Switched vet places recently, and Dr. Stuart is great! The vet assistants are so caring with our dog, Maverick. Dr. Stuart is takes the time to do a proper examination, and you can tell he really cares for the welfare of animals. Dr. Stuart also takes the time to explain things, so we understand the issues our dog might have. Reasonable prices.

Animal Care Clinic was absolutely the best during a very difficult diagnosis with my cat. They were very supportive and understanding during the whole process. They genuinely all care about the animals they work with, even if it was their first interaction with the animal or not.

They got both my cats in right away. Called me and explained what was going on. Other vet copped attitude so called ACC and got in as a drop off which I greatly appreciated. Love my animals and hate when there's something wrong.

I do not recommend this place. The staff are rude, and these people do not follow directions. There have been a few negative incidents that have rubbed me the wrong way with these people. I will only speak of one of the incidents in order to keep it brief. My dog was given a 1 year rabies vaccine after I made it crystal clear that I would only allow the three year vaccine. It was even documented in my dogs file, not to give the one year vaccine. One year later, these people were hounding me to bring my dog back in to get another vaccine. One of their rude, nasty receptionists had the audacity to threaten me. She said that she would have "The Pound" come to my house and force me to give my dog another rabies vaccine if I refused to bring him back into their office for the shot. The staff is very unprofessional and need training. If you care about your pets, go elsewhere.Fast forward one year later. After cutting ties with this place, I am still feeling the negative effects of having chosen such poor quality vet care. I needed to use my pet insurance for an issue that my dog had. Since this was the very first time I filed a claim with the insurance, they wanted to do a thorough investigation on if my dog had any pre-existing conditions. They contacted the previous Vet, which is this place, and my insurance company informed me that these people entered several notes into my dog's file three years ago (he was a puppy at the time ) They claimed that he has "slight calculus" on his teeth. My dog doesn't have calculus on his teeth, but that's not the point. The point is that these people NEVER mentioned this information to me but entered it into his file. Now, my insurance company is giving me grief about coverage when it comes to anything teeth related. Does it make sense to enter a medical issue/concern into a dog's file but not inform the owner? Does it make sense to have to find out from your insurance company that a medical issue/concern was entered into your dog's file INSTEAD of finding out directly from the vet who entered it? Talk about incompetence. This just confirms that we made the right decision to get rid of them. I am just sorry I subjected my poor dogs to terrible healthcare. All animals deserve better.

The Animal Care Clinic is one of the top 3 clinics that has ever seen my dogs.Top Notch Staff: Everyone I interacted with, from the front desk staff to the techs and Dr's went out of their way to make sure my dog was given the absolute best! He even got some extra snuggles after surgery which is what he loves the most! The Right Technology: in house labs, x-rays, and wonderfully equipped surgical suite - they have everything needed to care for your petsA Great Value: I expected my bill to be at least double what it was!Thank you to Dr Lynette and Dr Stuart and all of your staff for taking such amazing care of my Jake!

I have taken my cats to Dr. Stuart for the past two years, and I am especially impressed after a dental procedure one of my cats had done today. He explained the procedure so clearly and kept me informed as to how much had to be done as they went. The cost was much less than I expected, and I really appreciate that they accept CareCredit. I would recommend them to anyone!

Unfortunately my only time visiting was an emergency visit that led to putting my dog down. But through that time, they were all friendly and welcoming. They even went out of their way to all sign and send a card in condolences to losing my friend.

I can't recommend this place highly enough! The staff are all friendly and competent, the nurses are very good with animals ( our scaredy cat dog fell in love with Linda right away). We have only had the pleasure of meeting one of the doctors so far, but I have to say I am impressed. He treats our pets like people, and he is very dedicated and knowledgeable. I really feel like he sees every pet that he treats as one of his family.

Dr. Stuart is a wonderful and caring veterinarian. Successfully removed a cancerous tumor from 1 cat's nose, an epulis from 1 dog's gumline, and met us in panic this Sunday a.m. after another dog ate and drank some things that she shouldn't have.Staff is great and knowledgeable.I can't speak for anyone else's experience at this clinic, but I wouldn't trust the care of my critters to anyone else.Fast forward a few years and wouldn't take another pet there. Fewer hours, no boarding, don't perform requested tests, and animals come out sicker or deader than they went in.Please do not take your pet to this clinic. They have changed for the worse in the last 3 to 4 years.

Very kind, quick and very reasonable!!! Only took us 1 1/2 hrs for our cat, Oreo, took him in same day we called and had results within 45 min. Of him going in for his exam! Staff is very respectful and polite also! Recommend for sure (:

Excellent, prompt care. That were able to get us in right away for an injury to our dog. We didn't get to go in due to Covid, but the vet called my cell as soon as he had examined our dog. Rates were very reasonable, much less than what we are used to in AZ. Excellent private bark park for boarded dogs!

Prior to my most recent experience, I would have recommended this vet. Dr. Stuart is knowledgeable, informative, and seems to genuinely care about all his patients. However, I discovered this only apploes to "good" pets.I had to quarantine my dog there for 10 days due to his rabies vaccine being out of date, which I realize is my fault. My dog is almost 10 years old and for the first time ever, he bit someone who tried to pet him. It was a minor bite, not the point, I know, but still! What about the 10 year history of being friendly!? Anyways, someone called animal control and I chose Animal Care for the mandatory 10 day quarantine because my experiences had always been good before.I was told that I couldn't come visit my dog because of covid. I asked if I could come see him outside, and I was told, "I can't tell you that you can't, but I don't think that is something we should start scheduling." I asked about the times they let the dogs outside, and she told me. When I dropped him off, they again told me the approximate times he would be let out and what kennel he would be placed in.I assumed this all meant that if I were lucky, I would be able to catch him outside sometimes so I could comfort him, so he would know that I didn't just abandon him, because he's my boy and I know he doesn't have freaking rabies! I showed up the next day a little before noon, he wasn't out yet, but some of the others were so I found a spot out of sight of the other dogs so they wouldn't freak out and bark. I gave up after about 25 minutes and left. I had some other shopping to do close by, and simply drove back around before I headed back home, just to see, not even getting out of my car, and I was stopped by the manager. She said she called the police on me and that I wasn't allowed on the premises until I picked him up. Dr. Stuart accused me of trespassing and lying about the fact that his staff said I could come see him. W.T.F...!?I called daily to check on him, they always said the same thing, "He's eating, drinking, and acting normal." Shout out to Diane, who was the only one who was kind to me and sympathetic to fact that isolating my dog from any form of life for 10 days was traumatizing to him, and if I am to be honest, me as well. Other than that, my experience was terrible. The staff was very rude and clearly did not know what they were talking about by misinforming me and outright lying to me about how my dog was actually doing. When I picked him up, not only did they give me the run around about how soon I could pick him up, my dog, my boy, had visibly lost weight. He looks to be 10 lbs lighter, it's immediately noticeable to everyone that sees him. And he had tear marks around his eyes. In 10 years, my boy has never had tears around his eyes. He came home and drank like he was dying of thirst. Clearly he was not eating and drinking and acting normal!! They wouldn't even let me give him a toy or a blanket or anything that smelled like home, even though I was originally told on the phone that I could!! At one point I was told he was enjoying the company of the other dogs...I was like, really? Because I had to pay for an extra kennel so he wouldn't be next to anyother dogs, so I really don't see how he is enjoying their company. Lies!!I'm really not trying to be over dramatic. I don't do drama. I also never write reviews because I'm too lazy and can't be bothered enough to do so. But I will never use this vet again. I am so incredibly disappointed in Dr. Stuart, whom I held in such high regard prior to this experience. And I have never wished to bodily harm someone as much as I wanted to the extremely rude woman I spoke with on the phone "several times" with and outright lied to me. FUB!

I've had many animals over the years and this is the best vet ever. Between the emergency visits, monthly grooming, and casual check ups they always make me feel like apart of the family when we come in! Super blessed to have them in our life and our animals lives.

We drove an hour with one of our pets for our FIRST visit as just a wellness check to see if we wanted to establish care/ liked the vet, as were relocating to Princeton. Walked in (both my husband and I masked - no one inside was) to shocked staff, "WHY is that door opening?!?!", that asked for our name and told us to go wait in our car. That was our first greeting, at our nee family vet? No "welcome" or "hello" or "can I help you?" *NO ONE INFORMED US THEY WERE CURBSIDE ONLY.* I called them from our car and explained we drove an hour for this appointment to meet the vet to decide if we want to establish all our pets here. They said they are still doing curbside and sorry they can't help us. They have "no idea" when they'll be open again but WE can keep calling THEM to check. The mask mandate is over. We are vaccinated. Animals can and have been getting COVID. None of the staff inside were using any protections. When we returned we realized the parking lot was FULL of people sitting in their cars, in this heat. Needless to say we canceled our appointment and drove an hour back home with a now utterly stressed out cat. Worst customer service I have seen anywhere in the country. Very sad. We'll never know if vet is any good or not because of the staff. A good local vet is one of the reasons we are buying a home in Princeton. :(

This Veterinary Clinic by far is the best in and out of the area! They do treat animals like people, and they go above and beyond to help any situation. Our dog broke her leg last year and the care and treatment from everyone out there is remarkable. Our pup couldn't have gotten into better hands in her time of need!! We recommend this place to the fullest!!

Don't really see a lot of loving and carefully placed interaction. When I asked about how to make an appointment they asked if I was a member with them, which I wasn't but I just wanted to check it out and I explained that. The lady on the line laughed like she had heard enough and said "Yeah, we don't do that here, bye bye now!" And hung up on me. I'm sorry but if they won't allow you to go see what they have to offer then either something is going on they don't want you to know or they don't want your business if your a not already a member.

Called after hours because there was something wrong with my dog and the Dr. refused to see us because of covid and told me I should try the clinic in Peoria even though I live less than 1/2 a mile away from him and was an obvious mess. Thankfully Bureau Valley Vet was able to see us so we didn't have to go to Peoria and Dr. Reed there took fantastic care of my animal, we were in and out with meds within 20min and my good boy is perfect. No thanks to the doctor at animal care clinic. I will never recommend this place and being such a well known member of our community I certainly will be sure to tell everyone to stay away from this vet. If you're looking for a good vet in Princeton this is not the place. I recommend Bureau Valley, it's affordable and they care about your animals.

The staff are always kind and treat us (even the humans) like their family. The techs and Docs are kind, patient, and do their best to figure problems out even for less-common pets. We love this place!

Highly recommend this Clinic and the vets there. We all hear horror stories. Those are the ones we remember. Dr. Steward has the most up most compassion for animals. I also had to let my dog cross the rainbow bridge. Why because I made my the chose I knew she was suffering. The care that was giving to her was excellent. This was years ago and I still trust taking my animals there!!!! And will continue!!!

So thankful to have gotten ahold of this doc since the other vet was taking too long. He was very good with my puppy that had to be amputated after another dog bit him. Very thankful he left his home and family when he really didn't have to do save my puppy. Thank you so much

These people genuinely care about you and your pet. After not bringing my dog to be seen in a possible emergency, I got a phone call two days later just making sure she was okay. So very kind.

Both vets are great people who are amazing with dogs - their lives revolve around their own dogs. They treat pets with the respect and care you'd give a human family member. Very knowledgeable, and I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. They also offer dog sports training in Agility, Flyball, Obedience and Dock Diving, and are very involved in performance competitions, dog shows, and rescue work.

Terrible service. Called ahead about my kitten choking and throwing up fluid. Had to wait in line behind two people paying their bill before they would even get a put in a room. Then after waiting for the vet to come see us all he had to say was there wasn't much they could do for us. He took x rays discovered it was pneumonia and sent a sample to a lab to make sure it wasn't infectious (we had her brother and sister at home) and we had to ask him to do that. He said the best course of action was the euthanize the cat. Maybe with a little time and care she could have pulled through, but that's just my opinion. If anything it seemed like we were a burden getting in the way of him going home. After it was all said and done it cost us 500 dollars to get a X ray and have him put my three pound kitten down. I would never recommend anyone take anything be it dog, cat, bird, lizard, etc. to this vet. Find one who cares about animals and not getting paid

We brought our dog for his rabies shot. We called the Veterinarian office when we arrived and someone came out and grab our dog for his appointment/shot. While our dog was being checked out the doctor called explained what he did and if we had any questions or concerns about our pet. A very good experience. 5 STARS For The Animal Care Clinic.
