I have to come here because other Walgreens doesn’t have that medicine in inventory. Have to wait at line then I was told to wait for 30 minutes to take up the medicine when it’s ready. Pretty slow response. Hope management can accelerate the process.

went in to get some insulin syringes (type 1 diabetic). I recently stopped being able to afford an insulin pump, so I'm back to the vials and needles. I didn't immediately remember which syringes I needed because it's been a while (and they have weird names), and instead of helping me or simply just selling me insulin syringes, I was treated like I was some kind of addict. I was spoken down to and actually sold the wrong kind of needles (I was uncomfortable and upset and was in a hurry to leave). going to have to rush to a different store first thing tomorrow, so I can actually measure my insulin properly and keep myself alive. never retuning here, obviously. sorry I didn't "look diabetic" enough for you, apparently.

Went it tonight and two men erupted in a bloody fight. Wish I could say this is the first incident I’ve seen here. Is this Walgreens even safe to shop anymore?

This is the 3rd terrible experience in the drive through...the 2nd with this one certain employee who is so rude and takes her sweet time...not caring you sat for 30 to 45 minutes. She then was very rude to me and made me come into the store. This employee has made me lose all confidence in Walgreens and I am very grateful I can choose to go elsewhere. Some people don't have that option.

This is the second time I’ve experienced the attitude from Samantha at this location. No personality, rude and not a people person at all . When working with the public you need to smile and/ or pretend you like your job !! If she’s a manager please have her change her rudeness.

Well I am about to cut my Walgreens credit card up because they can’t seem to get organized. This is the third time with three different stores that I have been to and they have had product on the shelf that they can’t sell because it’s not in their system. If the product is not for sale, then why is it on their shelf at all? The managers and all three stores just seem to be lost and don’t know how to deal with the situation. I suggested ringing up another box that worked of the same product. I guess that messes up their system according to the manager, I just talk to you. still why is the product on the shelf if it’s not for sale.? This manager here in Peoria could have a electrified the the situation very easily, but instead is making this into a disaster. I have called Walgreens customer service and they are looking into this situation I guess I’ll see what happens next. I thought customers come first apparently, that is not the case at Walgreens. Very disappointing. Stay tuned for what develops next!

TL:DR - They lack the staff to fill perceptions or even give accurate reasons why your prescription is not ready.The pharmacy staff are pleasant but unhelpful. I have been promised that my medication would be filled and ready to pick up 7 times, 3 in-person, 4 over the phone. Every time I have been promised it will be 90 min and you can pick it up. It has not been filled.They told me “well we are short staffed and people are walking off the job”.So do not, I repeat, do not send prescriptions here. They cannot fill them and they will not give you the correct reason they cannot fill them. They will blame insurance, they ran out of medication, the pharmacist is going on break, yes we said we would fill it but we didn’t.

Pharmacy is nothing but a JOKE! Rx’s are never ready when they’re supposed to be. Then when they tell you to come back later after a specified time, and I t’s STILL not ready! Then they tell you the earliest pickup time available is TOMORROW, when it should have been ready 2 days ago to begin with, and now they’ve wasted my time and money running back n forth to the store only to be told it’s not ready again! I will not be returning to this pharmacy again. I’d rather drive across town to East Peoria or go to CVS. Store #06408 can eat rocks.

The poor pharmacy people are wildly understaffed and always extremely behind. Corporate needs to reevaluate staffing needs. They always look so stressed out and dead inside. All that to say the people that work there are very friendly. I used to be able to pick up meds here in 15-30 minutes and now they typically run at least a few hours behind quote times, doesn’t matter what day of the week or what medication it is the drive thru line is gonna be 8 cars deep with 1 person working both lanes of traffic. I hope this is a poor reflection on the upper management and not the employees

This used to be the go to place. But every time I call to have my meds filled they never get filled. So I come in to pick them up after I’ve called and they tell me I have to wait for them to fill it and that it’s going to be at least 45 mins so then I come back a couple hours later and the meds are out of stock…like are you freaking serious…why couldn’t you guys have called me to let me know my meds were out when I called to have them filled 3 days ago. This is happening all of the freaking time!! The staff is rude as hell. I’m done with em.

Yesterday, I needed to get a prescription filled. They told me they would not tell me over the phone whether or not they had it in stock. I was forced to go to the drive through, wait in a line, and then be told we don't have any stock. 1 star is being too generous.

I go to this store primarily for pharmacy needs, but I've also made the mistake of ordering photo prints here. I've seen horror movies with fewer terrible chops than how my photo prints turned out. The drive thru line is almost always quite long, and moves at a snail's pace. Some staff is friendly, but most of them seem to despise their job and the customers they serve. I've tried using the prescription delivery service, and I never received my meds. I later realized that they never gave them to the delivery service. When I called to complain they refused to resend them and said I'd have to pick them up, even though I had already been charged. I'm immediately transferring my many monthly scripts to Genoa pharmacy instead. Later losers.

Use another pharmacy unless you have all the time in the world. I had an appt for a vaccine. Was a little early. Waited for over an hour. Left and got the vaccine elsewhere without any difficulties.

Don’t go here if you want your medicine, because it won’t get filled if you order it, it won’t get filled if you call about it, it won’t get filled if you go in there. They are terrible and the people who work there are hilarious 😂 Second time in a row I’ve run out of meds because of them. Transferring to a different pharmacy ASAP.

Told me they hadn't received my son's prescription from the urgent care yet and to check back in 45 minutes. Came back a little over an hour later and was told they still hadn't received it. And they were now closing so I could no longer get it from them. Called the doctor to have script transferred elsewhere and they said the pharmacy had confirmed receipt of the prescription before the first time I stopped there. Now I am driving an extra hour to get an antibiotic so my son doesn't miss more school than necessary.

Called the Pharmacy to confirm my prescriptions were ready, waited for an hour and 20 minutes on hold and finally had to hang up. This has been typical of my experience every time I've been here for anything. Several times I've gotten messages saying my prescriptions are ready only to show and have to wait for 2 hours for them to be ready. Service here is absolutely terrible.

Went to this pharmacy to get a transfer of prescription since CVS doesnt have the items. Been their around pm and one of the technician told me to call the CVS pharmacy to transfer it to them. I called and CVS told they need to call us not them. One of the technician told me I need to go to the CVS to get a copy of the scanned order and they did not even called the CVS. they never release the prescription for my son! This so frustrating and dissapointing. First you can call the CVS to fix the problem but did not since the pharmacist went to a lunch break.

I usually go to this location on a sparingly basis-you know if it's right there along the way-but recently the customer service factor needs some improvement. Recently, I went to grab some things-about 10 minutes left to close-and did I get the attitude from not one but both the staff working their. not to mention some wrong priced items, cashier needing assistance to do the basic job skills, annnd the look as I was leaving the store-BY THE MANAGER!! Trust me, this will continue to be a "sparingly" visited Walgreens!! I'd do the survey and inform the brass but they don't care one iota!! Nice way to show someone you appreciate their business!! Quasi in every sense of the word, annnd this just happened about a week ago!! so it's recent..

Walgreens incorrectly labeled three bottles of my medication. All I got was a we are sorry and we will make a report. So the pharmacy manager Becky offered me reward points if I put in my phone number for my inconvenience of hacking to come in to get the correct labels for my medication when I put my number she says the system can't find it and then I told her well I'm already going to post this on social media her comment was we're not allowed to make a mistake go ahead and posted on social media see if we care

Reading other reviews of this Walgreens pharmacy location is a bit disheartening. I usually have a great experience here! As long as I have things figured out with my doctor(s) and insurance company, then things go just fine. A lot of the times they are doing everything they can. Before I go to pick up my prescriptions I always check the app to make sure my prescriptions are ready. If there are any issues flagged I call the number and get connected to someone who then can help me figure out what I need to do. They are extremely busy lately with covid vaccinations on top of prescriptions but doing great given the circumstances.

At this point it has taken over 35 minutes to fill a prescription for an inhaler (mind you, an item that is already placed into a box and sealed - literally nothing special needs to be done) that can be picked off of the shelf and handed directly to me. Roughly four customers have come through in this time so it cannot be due to being “busy.”While this location is convenient, our family will be changing where our future prescriptions are filled from.Update - took 38 minutes. Slow clap.

So the last time I came to pick up my prescription in the drive thru I ended up having to go in as the line was not moving after 20 minutes. One lane was closed. Here I sit today again and the lane is still broken and I haven’t budged in 15 minutes. I complained to the pharmacist the last time I had to go in. She apologized but didn’t really seem to care much. I told her the main reason I get my prescriptions here was because of the drive thru. I told her after 20+ years of getting my prescriptions filled here I was ready to move them all. It’s become a huge inconvenience. So Walgreens please stop texting and emailing me incessantly that my prescription is ready for pick up because when I come to get it it really isn’t ready 🤷♀️😔

The photo lab at this Walgreens location is terrible and the staff is rude. I placed an order around Christmas time and when I went to pick them up, the manager argued with me and told me they didn't have my photos and I must have ordered from a different location. I showed him my confirmation receipt with the address to this exact location and he still argued with me and insisted that I was wrong. Two weeks later, they found my photos. Flash forward to this past weekend when I decided to give them another try. Went to pickup the 5 pictures I ordered, got in my car and opened the envelope where there were 3 photos and a cover sheet with the 5 that I ordered. I went back inside, and explained that I was missing photos and was told that I needed to go re-order them and when I pick them up to just let them know and they wouldn't charge me again. Sorry, but no thank you. I also paid almost $5 for three 4x6 photos.I like this Walgreens for convenience reasons, hence the 2 stars, but will never try using their photo lab again.

Either they are very slow or incompetent. After 2 days and three trips to pick up antibiotics for an elderly parent. I refused to leave until they got it ready. Telling me they had other people to wait on. While typing this I am the only car in the drive through. Would not have been upset if they had not told us the day before (after sending a message it was ready) it would be ready today. Arrived a few hours earlier today only to be told it it had not been filled and and it would be 20 mins. I told staff I would come back in a few hours. This time when I arrived. Was told they were waiting on a doctor ok for a refill. This is the original Tx for the AB. Then was told it was canceled out of the system. And I could wait another 20 mins.Still no cars in the drive thru at 10PMWhen you have little competition for a night time pharmacy you don’t have to be good. Makes you wonder if what they give you is safe and correct.

Horrible. I received a completely different medication MIXED IN with a prescription I had filled. I took the medicine as usually and felt really off and had blurry vision. Having never had that reaction when taking the medication before, I poured the bottle out on my counter and noticed the pills were two different sizes with different imprints. I looked up the unidentified pill and it was a completely different medication all together. I will never use this Pharmacy again. Thankfully, my reaction wasn’t serious.

I had been a customer there from when they first moved there from westlake shopping center. And for the most part they had good service.That was until 4-5-17.I did as I usually do bought more items than I planned. One of such items was paper towels that were on sale. When I checked out either I forgot or the person ringing me up forgot to hand me the bag with my paper towels in it. When I got home I noticed that even though I had paid for them they were not with me. I called the store and the store personal could not find my purchase. And the salesperson was unable. I left my name and number yet my call was not return. And on the next day when I followed up with another call I was informed that they couldn't help me.This is unacceptable it is their job to make it right. So now I'm considering moving my prescriptions from there to another Pharmacy. I'm very discouraged by my recent experience
