I found out about Bark About It this past summer at Rib Fest in Chicago. I had taken my dog to Rib Fest for training. He is highly anxious, especially when it comes to noise and sometimes other dogs. He had started getting better prior to the pandemic, but the isolation made him regress. Over the last year, my vet has prescribed him some anti anxiety medication and that has been hugely helpful, especially in the house. But outside of the house, no matter how often I work with him, his anxiety threshold is low and once he reaches his limit, I have to take him home. So I went to Rib Fest knowing that I would probably be their only a shirt time. But then I found Bark About Its booth, shortly after arrving and they told me about their CBD oil. I have tried CBD on him before and it worked slightly, but not well and it was expensive. But I figured why not give this oil a try and it was amazing. Instead of the maybe 30 minutes I would have gotten with him, I got 5 hours. He was calm around all the noise, people and other dogs. It was an amazing training session. I highly recommend their CBD Oil. Like all supplements, CBD is not regulated, but this CBD, is really pure and locally grown. The owners were really knowledgeable and friendly and know the people who grow the Marijuana plant. Until now, they refused to stock CBD because it's hard to find a good honest brand, but they found one and best of all they ship. While the Oil itself is expensive, it was $40 when I bought it, it was worth every penny knowing that I can work to increase my dogs anxiety tolerance. I highly recommend this store. They are true animal loving professionals.

Great store! They have the best treats, toys and cute dog accessories. The owner is super friendly and helpful. It's wonderful that our small community has a place like this!

Visited this store based upon the treats they sell. I was met at the door by two barking mastiffs. One of the dogs had a service dog vest on. The handler was on the phone taking a personal call at the counter. Eventually she became frustrated with what I believe to be her son as he was trying to negotiate the cash register. Each of them bickered at one another other while I waited to buy treats.

What a great little store! Every time I'm in the area I stop in and get some chicken feet, liver, and this time dried fish! I had the pleasure of meeting the owners the other day......great folks! 😃
