Can't express how helpful and kind Cora is. I've been to the photo arena twice in the past week. I had no knowledge of how to do what I needed done. Not at any time did Cora make me feel illiterate and she handled my request with knowledge and patience. She is a top notch employee.

Whoever just answered the pharmacy phone at Walgreens on Western was UNBELIEVABLY rude. This particular Walgreens and it's staff have horrible customer service skills , even management! Well the female mgr anyways. .. Not sure what's going on at this store to make everyone so miserable but it's just ridiculous.

I would like to commend Dennis (the lone cashier up front on Sunday before Valentine's Day) He remained calm while a rude and demanding customer yelled at him about getting the other register open (he has no control over that). Even after the stocker took pity and stepped in to get her out of the store he moved the rest of the line through courteously and efficiently. There's a certain lack of mutual respect some people are having trouble showing each other lately, even at work we're all still human.

Walgreens is a good place to shop for incidentals. Plus the pharmacy is accessible in the store and by drive-thru.

Pharmacy really doesn't deserve 1 star. The staff usually doesn't acknowledge you for a while. And it seems each pharmacists can choose how many days in advance they will fill the script. Since November it's been filled between 4 to 5 days in advance. Now I'm being told it's 3 days in advance. And since last month was filled 5 days in advance I can only get it one day in advance thismonth. No consistency how can it change each month. I think it depends on the pharmacists. Does Walgreens have have no set procedure to follow . Really disappointing because of insurance we have to use Walgreens. Other wise I'd be back with CVS much better service we received

I am typically very generous and positive with my reviews as I'm in healthcare myself and know how so many things are driven by surveys and reviews but I feel sorry for elderly or people on fixed incomes getting medications that aren't covered by insurance here. I recently had an ointment ordered that my insurance didn't cover. It was going to be 120 plus dollars at this Walgreens. I called Hyvee and the pharmacist quoted me a price of around 15.00 for a bigger tube with a Good Rx discount. . No mention AT ALL was made by Walgeens of a Good Rx discount.. When I asked about it I was told I'd have to look it up and pursue that on my own. I asked Hyvee if I needed to submit something and they said " no, they would take care of it" I don't mind even submitting things but I feel it is a very simple thing for Walgreens to just mention that there is a HUGE discount with Good Rx but no mention about Good Rx was even made to me. It's no wonder Walgreens has already been in trouble in the past for price gouging.

This rating is for PHARMACY--overall, the staff is usually unhelpful, lazy, and not very knowledgeable, especially when it comes to their own CORPORATE POLICY. They DON'T follow up with doctors or insurance companies in a timely manner like they're SUPPOSED to. They also seem to have a problem keeping common maintenance meds in stock. There's really NO excuse for those things.

I did a curbside order , called about it due to not getting a conformation email after an hr i called the store to ask if my order was confirmed the lady that answered said she was short staffed and didn’t know if she could fulfill it . I asked her to just cancel it and she just said ok and hung up . Like didn’t even try it was only 3 items . So disappointed.

Has to be the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Kept telling me they were out of stock in prescriptions and that they would be filled and to call back tomorrow, except that went on for a week.

Walgreens on western is not the location to go to when they clause their pharmacy and people need their medication and other Walgreens won’t fill it is ridiculous to be shut down for 3 days you could at least have techs in their giving prescriptions that are already filled
