You know what made my VERY FIRST Dairy Queen experience excellent....Clayton! His friendliness & professionalism after a long day made it woth the Chicken Strips! After a loooooong day of traveling and not finding an open restaurant anywhere I made my way to Dairy Queen and from the first question about recommendations to the discussion about how my day went the young, ambitious & super friendly Clayton made this experience memorable. Went there twice I. 2 weeks back home, first time the chicken tenders were definitely under warmer TOO long. The second time food was so fresh and oh so nummy for our tummies!Always greeted with a friendly smile, customer service is great!

Updated review. Today had poor service and poor food portions through the drive thru...employee could care less at the window when we questioned the portion sizes...customer service was horrible***most recent visit...no one on their phones. Excellent customer service...friendly...food tasted good. Changing stars but will leave the below as a reminder.......***Everyone on their cell phones when we walked in. Had to go to the service window to get our own food. Customer service is not what it used to be. Different times and expectations of customers is hurting the service industry. Just put the phones away and do your jobs.

I went there at 8:15pm, 45 minutes before close. Pulling up, I could see all the workers talking and sitting at tables. I could see them throw their hands up once they noticed we pulled into the lot. We ordered our food and it was terrible. Both blizzards had almost no toppings in it. It was pretty much just vanilla ice cream in a cup. The gravy was the consistency of water. Literally. And the fries tasted old and soggy. For the price of the food, this shouldn’t be an issue. Never eating at that location again.

Stopped after a long day for something to eat and my mom left her purse. We got home a hour before she noticed. Called up there and the young man behind the counter had got it and put it back for her. It's so nice to know good people still exist. Thank you. Food was great as well.

Amazing workers :) great food. Could tell they were enjoying their job and making the best out of any situation. I heard one customer scream and cuss out a worker and the employee replied with a smile on their face (I wouldn’t have). The patience these people have when faced with horrible attitudes car after car. 10/10 recommend.

Mostly people too worried about their workplace romance to care about your order. Been here many occasions and 7/10 times they won’t even butter a piece of toast for a chicken strip basket, they also won’t bother to tell you they are out of items when ordering and would rather give you your food missing those items. Leads you to believe they aren’t even “out” at all. Even if they really are out, it’s misleading to not say anything to the customer while they’re ordering. Not worth it.

Pros: Blizzards were yummy and my flamethrower burger was good.Cons: Most tables needed cleaned. Water all over the floor even going through the wall from freezer leaking. Wife ordered a chicken sandwich with cheese. Hers came missing lettuce, tomato and mayo as pictured. When she addressed this to the worker she was told it doesn't come with that although it's shown that way on the menu board. She was given a small styrofoam cup of lettuce and a few mayo packets. Employees need better training.

Went here recently, I ordered the banana split. It was the best ice cream I've ever had. The bananas were perfect, pineapples and strawberries fresh. Ice cream wasn’t melted either. I was blown away!! If you drive through/visit Petersburg, make sure you go to the Dairy Queen here!! SO GOOD

Came here at 735pm. Drive thru. Auto.ated message said please order, we did, no response. Backed up drove forward to trigger drive thru again. Same thing. Pulled up to the window, the young girl looked startled and walked away. Waited a few minutes. When I was about to drive off another girl popped up apologizing that nobody was wearing a head set???? Idk, it's the third time it's happened at this location. Why should I care though, they obviously DO NOT.

12-30-18This place mean is clean and has polite workers. Good service today. Place needs adult supervision, training for employees (one said they sell it the other said they don't) and cleaned! Not understanding if it's branded Dairy Queen shouldn't they all sell the same items?

I have had THE most terrible experience as far as their blizzards. They have always been great up until the past year! I just got a turtle pecan cluster and asked for extra goodies in it and they gave me something with small amount of pecans and the rest white icecream and my sons blizzard he got the mint brownie and when u open the lid it looked like green and white swirl it was not blended good at all!!! Soo disappointed!! If im gonna buy something i want it right!!..i should have known better to go to DQ in petersburg because its been like this last few times we have been but it was close I am not getting icecream there again!!!

Stopped here on the way home from Springfield to get ice cream and use the bathroom.The ice cream order took way longer than I thought was reasonable given the number of people working and the number of customers in both the drive through and inside (more employees than customers).The bathroom was disgusting. My 5 year old started dry heaving once the door closed and he refused to stick around. I've been in cleaner and less disgusting portable toilets at summer festivals. I told an employee about the state of the bathroom but they didn't seem phased by it at all.

Went there on 2-1-2021,drive through of course. One of my sons is a very picky eater. He used to be able to get a grilled cheese at DQ ,it is the only thing besides French fries he would eat there. I asked if the drive through guy could see if the manager would make a grilled cheese kids meal, and just charge us for a different kids meal. Because I know they still have the same bread and cheese. The manager was unwilling to help so I took my business elsewhere.

Average workers. Cake display was a little bland in my opinion, but not bad. You can almost tell the employees are just there for a paycheck. One employee turned my Blizzard sideways instead of upside down. Close enough I guess? You guys can do better than that!

The cashier was very nice. When he asked a TM on backline about a pup cup (for our dog), someone answered (sarcastically) that dogs can't have chocolate. That was extremely rude!! Not sure that we will go back there again.

We love stopping there when we travel, but the last 2 times our order was not correct when we opened our sandwiches. We didn't make them correct it but it is frustrating.

Alright place has all high school kids working there so it's a little chaotic they get orders wrong more often than not if u ask for say a plain burger you usually dont get it. Almost every time I order food here it's that way. It's about what you would expect from a place that seems to be ran by teenagers

We ordered a couple of sandwiches and fries with drinks, we waited for 30 minutes for our food which was never brought to us. Finally we walked back to where we ordered and our order was sitting on a counter behind the cash register, it was cold.

We went here for lunch today and lets just say that are server was so rude (Alexis). After we left I went back in to get ketchup and she was like what do u need almost yelling at me and i was like excuse me, but anyway there food isnt as good as the Dairy Queen where I live and they have good servers.

Employees need better training. Mushrooms on burger were cold and extremely too much mayo on burger. Plus teenagers running in and out of store while we are trying to eat.

This place is phenomenal I eat here way more then I should. The people that work here love this town and they love it's people. No better place to eat after church that's for sure.
