Bought 6 white pines last year 2023. 8-9' tall. One tree the top was broken off, didn't realize until I was back home.I planted them immediately that day, with a excavator and watered as per his direction. 1st tree dead 2023. April of 2024 have another tree that is dead and a 3rd tree starting to get brown "dying". There is 2 of the the remaining trees with new chutes. He did tell me there was a 20 % possibility of loss, when I purchased them. I was willing to take that gamble. Today when I called he was much more descriptive of buying smaller pines and survival rate was much higher. People buy the larger trees and that's what they want. Well had he explained to me as he did today, I would of not taken the gamble. He asked if I was over 50 I said yes, go with white pines he said. So I drove 150 miles round trip with a trailer, used a excavator to plant immediately, Paid him cash. I'm not very confident that I will end up with any trees that survive, Maybe two trees. These trees were not cheap, all planted in same soil. Not low ground or in standing water, good drainage. " Why would you Sell Trees to the Public knowing that the equipment he uses is not large enough to remove the root system to transplant trees this size. Why ? " GREED " I don't what to to tell you, he said Today. If it makes anything better He Said, he planted 12,000 seedlings and only 9000 lived this year. Boo Hoo. I guess he sells Beautiful Christmas Trees according to his reviews. Selling Christmas trees are simple, there dying the day you drive off for the holidays, but there gorgeous. Selling trees for transplant as I got caught up in......well I don't know what to tell you " His Response" and for me the best part is can take 2 years, Probably less of watching your trees die and your time and money...My Response is he is a "THIEF" Put Suspenders on your pants when dealing this guy, he will pull your pants Down.

Good selection of sizes and varieties, even balled and burlap for later planting. A lot of acres to search for the perfect tree and a wagon ride back. They also sell concessions to benefits Toys for Tots and Trees for Troops.

Fantastic place to get a Christmas tree from. Very organized, acres of trees. You can cut your own tree, or choose from precut trees.

Have been going here for 8 years. Only 1 hour drive from St. Louis. Kids Love the wagon ride to get our tree. Great team of workers. Super pleasant and Christmas atmosphere. We get our tree the weekend after Thanksgiving and have had great results as long as we watch the water level.

Super cute tree farm. We found the most beautiful tree seconds after we jumped off their hayride. They loaded the trailer with our tree, gave us a tag and a matching number so our tree could be identified. The crew took care of everything. They had a machine to shake off lose needles and then baled the tree. We pulled our tree around and then they expertly secured it to our roof. Super friendly and efficient. Would recommend to anyone.

I take the whole family every year! Love it! Santa usually there, they drop ya off with hay ride, you find a tree cut it down. Then, they come pick ya back up. Shake and rap the tree up. Hot chocolate and food available for purchase.

My family went to this Christmas tree farm and found an awesome, well shaped tree that was good sized. They gave us a ride out to the trees we were wanting to see and everyone was very friendly. Once we picked our tree, we cut it down and the drove it and us back to the front to get it shaken out. Then we checked out the gft shop and got some hot chocolate. We had an excellent experience and will definitely be back next year! The tree we got was very healthy and well cared for and lasted well past Christmas.

We have attended Daniken, the last three years. We started a new family tradition and absolutely, love going every year and cutting down our own Christmas tree. I grew up with an artificial tree every year and a real tree makes your Christmas feel complete. Everyone is very helpful and will assist you. Thank you.

Really cool and fun we have been going there every year that we have been out here we love to cut down our tree and carry it and watch them shake the loose branches and tie it down and out it on our car lots of trees to choose from nice service and extremely nice people
