannibal Lowes. When we went to get them, discovered they were at the Quincy Store. My daughter then called and was told that the Quincy Store "fulfilled the order", and that we would either have to pay $79 to have them driven to the Hannibal Store, or I would have to go get them (my daughter doesn't have a truck). When I went to pick them up, I showed the lady the pickup authorization. She the lady was initially polite, pretended not to know anything about the order. She then asked if there was anything else. I said yes, it was a little frustrating that we couldn't pick these up in Hannibal, but I guess that's not your fault. She then went off on me, telling me in a very hateful tone, "I already told your daughter all of this. We fulfilled that order not Hannibal and we don't take stuff over there. If your daughter didn't like it, she could have paid the $79.00. " So she PRETENDED not to know what was up, when she had already been a jerk to my daughter! Unbelievable. Then she stormed off and a young guy finished the transaction up.

Customer service has spiraled to zero and waiting time is not believable I have brought thousands of appliances from quincy location and I drive 100 miles to use your store over last 20 years well no more I will give 4 or 5 hundred extra and use local your store used to be excellent I will no longer tell any one to use very very disappointed and also angry

Tried to exchange a newer Kobalt tool. But they didn't have any. And wanted me too buy another one. And bring old one back next time for refund !! Didn't happen. I'm 90 miles away. They suck.

Picking up our online order took FOREVER! We waited at the pickup counter for so long, with only one cashier working the return counter and answering phones. Once she FINALLY got to us (while I watch SEVERAL employees standing around talking or just seeing us and walking away as if they were ‘busy’) She told us she had to wait for someone else to cover her so she could go get our order. Then about 15 minutes later, she tells another guy to cover her so she could get it! We thought someone else left a LONG time ago to get it! WTH?!! I finally told them we could come back later as we didn’t anticipate a half hour or more just to pick up an order. Probably the last time I’ll deal with Lowes online ordering. Thankfully they aren’t the only lumber yard in the area 👍

Scheduled Sunday delivery and did not come with no call to cancel or reschedule. After we called to reschedule for the next day they came two hours before the scheduled time i had to leave work to receive my delivery.

Very mixed up on my client's order. Took forever to straighten it out. Stove did not come in on time. Ten days later, delivered without a cord. Did come on next morning with it. All dealt with were very nice and professional, but did not call when stove did not come in. Had to call them a few times to get answers.

Worse customer experience I have ever received. I ordered a gas range stove and fridge July 12th it was to be delivered July 29th. First they canceled delivery until August 2nd. Then the stove they brought had several dents so I did not accept it. They sent the replacement stove August 19th however even though I paid for recycle and install the deliverers said they could not unhook the old stove(I was never told this). I had to pay someone else to unhook and install the stoves. Now I wait until someone comes to recycle the old stove. For all this I was refunded the $19 install fee. I should have went to Home Depot.

This review is based on a young man that works at Lowe's in Quincy, Illinois on 9/23/22. We are from out of state and came in looking for flooring items. As we approached the flooring department, we noticed three workers sitting on stools around a computer chatting and giggling. They tried really hard to not make eye contact or notice us. Just beyond them was a fresh faced young man walking towards us making direct eye contact. His name badge said Trevon. He immediately asked if he could help us and was more than happy to! This really stood out to us as he could have also been like the 3 workers that tried to avoid us, but instead he was there, ready and willing to earn his money. It was very refreshing! Trevon did an amazing job and we appreciate his help so very much!!! Thanks, Trevon, hope to have you help us again one day!

Very clean store! Friendly and helpful employee's! Special parking for Veterans are super nice!!! Will be returning! This is my favorite hardware store in Quincy and they truly live up to their saying "Do more for less"! Keep up the good work!

We needed a new refrigerator as ours died. I went to Quincy store. Ordered a new Frigidaire and ice maker. It was a Sunday and I was told Thursday was earliest it could be delivered. I agreed and went up front to pay for merchandise. On Monday morning I called the store to see about moving up delivery. It was set fit Tuesday between 2:30 and 6:30. On Tuesday at 2 pm two extreme nice men delivered and hauled off fridge. However, the ice maker was not included. I called Lowe’s and they said I could come pick up ice maker or they would deliver it on Wednesday. After several conversations, I picked up ice maker at service desk and was told sorry. It’s now Thursday and I have hired a plumber to install maker and connect it to waterline. Lowe’s, you are not my favorite 😡😡
