Always have an amazing experience here with the staff. I have yet to run into someone not super friendly and helpful. Also knowledgeable about the product they are selling. Prices are pretty good too!

Friday at 10am absolutely no staff medical line took 20 people that came in after me while I stood in the line first person on recreation side for 1 hour while the staff chatted took breaks only 2 cashiers all while I stood there 1st in line they were absolutely the slowest without shame. There needs to be a better system in place for the weekend especially!!! I never have this issue at any other place I go to Posen is the absolute worst I will never go there again. Also people were using other people’s medical card and they still excepted it is that not illegal!??? I’ll never spend a dollar there again. The worst

The cashiers were absolutely rude and took their sweet time helping taking breaks while a line was out the door only 2 cashiers on the weekend is just poor service! Also medical cards are being used in other peoples names while they still do not have a system for the recreational line and med line. I won’t ever come back here I’d rather spend more money than deal with the staff at this location!

Unfortunately, picking zero Stars was not available. That is truly what they deserve . The company allowed me to be assaulted in their foyer while an employee and the "security guard" stayed safe behind the glass the whole time. They have on more than one occasion served recreational patrons ahead of me and then attempted to defend their actions instead of fixing the issues the complete disregard and disrespect ended today for me with jen from corporate conducting herself like a child with zero customer service skills I strongly recommend steering clear of this circus

Try to edibles and my daughter took one and said it worked very well. Do good business. Take your ID with you and have a great time. I don't smoke cannabis but I think the edibles is good for certain conditions and they very polite. So have a great day

I have been coming to Windy City cannabis for over 4 and 1/2 years now and the service has been excellent and today one of the bartenders named red really helped me out and the manager t and Tina and the entire staff is wonderful and they've served me well and they've helped me out. Being a medical patient I really like the ease of Windy City Cannabis. Budtenders are knowledgeable about what strains are best for my chronic pain. What I do not like is they only have 2 medical discount days a month for patients most of us are on a fixed income. So it is hard to afford if you run out before the first Tues and last Wednesday of the month. I seen that in their non medical stores med patients save 30% everyday those are hundreds of miles from Chicago. 😐 I just try to make last between visits.

Terrible experience at this store. Do not shop here. I was told they didn't have what I reserved online when I showed up at the store. So basically, they either kept my stuff for themselves, sold it to one of their friends instead, or just didn't want to honor the deal. Clearly, there is something shady going at this location. I live over an hour away, and that makes it even worse. Don't waste your time with these clowns.

Love this place but when they don't open on-time, a txt or website post would be awesome. Instead of driving there to see a sign on the door saying they aren't opening for 2 more hours. I've wasted a few breaks and trips on this.

Windy City Cannabis is the place you need to go to be blown away! Gretchen and Tina treat you like royalty and makes the entire process feel nothing short of stupendous! Their fantastic personalities coupled with their knowledge of the products cause for an awesome unforgettable experience. I don't know if I'm high off the customer service or the reefus but either way everything was excellent. lmfao

I would give this pathetic place negative stars if possible, i came here for a specific strain, at a specific price as advertised on their pos website. Despite "reserving" an item, & After driving in the cold & waiting in line they tell me they're out of it, when I attempt to get a different strain they tell me they're out again, this goes on 4 times in a row in one night with 4 seperate strains, & 3 different brands! The whole time their website is advertising they have it in stock. This is beyond unacceptable, it's not hard to update a simple website, or keep track of basic inventory. Every other dispensary does it, this is clearly on purpose to lure people in there. They Repeatedly Refuse to honor their own Sales. This is not the first or second or third time this has happened to me. AVOID this place at all costs, they'll purposely keep sold out listings up on their website to trick the customers into thinking they have that in stock. What kind of store doesn't honor its own sale? I Will never come here again, despite shopping here regularly since they opened. I'd rather drive the extra distance to mission dispensary or bodyandmind dispensary & actually get the product that i reserved (and at a better price)I can't stress enough how awful this place is!!-1/5 stars.

Where to begin.1) Be sure to check the THC level of the product you purchase against what the website advertised. I'm a Med patient who recently purchased Mac v2 with 28.14% total THC. Then saw same website advertise the same product strain with 31% total THC. Ordered that and brought it home before checking THC percentage, which ended up being the same 28.14%. Honestly, it felt like an intentional bait and switch.2) My husband (also Med) and I have been burned by the caveat on their website that they can't guaranty what a client ordred will be there when that client arrives. Why? That doesn't make any sense to punish everyone for the sake of some flaky clients. Selling and keeping customers happy is how to make money -- which appears to be the only reason they are in this business as it doesn't appear they believe in and/or live up to any ethos or altruistic mission statement of helping people with medical issues initially stated when this industry began in Illinois -- and they can always make their money selling it the next day. Too much work maintaining a website? That website is the bread and butter of your business, WCC! Maintain it properly! So, if you are traveling a great distance, call before beginning your journey because what you ordered may not be there upon your arrival.3) Illinois Medical is like a bad joke as they don't consistently grow strains that are known for their medical attributes such as Harlequin 1:1 vape, which I could use at work because it gave relief without the high. The growers are all chasing the latest thing with new dumb names instead of maintaining tried and true strains that have their own unique properties4) This dispensary doesn't have curbside anymore, so you have to go into the building and pull down your mask and deal with people who seem to be demoralized, unhappy employees who don't enjoy people socially and are unable to manage a smile and who no longer do the basic quality control checks to see if the THC level or what you ordered is the same as what was pulled from the back. WCC feels like a McDonald's without the old staples just pushing people through to get the cash without investing in their customer base to create a return customer.5) What happened to the former employees who had amazing energy and people skills? All of my favorite budtenders are gone since it was bought out by some other company. What is the criteria for hiring people? No older bud tenders? When did that happen? There used to be diversity in age as well as everything else. Maybe have someone older budtenders with medical issues who would be more caring and compassionate to Med patients. I always tip $5. Why, I don't know because this last budtender I dealt with didn't quality check the THC levels.6) Instead of moving to a building that had better parking and access, someone decided to just expand this location. How about moving to one of the many EMPTY former bank buildings in this area with a preexisting, built-in DRIVE THROUGH instead of expanding in a location that has pushed out the surrounding businesses including a disabled adult day program. Do they care? Would they even know where they are located? They had to visit to formulate the location's expansion plans. Is this place locally owned? No. I'm sure there are other other vacated bank buildings in Homewood. If not, they could have considered the old US Bank building at the corner of Vollmer and Governor's Highway.Question: What does Medical mean to dispensaries in Illinois? Evidently not what it means to the Med patients. I am disappointed by this buyout, expansion, and loss of friendly knowledgeable people who could at least convincing pretend they cared.
