Pros:1. The store's appearance inside is very nice.2. Wide selection of goods.( including bargain brands and high end )( deli, bakery and meat & seafood sections )( Hy-Vee Hy-Chi & Mealtime take out )( Carries imported and ethnic foodstuffs )( Big selection of spirits, liquor, beers and wine )3. Large but busy parking lot.( Please use caution and drive safely )( Everyone just wants to get home safe )( It is a public road not a race track )( Slow down and yield to others backing out )( Be mindful and considerate to those walking)4. Great local store (5 Stars) personnel, just was disrespected when talking to corporate folks... must have had a bad day... It didn't help mine either... There's a Wal-Mart and Aldies in town... Consider your competitors...I have shopped with you since you opened, remodeled, and threw out some of your best Butcher's in Iowa...

Great Store - just avoid the Chinese take out - Spicy Orange Chicken. It was awful and not like Hy-Vee. Purchased Aug 31. The rice not fully cooked and the chicken had literally no taste. Would have returned but am here for one work night in a hotel and too far to drive back. Such a disappointment.Aug 12 update: After seeing the store wanted to discuss this I sent an email over a week ago and no response so I think this is a store management issue. Had sushi in another HyVee recently and it was awesome!

Made a late night trip, which was very peaceful. The meat department was closed for the night, but one worker was kind enough to help us and got us the steaks we wanted.

The store seems to be always busy and crowded but the shelves are always well stocked with a great selection of everything you come to a grocery store for. It is brightly lit but the isles seem a bit narrow. Customer service is awesome and checkout is friendly and quick. It seems that they have a policy of hiring folks with various challenges which I applaud them for as well.

We shop Hyvee for the ground chuck. It's the best quality in town. We don't get much else because the prices are sky-high. And watch the prices at checkout if using your HyVee Perks. The last two times I've checked out, it's only taken a penny or two off the price, verses the advertised discount.

I always go there I think is accompanying with helpful people willing to help, when you can't find, something they will take time to help you alot of times I also get medication there as well.

Great store. Clean and offer a great variety of items including a hot and cold food bar. Staff is always courtesy, friendly and ready to help you find what you need or answer your questions. Fuel saver points are great too!

If you are shopping here for the first time, this place is a nightmare! The aisles are backwards, for one thing. They aren't numbered from 1, 2...., they are 9, 8, ...1! The store is organized weirdly, and the workers can't even agree where items are located at. Their hamburger isn't labeled with the percentage of fat they contain, either. If you are using WIC, I would say definitely not to shop at this particular store, as their system isn't working properly at this time for that program. On a positive note, they do carry organic meats; I saw organic hamburger and organic Lamb, and I bought the Lamb, which was very good!

Everytime I go to high v. I don't know the gentleman's name who works at the self-checkout but he's always so friendly. I wish I had his name. And then Jayden is always going the extra mile I see her doing things that most cashiers would never do. For the customers and of course always with a smile

Today I had to bag my own groceries at the check out lane because they were busy & didn't have enough staff to bag. Finally a customer service rep offered to do it, but after filling just 2 bags, she walked away (without a word) to help someone in the self-check out line. I finished bagging my own groceries. I would use a self check lane if I got a discount or extra fuel saver points, but since I'm paying full price, I prefer an employee do it. I know it's hard to find staff, but the new, multiple self checkout lanes & too few human checkers & baggers is a disappointment.

As far as overall selection hy-vee is the winner in these parts. Beware of their beef short ribs as they tend to cut the meat off and and sell a tiny sliver of fat on a rib bone :(
