This place is the bee's knees!You walk in and you're greeted by a beautiful woman, (cause all the ladies that work there are beautiful) and then there's so much to look at and many options to choose from no matter what you're looking for and everyone that works there is soo helpful, polite, and courteous. Plus they have fresh popcorn too, so there's that. Yeah. Go on in there..don't hesitate.

I am absolutely thrilled with the help in this store. It is outstanding with all of the new shelving and items that are available! I walked in today and told the young man what I wanted. He cut and threaded the pipe in the pics below. He made my plan come to fruition! Thanks Princeton Ace hardware!!

Got in and found what I was looking for relatively easy and with no issues, then proceeded to the check-out line and was to register in no time at all. I was greeted by a courteous checkout Clerk who was proficient in their job and was out the door with no hold-ups.

I was at the store this morning to try to find a replacement hot surface igniter for our furnace because the heat went out. Although they did not have the exact plug end that I needed, the guy working in the department (didn’t catch his name) was extremely helpful and I was able to use a very similar part and splice together the original plug end to it and we have heat again! Thank you!!

Special thanks to Lindsay today January 31st 2020. I walked in and was happily greeted and directed to the Key area. I handed Lindsay the very difficult task of taking my twisted up key that was in 2 pieces and she was able to make me a new one. She never blinked an eye and got it right on the first try. I was back on the road in no time. Thank you.

I would have gave a 5 star rating but they really need to get rid of one of the workers because she is not AT ALL POLITE TO THE CUSTOMERS!!! SHES VERY VERY RUDE WHEN ASKING HER WHERE SOMETHING IS OR IF SHES KNOWS IF THEY SELL THIS OR THAT, AN SHE WANTS TO TRY TO RUSH ME AN ASK WELL IS THAT ALL AN HUFF N PUFF. SMH Otherwise everyone else was polite and made for a retail buisness.

Everything is organized, and all the employee's are always so helpful.Always get all the help I need,especially when I try,and do all plumbing, (minor)repairs myself to our home.The young ladies,always make sure they put me in touch with someone there that can literally take me to exactly what I'm looking for,and even some of the customers are willing to jump right in and answer questions, and or give great advice.

Oh how these local farmers love this Ace Hardware Store. Parking lot fills with the trucks of farmers and contractors. The shelves are always well maintained. Fully stocked are the shelves. Plus there's always a knowledgeable person ready to help you.

This location has a fantastic location of pretty much anything. From the most obscure bolt to various sizes of furnace air filters to wood for smokers. Their selection is truly impressive, which is rounded out with great service from the individuals who work there.

Now that the store has longer hours it's my go to place for hardware and lawn care products. It has a wide selection and reasonable prices. Special orders are easy and fast (it may help that the regional warehouse is nearby). Friendly staff.

I went in today to my neighborhood ace in Princeton Illinois to get a tub faucet replaced w a brand new one . Toby one of the gentleman working today found me a new faucet but told me he wanted to try something first the only thing wrong w my faucet was the plug to go from shower to bath was stuck Toaby went to the back worked on my faucet for a moment and fixed it for me .. Toby knew I was short on cash n wanted to help out ... This man went above n beyond his job performance and helped me out . I would highly recommend Toby for all ur ace hardware needs .. Thank you Toby!!!

Ever spend 2 hrs at one of the 3 large hardware stores and still not have what you need when you get home??
