New food menu has a lot of options, the HOF burger was excellent. Many tasty beers and extensive beverage options.Awesome selection of rotating craft beers, nice laid back atmosphere. Friendly staff and a cozy bar. Good for groups, larger tables if you have a crowd. Live music and events. A destination and worth a detour from Springfield or I-55.

Great experience and fun atmosphere. Stopped in to check out the beers and they had live music playing. Was busy but not crazy, stout and IPA were very good 8/10 the rest of the beers were good as well. Not a huge cream ale guy but they had some very good options on tap. Ended up grabbing a growler of the imperial stout to go. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and want a great beer!

As a beer enthusiast I was pleasantly dumbfounded to try the vanilla dream and orange dreamsicle beer. Absolutely the best I have ever had and I have had a lot of different beers.

Fantastic brewery with great beer and great food! The owner is incredibly nice and knowledgeable and an overall great guy! The fact that this place is almost always packed is a testament to how good it is. They also do tours of the brewery if you make an appointment ahead of time. Highly recommended!

We love attending trivia Wednesday nights! They have a selection of beer, wine, liquor, and food to enjoy. We also like the outdoor seating area on nice days and the board game selection.

Leaving 5 stars because I like this place, the food, and the drinks… but heaven forbid you bring 20 people and a cookie cake because it was a birthday… Almost everyone ordered apps, food and had 5+ drinks each. The staff already made us move outside, then an hour later we get lectured by the owner/manager of the food side that they’re a small business and they make desserts and should’ve called ahead to ask… Big turn off after coming here for years. That kind of attitude makes people want to take groups of 20 for a bday gathering elsewhere. Just a friendly note. I’ll be back, but that was not a great experience.

This place was a delightful surprise. My family and I were looking for someplace decent to eat before going to Theatre in the Park at New Salem. I happened upon this place while strolling the town square and was drawn in by its charm. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the special brews were out of this world. I had the Double Bean and will definitely be back to try more!

Not our first visit but it's always fun to come here. Mike the owner is a great guy and today we had Graham and Cassie serve us several different beers. They were helpful, attentive,and awesome to talk with. 85 miles one way for us but their beers and this place is well worth the drive👍

We really enjoy this place. They have great brews and a nice atmosphere. We sat outside and appreciate that they have expanded their outdoor seating area due to covid. We felt very safe.. Currently, they no longer share the space with a restaurant, but you can bring food from nearby restaurants (pizza, Chinese, fast food).

Very Interesting place. Not something that you would think you might find in Petersburg. I'm not a fan of beer, but their beer is very good. The food was equally good. Things that you need to know that will help you experience. The seating is very communal. Many big tables that encourage sitting with strangers and mingling. The doesn't seem to be any servers. The way you order food is you go up to the counter and they bring to your table. Good idea to get a spot to sit first before you order. After you order at the counter you go to the bar to get your beer. Good idea to know the menu before you go. They have board games and fun things to do when there. Overall I had a great time here and really enjoyed the food as well as the beer. Have to come give it a try

Worth the drive.... from anywhere!This brewery has great wine, food and of course beers to choose from. It's atmosphere was a perfect blend of cozy, industrial and old school. Whether you get the flat bread pizzas or paninis, beer or wine, there are several satisfying options. Great for a lunch for two or party of 40, this will soon be your regular hangout.

Great place to eat and get craft beer! We loved the cauliflower crust pizza! And I love the Double Bean Dream Cream Ale it's soooooo good! I actually think it's the hazelnut that makes it smell and taste good.♡♡♡♡Fyi, tried it 1st in Decatur, Burger Theory.

Beer is good. Staff is friendly...but the bathroom sink situation is horrible. You know how when you come out of a public restroom after washing your hands and, as you grab the door handle, you think to yourself, "I wonder if that last person washed their hands before touching this handle...?" Well, at Hand of Fate brewing company...there's no question...The sinks lie outside the bathrooms...which is nice to be able to public shame the people coming out because you have to wash in front of everyone...so everyone knows if you didn't...the problem with this setup, is that once you're inside the bathroom and you touch that disgusting handle and lock to lock the door...THERE'S NO WAY TO CLEAN YOUR HANDS AFTER THE GROSS HANDLE AND BEFORE TOUCHING YOUR OWN GENITALS!!!

Was here this last weekend from MN and was pleasantly surprised by this small town brewery. Beer was great and food was good. Loopy4Lupulin is a fantastic beer that I wish I had closer to me so I could regularly get. Tried quite a few beers and not one I didn't enjoy.

Hand of Fate is really prepared for Covid 19. Servers are wearing masks. Outside seating was great. Social distancing inside. I felt completely safe. This is our first time out since pandemic. Delicious beer. Fantastic service. Our favorite brewery! Compliments to Mike - owner and our favorite server, Cassie.
