This place is improving with time and I'm happy to say that more times then not they have exactly what we are looking for. The staff is always friendly and the store is clean and well kept. They don't carry everything that you will find in your Springfield County market locations but for a small town necessity I have complete respect for the things they do for the citizens of Petersburg!!!

So thankful for our small town grocery store and the employees are all very friendly and appear to be happy to have jobs there. My only complaint would be that I wish they'd stop selling brownies in the deli because I'm wildly addicted to them. 🤷‍♂️

Great place ran by local people. Very friendly cashiers. I asked if I could get ten ones for a two dollar bill; no problem. This is a great small town grocery store with excellent fried chicken.

Out of towner HERE! visiting LOCAL family and friend. Staff were great!caught the deli slippin'… iles 5, to my surprise VERY COLD. my opinion the meat department is BUSTIN! Local vegans and their secrets. great place wonderful presentation! 5 all day!!

Cashier's are very personable and the store is convenient. Don't expect large selections and keep an eye on sell buy dates. Parking lot is a pothole mess and the store has been ready for a remodel over 15 years ago. DG has better values.

Unless u need an item desperately, save yourself some money & shop elsewhere. Most items are greatly overpriced just bc of the convenience of having a small town grocery. I've noticed more often than not the products they have on sale are either expired, soon to be expired or completely out of stock.

It's okay. It'll save you from a trip to springfield. Employees are nice. This place could use some competition, though, because the produce can be a little expensive and some shelf items (spices) seem to be constantly out of stock or not offered at all.Also, check your receipt. Almost every time I I go here something rings up different from its displayed price. Each time it's like "oh it's only 80¢ nbd..." And you just forget about it. However, after the tenth time I'm kind of over it.

. County Market is very convenient and it has great sales. The workers are always nice and willing to help. I always save a lot of money by buying my groceries at County Market. The coupons in the Penny Pinchers ad are excellent. The digital coupons save me money also. I am very glad that there is a County Market in my town

Popped in here for lunch meat and chips. The employees were friendly and helpful. The store was clean and the employee at the deli was helpful and clean as well. And yes, that is important to me. He washed his hands before he put on gloves to get my food. Cleanliness is something I always look for.

While I am thankful that this store is still in Petersburg I think it could be improved upon. There is a distinct smell that sticks to your clothes once you walk around in there. The selection is not that great. The prices are considerably higher and I have mistakenly purchased food that was already expired on more than one occasion. (Check the expiration date!) The people are nice and like I said, I am still happy they are in Petersburg because they are the only grocery store.

County market usually always has nice employees and helpful ones! Food is always fresh and store is always clean. My only complaint is the parking lot in petersburg il! Its so cramed and hard to park! Need more space!

This is a full service market in a small rural community that is gentrifying off the perils of a nearby city. There is even a Butcher. There is everything you need, even good produce. You will not find most specialty items like prosciutto. Friendly & plenty service. Friendly customers. EZ parking.
