I took my 9 month old Corgi mix for a spa bath and trim yesterday. He will not let anyone handle his nails due to a bad experience in the past. However Susan his groomer did a FANTASTIC job I was soooo pleased. Not only with his nails but the over all treatment. His coat was clean and shiny, and soft. From beginning to end just a wonderful experience from the whole staff. Will definitely be bringing him back.Thanks again Susan!!!

I truly don’t know what I would do without Waggin Tails! They have AMAZING staff that all love and adore every dog. My dog does daycare regularly and has boarded several times. For daycare, they offer one on ones for the dogs that don’t do well with others (for no extra cost) and group play. My dog does a little bit of both and I am so grateful for their continued work with my dog. They limit their play groups so dogs and employees are safe!We have been to other daycares in the area that were just too much for my dog. They take the time to get to know your pet and will love them as their own!!Ps. They also take cute pictures of your pet! These are a few of my favorite they have taken!!

I can’t say enough about how much we love WT! The staff is always friendly and very responsive to my questions and request for bookings. My dogs rush to get in the front door tells me all I need to know. She is definitely loved on and cared for.

I dropped my dogs off for the first time today and they loved it. As soon as they got in the vehicle they fell right asleep- I know they had lots of playing time. Thanls Waggin Tails and team for giving my pups so much love. You all are amazing and I can wait to have them come back to play.

Have been bringing Mr Pip since we got him.. It has helped tremendously with his anxiety. We have been happy with our stays, and Mr Pip comes home exhausted!!

My initial visit was to see where and how my dog would be living throughout the week. I was recommended from a vet and was very surprised about the options I had for my dog. From daycare to outside activities to which bunk I wanted him in ( top or bottom ). The energy he had when I pickup him up was amazing as he’s not around other dogs much. When I take him out he’s definitely looking and sniffing for another animal and I’ve never seen him so observant! I’m consider daycare once a week! It’s changed him so much and I didn’t realize he need it! Thank you!!

My wife and I dropped our dog off here when we flew out of state, and it worked out well for everyone! The staff was very friendly and we got to see photo updates of her that they posted on their Facebook page. We will definitely have her stay over again if we needed to board her in the future.

My dogs both cry with excitement when we turn into the Waggin Tails parking lot. They love going to doggie daycare several days a week. The staff are so friendly. We have used them for boarding several times as well. My dogs did not act the slightest bit phased by the fact that I left had them for 4 days. That tells me they had a great vacation while I was away! We use their grooming services as well. It is so handy to schedule grooming on a daycare day. They play half the day and are freshly groomed when I pick them up at the end of the day!

My dog Fallon has been going to Waggin’ Tails for a couple weeks now and I must say I have noticed a completely different dog at home! She so much more happier and outgoing! She used to be scared of other people and humans who weren’t part of out “pack”. She get soexcited when we pull into the parking lot and even happier walking in the door. The safe is super helpful and caring. They treat your pup the way the would want there pup treated. Please consider setting up a preview and allowing your pup to make friends and come out of there shell!!!

Today was my first grooming visit for our puppy, Adlee. The experience was wonderful from the minute we pulled up until I picked our baby up.The staff was wonderful, kind and professional. Adlee loved the staff and made herself right at home! Adlee is a husky/Aussie mix and they did a wonderful deshedding on her!

My dog has been attacked twice at this facility. The second time, I dropped him off on Friday morning to stay through Monday morning. They claim this is when he went after another dog, on Friday morning. No one bothered to call me as soon as this happened. I would have picked him up immediately. I picked him up Monday morning, only to find that he had missing hair on his head, he had cuts on his nose and his neck was rubbed raw. Jill, their GM, could not tell me what happened other than "they get excited when they first get here". And, she had no explanation as to why no one called me. This answer was unacceptable for me when I see the damage done to my dog. I requested the owner, Lisa Kennell-Dully to call me back. After 30+ days and 7 phone calls, Lisa NEVER called me back. All they wanted was my money! I can't imagine what my dog went through for the entire weekend. So I'm taking this to social media and anywhere else I can make people aware of this poor facility. If you love your pets and want the best for them while being boarded or at a daycare, Waggin' Tails Resort in Peoria, IL is NOT THE PLACE TO TAKE YOUR PETS. Based on my social media post, there are plenty of other great facilities to take your loving fur-babies....

Well things were great until the last 3 visits had small issues. When a question was asked the manager on duty was upset at the questioning and blamed us and refuse us service. We only had a small issue. Too refuse service now is terrible. It's something we intend to address to the highest extent.

One of my pups has serious kennel anxiety and despite giving Waggin' Tails clear instructions and double checking that they could meet her needs when making the reservation and at drop-off, they failed to do so. They did not address her anxiety until she'd been there over 24 hours and injured herself. This injury was entirely preventable if they had simply listened and been honest about their capability to provide a quiet environment. When I picked up my pup they did not even apologize or address my frustration. Ultimately every business makes mistakes but because of their lack of understanding or trying to make this right we will not be back.

Left our two dogs for 5 nights. The front desk offered no information when we picked them up, literally not even a "they did ok". One of our dogs screamed in excitement as she saw us, was a shedding mess (doesn't shed normally) and jumped into my SUV ASAP, which she doesn't do since she hates that vehicle for some weird reason. When we got home both dogs IMMEDIATELY ran for the water bowl and killed multiple bowls. They were gulping water down at the same time, which I've never seen them do before. We brought 2 beds that weren't even used. I know they weren't used because I washed them beforehand and my other dog sheds single hairs HEAVILY. Not a single hair on either bed and no stink from them laying on them. Glad to know my dog who has old CCL injuries didn't have a soft spot to lay on. Everything about them is just off and we've left them at our usual place for 10 nights without seeing any of the before mentioned issues. Overall wouldn't recommend to anyone for an extended stay. Before they say "doesn't seem like you've boarded with us based on name", pretty sure it's under my GF's name since she setup the boarding.Pros:I got a tour of the facility when I dropped them off. They posted pictures on FB so we knew they were alive. Gave our dogs medication and their glucosamine daily.

I brought my Lab in to try out Waggin Tails and didn’t have a great experience. I was told that she did not interact well with some of the dogs and had to be taken away from the dogs multiple times. I have been taking her to 2 other daycare's for 2.5 years and I have never once had an issue with her behavior. If she was not getting along with other dogs I wish I would have received a phone call asking me to come pick her up. Once I got home I noticed she had a scrap above her eye with hair missing. I don’t understand how she could get that on her own head if she was being the aggressive one. I will not ever use their services again (I also know several other people that have had similar experiences)

Great place for great dogs. Good place for bad dogs, they just hafta play in a separated area and the owners do a great job keeping them separated as quickly as possible. Jill, Lisa, Derrick and the staff are amazing animal lovers. My dogs get so excited when they see them. They love their play days there and I love knowing they're having a great time while I'm busy at work.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE this clean facility. I have brought my dogs here for a while now and it definitely is the nicest facility I have seen, as well as the friendliest staff that I have worked with so far. They were very polite and their current trainer got my High energy German shepherd to calm down by the end of the day. I will never take my dogs anywhere else!!

I am not giving this establishment any stars. I recently boarded my dog there for four nights. When I picked her up she was very wet as she had just been bathed two hours before picking her up. She has a double coat and takes hours to dry properly. She was also sick with kennel cough, even though she had been immunized against it. I was not told that she was sick , I suspect that they didn't even know it. It seemed to be run by bunch of very young people. Several were sitting behind the desk texting on their phones. When I called the manager to voice my concerns, she didn't even call me back, I had to call her back. She assured me that I would be refunded part of my bill of $180 to bring home a sick wet dog. That did not happen. I got the impression that the day care dogs are their primary concern. When I got her home she ran for the water bowl like she had not had a drink all week. I also had counted out her treats for the days with instructions to give her one after she ate, but there were many left in the bag. DO NOT take your beloved pet there.

My Elphaba has been going to Waggin Tails since we moved back to Peoria in August. She goes for camp daily and has also stayed overnight. I can say without a doubt she’s having a wonderful experience with Waggin Tails. I love seeing photos from her adventures there on Facebook, particularly when I’m away and she’s not just there for camp. They’ve been great about accommodating last minute boarding requests. The hours are fantastic - I can drop her off as early as 6am for the mornings when I have early meetings and conference calls. My little girl can be quirky but the staff at Waggin Tails handles her with great care. She comes home from camp delightfully exhausted and is so happy when I bring her back each morning she rushes directly back and scratches at the door until someone lets her in. So happy I found Waggin Tails!

I have taken my GSD here since he was a puppy for daycare. He goes 5x a week and He is now almost 9mos old. He is very well taken care of, one time I left him boarded there for 2wks as I was out of town, they made sure he got to his scheduled vet appt, another time he chewed up his bed, they went out and bought him a new bed. They always seem to go above and beyond. I have had interactions with most of the employees, and have always had a positive experience with each one! I would not take my working GSD to any other place!

I made reservations to drop off my beagle mix for 3 days before Christmas, as I had to board here to go out of town for a family death.I called ahead to ensure they could handle her daily diet regimen of one cup dry and half a can of wet. If they could not, I was ready to just put her on dry kibble during her stay. But they said it would be no problem so I packed her bags.When I went to pick her up, she was frantic and wanting to get away. I found all the cans of wet food were gone from her back back, but the dry kibble was untouched in her bag- the same with her blanket and toy- still in the bottom of her backpack, just like I packed it.I reached out to this business after returning home, only to be told the Owner was out of town for the Christmas holiday. I tried to have the Manager on Duty look into the situation, and was informed that she reviewed the video footage, and they did not place my dogs blanket and toy in her pen because, "she made a couple messes in there" Well of course she is going to make a couple messes if you suddenly change her environment and diet!This is NOT a place to board your dog or cat. I will NEVER subject my pet to this again.

I have brought my dogs to both the goodfield(closed now) and peoria facility and have had beyond amazing experiences! I have tried other places and they have not been as clean or safe. Waggin' tails is the best facility I have been to with a great staff that answers all of my questions. I will never bring my dog anywhere else besides WTR.

We started taking our dog, Siri, to WTR a few months ago. She was a rescue and had some baggage about us leaving her and anxiety if we were not around. I spoke to the people at the front desk many times before taking her because I didn't know how she would be around other dogs and toys. They evaluated her and messaged me even though she wasn't there long. She did great and they eased her into a friendly group.Siri has so much fun there. I love seeing the pictures and videos on Facebook. WTR are very flexible on when we can take her (how many days, etc) and Siri has never had problems there. She has a lot of fun and is tired when she gets home (see pic). The good news is we can see a big difference in her anxiety and attachment with us. We are still working with her but WTR has been a great help and good resource for us. We never worry about Siri. Everyone is careful with the dogs and they all seem to genuinely care about them.
