Good selection of hardware and building supplies. Light selection is much better than home depot. Good prices and 11% rebate if you plan your purchases with the promotion. Associates are helpful and usually able to help you with any issues you have.

What’s the Menard’s Jingle? “SAVE BIG MONEY AT MENARD’s!”One of our favorite places to shop or get lost for an hour or two. We can always find ways to save at Menard’s. There are other “box stores” but NONE COMPARE! Not only finding ways to save but finding what we need. FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL NO PRESSURE SALES STAFF. ALWAYS GREETED WITH A SMILE!

Stoped in on 8/16/23 at approximately 6:30 pm. Purchased a bag of dog food. It rang up 71.98. I let the cashier know they need to move it or change the price on the shelf . It was priced at 49.98. Or 41.98 . I don’t remember the exact now . The stack of dog food I pulled from was on a shelf that was eye level.Price on the shelf arrow pointed up so it was pointing at the stack where I got the bag I purchased. She called the front end manager. I tried to explained to the front end manager I was not asking for a reduced price but letting them know they are all priced wrong.I offered to walk over and show her. Well the front end manger would not even acknowledge I was there. Would not speak to me. Called someone on the walkie in hardware . They responded with its 71.98 the ticket arrow is pointing up and down both. Again it very well my on a different section of the isle but there is a stack of the one I purchased that is priced wrong. I again told the front end manager I would walk over and show her. She walked away like I was not even Speaking to her. She proceeded to to go to the front desk and talk about it . I stopped at the front desk and again and tried to explain I honestly was not looking to get a reduced price just thought they would want to know to move it or put the correct price on the shelf. Well again the front end manger walked away and ignored me. So now I’m upset so I did in fact stoop to her level by letting the clerk at the desk know it was terrible customer service . I was not nor did I ever ask to pay less . I was just trying to be nice and let them know it needs to be moved. A simple . Thank for letting me know , or I’ll be sure we check it out would have been all that she needed to say. But to not even speak to me . Very poor customer service .

Great store with an excellent rebate program and sales. The employees are generally very knowledgeable and helpful. If an employee can't help you with your questions they find someone who can. The only place we go for all home improvement and yard needs.

Our family loves visiting this store! We always have a pleasant experience, but our last visit was exceptionally special. The day prior, we had driven out to a tree farm only to be met with a “Closed for the season” sign. Our little boys were disappointed, to say the least. We didn’t want to wait a whole week to visit another farm since they aren’t open on weekdays, so we decided to go to Menard’s because we’ve gotten great trees here in the past. We found the perfect one for a great price. Our boys had so much fun in the process, and to make it even more special, one of the employees brought out Christmas stickers for them to choose. I had to include a picture to show the excitement. He found the glasses at Menard’s as well (at such a great price for a rambunctious little guy who broke his last pair 😂). And to the cherry on top? The employees wishing us a Merry Christmas. Not that happy holidays junk, but Merry Christmas. It may not seem like a big deal, but it was to us, and we just want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and Merry Christmas to you all. You are a special group of people, and your work, smiles, and kindness are truly appreciated. Needless to say, we’ll be back again very soon!

I know many don't leave reviews and in today's world there are fewer who have the right knowledge. So I would like to thank Dana in the plumbing department for trying so hard to find a part for a shower door. It's wonderful to see there are workers who care.Thank you

Staff has been there for years. Very knowledgeable unlike some of their competitors. Very clean store, someone is always around to answer questions. Guard shack even knows where items are located. They also donate quite a bit to our local community and charities.

My husband and I spoke to the same girl twice about bathtub surrounds. She was rude and gave us wrong information about the surround we purchased. She said it could be installed to wall studs or lathe and plaster, she was wrong! Took us two weeks to finish job since we had to tear out all the lathe and plaster and put up green board. We couldn’t return surround since the flex stone surrounds are “SPECIAL ORDERS”. So we were forced to do a way bigger project than planned. Don’t trust employees, they give wrong info!!

The store is clean for the most part. On occasion you have to maneuver around stock that hasn't been put away yet. The staff is friendly and usually helpful. The selection is very good and the prices are competitive. Like a lot of places the weekends are pretty busy so if you can go during the week it would be easier to get in and out.

I have never had to pick up a piece of lumbar before and Asaiah looked at paper a said wait here I’ll grab it ! I feel costumer service is overlooked a lot . But I have to say it was not that day ! We are there at least once a week for"something". Occasionally you get great service, but most of the time it seems like I find a young kid that acts like I'm just annoying him but this past trip was the worst. I couldn't find one person that knew where picture wire was and the kid that actually did wouldn't make eye contact with me and acted as if I interrupted him during his lunch or something.Then I was getting cabinet magnets and counting out 23 of them and this older employee came up to us and acted like I planned on stealing them. Had to head over to counter tops and low and behold he shows up there. By no means did we look like we needed any help at that point, he once again asks if we need help in some accusatory tone. We say no, he leaves and 2 seconds later he sends a young kid over to ask us as well.I'm guessing my 2 year old being with us and somewhat loud is enough to make us look like we're up to something?!We spend thousands of dollars a year in this store. I shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable.Great selection but a lot of irritating staff.

this place always seem to have what I need from basic fine woodworking tools to a new patio set so I can entertain friends. I only wish I could find help when I need it and associates didn't treat me like I am bothering them. otherwise, great store that has almost anything.

They almost always have what I need at consistently fair prices. After researching appliances, wiring several homes and taking care of my own, This store lives up to their advertising. This one (Peru, IL) is always well stocked and clean with friendly staff.

Big box hardware store. Everything here is 11% off if you fill out a rebate and then you'll get store credit in return. In addition to the usual hardware supplies, Menards also has oh well stocked pet care section, as well as a small grocery section.

Never any one to assist. Store has multiple registers had three open on a saturday. Great place to for young kids to work as they won't be asked to much other than walk around and avoid customer's .

The store was easy to navigate, and the products I was looking were easy to find. A little cluttered in some shopping areas, lots of employees standing around in groups of 3 or more, without offering help even. Overall though, a nice shopping experience.
