Got told to leave the property bye the owner because of drugs never rented a room at this hotel so can't judge a book bye it's cover and rented room online and the company paid the owner for the room that I never got to stay in so now owner gets to deal with BBB and Illinois attorney general that is involved in this situation because owner told company I booked it threw that I stayed there and didn't but owner still got paid and I had to rent room somewhere else Owner got free money from me because he said that I stayed there and didn't so he gets to deal with BBB and Illinois attorney general that are involved now so he can answer to them hope he enjoys dealing with them now and bye the way WAS NEVER TOLD TO MY FACE THAT WAS NOT ALOUD ON PROPERTY AND OWNS ANOTHER HOTEL IN PRINCETON AND WAS TOLD BY SOME PEOPLE THAT STAY THERE THAT I WAS BAND FROM THERE SO OWNER WAS RUNNING HIS MOUTH ABOUT ME INSTEAD OF BEING A REAL MAN AND CALLING MENoteworthy details: Likes getting paid for room that told customer to leave and then tell booking company that I stayed and got paid for me not even being there that's not telling the truth and taking customers money unbelievable

Perfect. Hotel was spotless. The room was well equipped with a fridge, desk, easy chair and ottoman. The hairdryer worked!! There was even tissue in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable and room attractive. And, they let me store a full cooler full of frozen food on their big freezer. They also had a continental breakfast of coffee, muffins and healthy yogurt. Reallqy nice manager. We will stay here again!!!

The entire place smelled like cigarette smoke even though we were in non-smoking rooms. It hits you when you walk in the front door. In our room there was an electric strip hanging, in use, beside the mini- fridge with multiple items plugged into it. It seemed unsafe. The bathroom was very tiny and the sink area was as well. Beds were clean and comfortable although there were obvious signs of wear when you looked across the bed.

We booked here for two nights, got there and found out our price online was more expensive than the actual room price at the hotel. There was a hole in the bathroom door, some wide flooring cracks, and leftover food that had some mold on it on the floor. Beside all that it wasn't a bad place to stay if you just needed a room and a good bed. If your going here for their room and breakfast, don't, it's literally just strawberry yogurt and banana muffins so bring drinks if anything!!!! Decent hotel, probably won't stay here again though.

Nice place to stop over during a long drive. The front desk agent was a nice fellow. Not crowded on the Sunday I stayed. Basic breakfast is offered but gets the job done. The AC unit was a bit noisy, but that was the only issue I had with the stay, not enough to complain at the time. Everything else was good. There is also a Road Ranger gas station with a convenience store a short walk down.

We slept so well here after a long day of driving. The bed was one of the comfiest hotel beds I've slept in, my partner who usually tosses and turns actually slept through the night and woke up in the same position he fell asleep in which I've never seen happen lol. The curtains also darkened the room almost completely which was wonderful and rare! Very quiet space with beautiful country scenery. I liked that this was away from the main part of town. Rooms are average and dated as most highway hotels are but was very clean. Did some yoga and stretches laying on the carpet and I can't say I feel ok doing that at every hotel!

Rooms reasonably clean, but are in need of remodels and upgrades. Mainly in the bathroom area, shower curtains could be easily upgraded, they are stained in most rooms. The WiFi is either great or you might as well plan on reading a book, and there is no planning on which day is which. The customer service is beyond great, could not ask for better. Since COVID-19 the breakfast is pretty lackluster yogurt and danishes. Thanks Trump.....

They stay itself was not bad other than the fact that the staff just walks in your room without knocking, more than once!!!! Gave me the feeling that they were waiting for us not to be there because my car broke down on day 2 so it wasn't at the hotel.. all of the sudden someone just walks in our room!!!

My wife and I travel a lot. We have been to this motel dozens of times. Not once have we ever seen nor heard of ANYONE here complain about a bedbug. I don't know who you are, but if you got bitten by a BUG, its because YOU brought it in. Hope we NEVER get your room..the place is VERY CLEAN. GREAT SERVICE AND STAFF. The continental is a variety and best of ALL, the PRICE IS GREAT...so if your looking for a nice, quiet, clean and reasonable priced place to stay...THIS ONES FOR YOU....

Stayed overnight. No elevator for the second floor. Toilet was clogged. The pool is still "closed" for covid. The "bottom" sheet was just laid on the mattress and not tucked in as is the standard in all hotels without fitted sheets. The internet is not good enough for streaming. The bed was a bed, and the door locked. 2 stars.

I have stayed at this motel time and time again. The desk clerks are friendly, the rooms are tidy and clean, and the owner is always updating the rooms with things like new carpets, irons, etc. Best of all, the prices are cheap. There is also an indoor pool which is great to relax. In the mornings, there are a few options of things to munch on before heading out. I would highly recommend this motel compared to others in the area.

Easy to get a room late at night. Not busy at all. Average price for a single person. Basic room. Non-working refrigerator, however. This was not a problem for me though. Room was clean and sufficient for a night of sleep in order to get back on the road.

I wish I could leave 0 stars! I'll start with the one good thing, the parking lot was well lit. Okay.. Now the rest, it started with the man who checked me in, he didn't say a word.. Not a hello when I came in, a thanks when I was done or anything inbetween.. rude! The entire hotel, halls, room, and lobby stank bad! Our toilet had a plastic drink lid floating in it.. After we removed it and used the bathroom.. The toilet did not flush! There were cheerios on my bed. I will not go back.. I had reservations for my return trip but have cancelled them already.. I'd sleep in my car before I stayed there again.

It is a good motel for a reasonable price. They might take their vacuuming a little more seriously (the carpets), but otherwise it is clean and comfortable. We will probably stay here again when we come this way again.

Bug bites room 112. We stayed here 3 nights. The staff was very nice. The beds were comfortable. The only complaint is that my wife got bit by something on our 3rd night. The bites were all over her back and itch like crazy!

The man at the counter was nice. Down hill from there. We pulled about a dozen long black hairs off the sheets, carpets looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in a while. Loose Cheerios in the corners. Burned out bulbs. Tight, cramped bathrooms. Almost nothing appetizing for breakfast. The TV remote had something sticky that refused to wash off. No USB ports in the room. We came in late and just decided to put up with it because it was non cancelable reservation. In general Central Illinois doesn't have nice lower priced rooms, you will get what you pay for. We keep hoping that all those long hairs belong to housekeeper and dropped while making the bed.

Clean enough. Hasn't been remodeled in years. Breakfast lacks any protein options. Pastries and cereal only. Housekeeping is rude and bangs on your door at 8 am Saturday morning and complains you aren't it of the room. If you have left anything on a bed, that bed will not be touched. This includes a pillow brought from home. Stingy with towels.

We got out smoking room!! The lady working was very nice...rooms clean and plenty of towels. Good tv. Don't know if we will ever be this was again but if we are I would stay with them again.

Not a Super start breakfast, the orange was brown and the bread was dry. Fruit? Sure If all you like are crappy cheap apples. It was fairly clean, the room was average. But the price was right. Would I go back? If I had a choice between the Princeton Super8 and prison it might be a toss up.

It's a Super 8 motel in middle America so it's what you'd expect. Not too bad overall and gentlemen at the front desk was very helpful and the place was neat, obviously many many people smoke in this neck of the woods so the room options in that case were quite limited, but for the cost it was a sacrifice I was willing to make in this case..

It's not no Ritz Carlton but it shure is a nice place to get out of your truck if you have been traveling..clean sheets and a warm place to sleep. Best part is the guy up front. Super funny hand he keeps coming out with joke after joke.
