Service here is always friendly and happy to help. Caribou service is good too, I'm from MN and love that Caribou Coffee is at this location.The deli food is delicious, love the specials...pot roast is fantastic.The parking lot, store, and bathrooms are always clean.Uhaul service has been slow the 2 times we have used it, though I don't think its their fault, it's uhaul's system.

I just had the best experience grocery shopping at this Country Market location. A big shout out to Jeff in the meats who talked hunting and fishing with me and then hooked me up with the best shrimp at a better price. I don’t think I’ll shop anywhere else while I live in the area.

I am new to town and absolutely enjoyed my first time shopping here.Update: I've been here 2 years and still love shopping here. A hometown feel with variety I can't find in the big stores. Perfect portions of meat and beautiful local produce for just 2 people.

Staff was great, polite. Prices could be a little more competitive, but can't they all? The selection is good, even better saving with the penny pincher and Max card. (They do not have to be used together.) A decent organic section, and they have the widest collection of liquor shots. Most for only a dollar.

After being out of town, we wanted to pick up a cake for our daughters birthday and have her name put on the cake. After having to find someone to help us, they said they don't staff anyone after 2pm. Well there are customer's that need things after 2pm.

The manager at the deli is rude, and vulgar. After she was rude to customers telling them they will just have to wait, we could hear her cussing in the kitchen. She is also rude and embarrassing to her workers.

Self checkout worse than Walmart. No one offered assistance and apparently you cannot use the bagging area to place your groceries when checking out without error warning messages popping up continuously. Won't be back to this store.

County Market 48th & Broadway is the finest grocery establishment in Quincy. This store in particular is a standout even within it's heritage of Niemans stores familiar to Quincy for the last century or so. Leisurely, relaxed atmosphere and an overall fun shopping experience. There is one apparent store wide issue that I'll discuss shortly.Departmentally, produce is always eye catching and well stocked. The bakery, lunch counter, deli, and specialty meats and cheeses are represented well. Their meat department and custom butcher shop is always stocked with unique and colorful ideas for the indoor and outdoor foodie. And the general shopping area is well thought out and easy to navigate.Its obvious this store takes special pride in its beer, wine, and spirits shop. Top shelf libation for the beer lover to the well travelled connoisseur. This department never disappoints and just fun to explore.If you enjoy comparison shopping or discovering new ways to spice up, change up, or shape up old recipes, this is that store. And after a lifetime of shopping in Quincy I have but one issue as predictable as the good qualities this store offers. Assistance is consistently at a premium. Good advice is available. Yet some associates while very helpful, seem rushed, even annoyed at times to go the extra yard for the adventurous eater or drinker.Will always prefer and recommend this store as it towers over other Quincy grocers in all other aspects.

Very nice staff and overall a very good store. It has a good selection of products at very good prices. They also do have a lot of coupon deals from time to time to help people save. It is also a plus here if you get the MAX card. A very nice hometown store with good prices.

This is our go to grocery store. We love the Penny Pinchers that we get in the mail. Their food is always fresh, and well placed and easy to find. They don't keep moving things around, so it's a pleasure to go in and shop. They have a large array of baked goods, cakes, wedding cakes, Donuts; you name it, they have it. Their produce is always fresh and their meat is really good as well. They are a little higher than Walmart but then again who isn't? (They're not a huge franchise). We will probably always shop there because their selection of food is superb and always fresh. They are a large grocery store which is good because there's just about nothing that you're searching for you can't find except for clothes and shoes. They're located in a mall so there's plenty of parking, and parking for the disabled as well. The store is clean and well-appointed. I would highly recommend shopping at County Market.

I hired county market for my wedding flowers and they exceeded my expectations! For the price I was very impressed! They were very easy to work with and did everything exactly how I asked! Would recommend them to anyone for floral arrangements!

This is the Place to go when Your wanting something that a typical grocery store wouldn't carry, If you spend all day in town Looking for a small something on your list, County Market probably has it! Locally owned and People are always SUPER friendly in helping you find WHATEVER you need and they will go to extreme measures to make sure you walk out 110% satisfied! Would highly recommend!

I probably would have given it 4 stars but they moved everything around and now I have trouble finding anything except the frozen products. And I have trouble buying any frozen products they have on sale cuz they stock those early in the morning & by the time I can get there, the shelves for the sale items are empty.Also, their prices are higher than other stores in town, except for items on sale. But they keep their stores very clean & the staff are helpful.

They are over priced. Which is too bad because their chicken salad is amazing but who in the middle class can afford 7 for like half a pound or less if chicken salad? Not me. Also their meat department has some really great options. Look for sales and you might be able to still make dinner for the rest of the week

Good sales but not all the time. Customer service from cashiers reminds me of androids programmed. Clean store. The upper management is very eager to help you find items your shopping for.

I went to the County Market deli with my children to get dinner and noticed that a man that I know has been arrested multiple times in very recent memory for violent crimes is still working there. I do not feel safe shopping with my children in a store that does not react to the violent crimes committed by its staff. I had to take my children and go. I will not be back and I despise that I can’t rate the store lower.

I picked up a package and it had a hole in the plastic. The Big Manager said that it was fine and would rewrap it for me! No way! Normally I go here for quality meat. I have been going to this meat department for ten years. I can't believe what this guy did. It was not my normal meat man...Jeff always treats everything with care and respect.

Pleasantly surprised! Nice floral dept. with pretty bouquets ready to go and nice gift items. Also liked the coffee shop just inside the entrance: enjoyed my cup of coffee on the drive home.

I have had issues with customer service in the past, especially after business hours.Today (Friday, 01/11/19) I went to check out at 2:18 pm.The cashier actually told me that she was going to let me put the bags in the cart myself, I asked her why I had to do that, she advised me it was either that or she could come around there & do it herself (heaven forbid, she actually does her job). She didn’t mean it though, I put my stuff in the cart & before I was out of the line, she called a bagger up to help with the next customer.It’s been quite awhile since I’ve been there because of service like that.It will be a long time before I go back.If I’m going to get discount service, I might as well get discount prices!

These two ladies in the Cookhouse Dept and hot and go Are a HOTMESS it’s Friday at 5pm and you know people want fried chicken and fish but you have none cooked up and get a attitude when people walk up to order ITS ridiculous that we are waiting 17 minutes for chicken and fish to be cooked😡😡😡

I'm wanting to eat more organic food and County Market is offering more. I like the Penny Pincher Coupons. My husband and I use the 48th and Broadway location. The employees are polite, friendly, and helpful.

The 5 stars is for the Quincy County Market at 48th street ONLY. They are great. Don't go to the one on 24th in the evening unless you just enjoy being "served" by condescending and unhelpful checkers who do not even acknowledge your presence, spend the entire time talking loudly to lounging co-workers while scanning your items and can't even be bothered to say "f*&k you" let alone thank you for your business even after you thank them. If this aforementioned behaviors had been a one off situation, it could be understood but I have consistently experienced very poor customer service at the Quincy 24th Street location. I do not patronize this location anymore. This is a strange anomaly for this chain as the employees of the 48th St location and the Hannibal store are exceptional. I commend hiring youth/young adults but if you are going to hire them, at least train them to be even remotely civil to the public and if they can't grasp the basics of acceptable customer (or even human) interactions, kick them to the curb.
