Pharmacy Closes at 10, can't shop here anymore. Will switch pharmacy. Your service and quality does not matter if you cant shop there in time. Really disappointed. The back of their lot by the drive thru is full of trash. You would think they could send an employee to clean it up. Clearly they like being 0 effort. Somewhere that sells medical supplies and medication should have a basic standard of cleanliness.

If I could give them zero stars I would. It is the most incompetent pharmacy I've used and the people in pharmacy are all rude. I have asthma, I will get an alert it's time to refill my inhalers and every single time I will get a message my prescriptions are delayed for one reason or another and when I do get a text my scripts are ready for pick-up 9 out of 10 times when I go to pharmacy they have no idea why because still not ready. I'm moving all my scripts to another pharmacy and strongly suggest not to trust this place with your health and well being.

Was told they wouldn’t fill a prescription due to the price being too expensive even though I told them I wanted to pay cash. Who are they to decide if I can or cannot afford a medication? I switched all of my scripts over to Walmart and just had that prescription filled for $5. You’ve lost my family’s business Walgreens. I also want to mention that they delayed one of my refills by 10 days after I ordered it a couple days in advance for when it was due. My doctor had to write a new prescription just to get it filled sooner since they messed it up so badly. They also gave my husband the wrong prescription once as well. The names were similar, he took the medication for a couple of weeks thinking it was a generic form of it only to realize it was entirely the wrong medication!

Need to tell cosmetic counter employees to stop bothering customers while they are trying to shop! I was trying to compare products and the woman would not leave me alone. I was prepared to spend $100+ on Olay products, and left empty-handed. People can see the sales! No one needs constantly reminded of them every 2 minutes! Ask me once if I need help. When I say no thank you, leave me alone! I will never again return to this Walgreens location for my cosmetic needs

Worst pharmacy there is on earth. They dont care if ur dr or insurance approves your narcotics they will hold your medicine for no reason. Then hang up on you when u call them after u go through the call center morons that never get it right

This place use to be so convenient when the pharmacy was open 24 hours a day. They hired a bunch of blue hair people and none of them want to work so now the pharmacy is never open.

Someone from Walgreens called me at 3pm today telling me I had a prescription for pickup that would be put back if I didn't get it soon. I told her that I still had some left but would pick it up. She said it would be ready in 20 mins but they were closing at 8pm tonight due to being short staffed. I arrived at the drive-thru at 6pm and it took a long time to get up to the window. When I spoke with the young man at the window he told me I had no prescriptions ready and the one in question needed a doctor's authorization before it could he filled. I explained that the store called me and told me to pick it up. He asked if it was definitely them and not CVS or some other store. I told him ive never used CVS in my life and gave him the number that called me. It was indeed their store number he said. I asked who called me from the store so I could find out why she told me to come get the medication. Apparently she got off work an hour before. I drove all the way there for no reason and wasted gas. I never reached out to Walgreens to inquire about that prescription so it's really odd that she called to remind me to get it on a day they were short staffed and when it's not even available for pickup without contacting my doctor. I'm very annoyed because I never would have even left the house today if she didn't call me. I think maybe it is time to switch to another pharmacy.

My doctor or wrote me a prescription for Paxlovid because I have a moderate case of Covid. I am 26 years old with no preexisting health conditions. Walgreens has refused to fill the prescription based on needing a kidney function test- a test I’ve never had a reason to take. Receiving my prescription via tellahealth, there’s no way I could’ve even been tested for this by my provider. I drove around to multiple local offices to get this test and no doctors offices locally would preform a kidney function test for me. My doctor told me that he’s never run into this issue in years of writing this prescription all over the country. And it is especially odd to be worried about kidney function in a 26 year old patient. He essentially informed me he thinks the Walgreens is lying about their policy. The pharmacist was very condescending on the phone and even transferred me to another person and ended the call before I was finished speaking. Paxlovid is most effective when it is taken as quickly as possible after Covid diagnosis. Walgreens denied me this very important medication potentially worsening my case of Covid and delaying my treatment and negating the advice of my doctor. I simply had the prescription transferred to CVS and it was ready to pick up in 30 minutes. At the time I needed the prescription Walgreens was the only opened pharmacy. I will contacting the district managers office and possibly pursuing legal action for denying me essential medication in my time of need.

There is always a wait. It's just a necessary evil. They have what you need and they know you need your meds. So they seem unbothered that the wait times can be exorbitant. The rest of the store besides the pharmacy is well kept and has a friendly staff though!

Terrible pharmacy! Rude and unprofessional staff who constantly misplace prescriptions. Misplaced my wife’s prescription, had to call dr who verified indeed the pharmacy lost the script. They then repeatedly submitted the order to insurance who eventually denied the claim because of the number of times Walgreens submitted it. It’s a very expensive drug so I asked if they would still charge us as if were a covered script, considering we have been going there for years. They then could fix it after the weekend, since their multiple mistakes caused the delay. The manager said she didn’t know how to get ahold of the pharmacy manager and we would have to wait until Monday. This drug is a scheduled drug and patients who mis a day let alone 3-4 days, struggle greatly when without. There is no excuse for the conduct of this pharmacy and its staff. I am filing a complaint with the state and with Wal greens corporate.

I've been coming to this area location for about 3 years now and usually have a good experience!! There are and have been some A$$ clowns working there but they usually don't last long and one still works late nights!! I've had good experiences with the Pharmacy but apparently, after reading some reviews, action needs to be taken immediately!!

I have had nothing but bad experience after bad experience here. First, my doctor called in a script for me. Two hrs later, they said they never received it, even though she spoke to an actual person. She then called back and had to order again. The next time my doctor called in the same script, I was notified via text that they were out of stock of the medication completely. When I spoke to the pharmacist to ask if they would be receiving any of the medication the following day, she said “I don’t know. Maybe.” When I asked her if not then what I should do, she said “wait or have your doc call it in to another location, there’s nothing I can do for you.”Very rude. I won’t be using this location again, my doctor was super unimpressed as well.

Endless wait. If you've ever had the pleasure of visiting the EP Walgreens Pharmacy, I commend you for your attempt at customer satisfaction. On my first visit, there were over 27 people in line ( car and inside). I assume this reason was due to the popular location. However, upon my second visit, when my prescription was still not complete I knew this was an internal issue. Please keep in mind this was 3 days past my appointment but no it was still not complete so the very kind teller asked me to circle the building in Blizzard light conditions to wait in the now three long car line but yes I did achieve success I did get the medication merely 78 hours later I was successful thank you Walgreens pharmacy

Unprofessional pharmacy experience..... Went to pick up prescription. Gave brand name and technical drug name. Pharmacy tech said she located it and would fill it. I got home and discovered they gave me a med that was completely wrong. I called back upset about it and was told to calm down, as it wasn't intentional and people make mistakes. Really?! Giving the wrong meds as a pharm tech is a HUGE deal! He said I could come back and they'd fix it. I let him know that wasn't convenient and would rather pick it up at a pharmacy closer to my work. He offered to call it in first thing this morning. I went to pick it up and it wasn't there. I was told I would have had to call in the request myself and the pharm tech at the original pharmacy (East Peoria Walgreens) wouldn't be authorized to put in that request. These people apparently have no clue.... How are they authorized to handle medications if this is how things are run there. Ive never written a bad pharmacy review but that experience was overall ridiculous.

I am so frustrated with this pharmacy. My insurance switched so I had to change to Walgreens. This location never has my order ready and I always have to wait. When I did the phone refill today, it told me my meds would be ready at 3:45. It is 5:25 and I am still waiting. Sadly, this is what has happened every time. The drive through is always busy and if you try to go inside to cut the wait you end up waiting inside. It is time to try a different Walgreens.

This used to be my favorite pharmacy, but the last few years they have been as bad as the one on Scenic Drive. My latest experience is that I have been waiting 5 days for them to contact my vet's office to get a refill for my dog. I called on Tuesday to get the refill, on Saturday I called the vets office & they still had not received a request from Walgreens, so my vet resent it. On Monday morning I called & they said it was waiting to be picked up. No text, no phone call, nothing, even though I am set up to be notified when prescriptions are ready. Thanks a lot Walgreens!

I'm a health care worker helping out in the area and just got out of work. Went to pick up my prescription after 7pm when this was supposed to be a 24 hour pharmacy. Nothing was posted at the front doors showing closure and only cones blocking the drive thru lane. Nobody contacted me in any manner to inform me I had to get my medication before a certain time.

Fast pharmacy, if prices were better it would be 5 stars. But with there prices compared to other pharmacies they are one of the most expensive if you have to pay for your scripts. GoodRx helps a lot. But even with that one of my scripts cost 45$ but I could get at other places for 15-22$.

This rating is for Express Pay only. Walgreens Express Pay (at least at this location) is a joke. Such a great premise: "Pay in advance and merely go to the Express Pay line and pick up your order. No waiting."They have a line at the inside counter marked "Express Pay Only" but allow any customer to use that line. Consequently, you have no express pay option. When only one station is open and that's the line used, good luck trying to cut in front without feeling like you are cutting the line. Either use that lane for Express Pay or take off that service promise. And, yes, I've conveyed that to Management at this location on more than one occasion. Walgreens: Fix it or Dump it.

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Every month they have issues filling the same prescriptions, every month they fail to run it through my insurance company so after waiting in line for 30 mins (they are incredibly slow) I am informed that they have to contact the insurance company and I'll have to come back in 48-72 hours.I spend a week, every month, just trying to get them to fill my prescriptions. I went there yesterday and the pharmacy technician told me I had nothing on file and I haven't gotten any meds there for over a year. That doesn't really explain how I had been getting my medication from them for the last 3 months, but whatever, obviously he is right and I'm just crazy.Also, I get controlled substances and I can't even tell you how many times they've tried to give my medications to my brother or my dad. We don't even have the same first name, or address.This Walgreen's is a bad joke and is more of a death clinic than the VA ever was for me. It shouldn't take me 2 weeks to get a prescription. This group of moron's are going to get someone killed, if they haven't already.

I had a prescription to fill in February 2020 after already having it filled there once. After confirming the medication i needed to survive had arrived there was only 4 pills present of the 60 i needed. I cried right there. They kept shrugging their shoulders and gave no alternative. I kept begging them to call my dr. They told me that maybe I could pay more but that money still wouldn't make the meds available until a week later. I'd still be dead by then. They told me I was in their way and to move away from the counter. I wrote their names down. I wish i had kept it. I wish i had done more. I called hyvee pharmacy and they brought it to my house, too weak to go that far.I've never wrote an online review. I've never even complained in real life. It took me 6 months to get up the courage to write this. I wish i could write it every day of my life. I wish i had done more to complain to walgreens. Its not in my nature. I live with this regret

Worst store in town. I was on my way home after surgery, and tried to get my pain medication prescription filled. They told me they couldn't get my insurance to work. Hello! I have UHC! Nearly every Cat employee in town has the same thing and you can't get my insurance to work?! 45 minutes later they still hadn't figured it out. My parents had to just buy it outright so we could be on our way. To HELL with this store!

My prescription was called in. I came to pick up my prescriptions only to be told that I needed to go run a few errands or drive around the building, because it would be 15 more minutes. The truck that I got behind after I drove around the building, gave the girl a prescription to be filled, she asked him if he wanted to wait for it to be filled, he said yes. So why did I have to "drive around the building" but he didn't? Not to mention Marta was in no way nice or professional with me. Marta needs some customer service training.Not that my business will make or break Walgreens, I WILL take my pharmacy needs elsewhere. And I hope this review will help someone else from being treated like this! And perhaps some much needed training!

I had left the doctors and was diagnosed with broncotis, stopped in on my way home, the lady at the counter said they had nothing for me. I wasn't feeling well, so I am sure she could tell it was a disappointment to me. It was also cold and raining. She said, "sometimes they call them in on their lunch or maybe latter". She said that I could call back and see if he called them in. I waited several hours, I called their number four times, three was to get past the automated answering machine. On the fourth call if waited for to speak with a human. The fun rang several times, and then hung up. So, I went out in the cold and rain, went inside, waited in line. The lady at the counter said you only have one prescription called in. Of course it was not the most important one. She said, "you'll have to call the doctor and yell at him, he must have forgot". So I went home called the Doctor's office. Went through the automated operator, only to be hung up on at the end. Finally talked to a very nice nurse who said she would call me back. I felt like Walgreens coul have called the doctors office or something. I guess not, they must do a great business, they had several people working behind the counter and were very busy. Doctors office just called, I have to pick up the prescription at his office, and take it in. Glad that it is a cold and wintery day to be sick.

Carizza at the pharmacy is a liar and is terribly rude. She tried to make me take an old prescription from propmt care vs the new different prescription I had just been prescribed by a surgeon. She said they were the same prescriptions but they were not. She also said my dentist office told her not to fill the script which was another lie. She was trying to not fill my pain meds because the prompt care didn't prescribe them. I have the right to chose which meds I will and will not take. You're not a doctor, stay in your own lane.
