Indian groceries are found here. Have a large inventory of spices, utensils, food, vegetables and frozen item. Employee are helpful and various products can be found. They have snacks item as well. Looked for black salt and shredded coconut. Some halal frozen food are also available in the frozen section.

Great collection of Indian foods and spices (perhaps the best in Peoria). Their fresh produce selection is great; usually restocked every Wednesday evening. They also sell fresh snacks made on-site every Saturday (available noon onwards as of 2023).A decent range of desserts, tropical fruits, and a wide array of frozen snacks are available. They also have frozen fish but I haven’t tried those yet.The store is reasonably clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Certainly one of my favorite local stores.

It's my favorite store for so many things. The best thing is the coarse Indian sugar for specialty pastries or sugar cookies. The selection of grains, spices, and fresh produce and herbs is amazing. It's a great place to get supplies and to see the unique items.

Came here for the 1st time today and will be back probably every week. Amazing prices, great fresh produce, huge variety, spices, naan, ready made freezer meals, shelf stable meals, coffee and teas, snacks and sweets, they have everything. My heart is so happy.

I just bought puffed rice that started smelling bad as soon as I opened it. And I was surprised to read the expiry date is in July 2023, close to a year. Really disappointing.

I have visited Swaget a dozen times and I usually have repetitive experiences. As soon as i walk in, the cashiers and/or employees will look directly at me with no acknowledgment that a customer just walked in. Customer service is non existent, and I may or may not get a thank you after spending money. The produce is lackluster, and when you do scavenge for a decent item, there is a male that will wait until you walk away to add fresh ones. This person will often follow behind me and watch my movements. Their customers are even rude lol. I suggest that you go elsewhere if you’re not from where they are from. I Visited a new market today. Thanks to Peoria Bazzar, I never have to go to Swaget again.

Friendly staff and good selection. It can be hard to find fresh turmeric around peoria and they always have it.

This is one of the best places to buy fresh foods in Peoria. You can find many things here that you wont find in other groceries like Walmart, Kroger and HyVee. You can find many different types of pepper, yucca root, yams, taro root, green coconuts, plantains and a variety of herbs and spices. What's impressive is that everything is fresh. Also since this is an Indian grocery you get all the typical Indian goods. Their prices are vey reasonable. Being from the Caribbean I can get many of the native types of food from my country which is why I consider this place a gem.

Variety of beautiful fresh fruits vegetables and herbs, many powdered varieties, medicinal and for skin/hair, all the basics plus more. Friendly staff, always hot food at the cash register. We’re always greeted and feel welcomed. Thankyou thankyou for having a store that helps me follow my spiritual practices bless you!

They keep the prices very high on all products assuming they are the only grocery shop in the town . They should know that people have other options where they can get the products at lesser price. Every product is a dollar high compared to other Indian stores . Their samosa and Dabeli are good but overpriced again . Thinking to not go back again.

This grocery has everything I need. There's a good selection of produce, every spice I could imagine, and a great variety of dry goods. The store is always clean and the workers are always welcoming.

With Swagat, I have possibly seen the richest assortment of food items when compared to any Grocery store I’ve been to in most cities, with the exception of Patel Brothers Chicago. The flavor of their fresh foods like Dhokla, their truly sweet “Sweet Pan”, their collection of fresh veggies and the snacks & ice creams section is truly amazing.10/10 would go again and shop here than elsewhere!

Great selection with good prices. They have pretty much any bulk spice you might need, a decent amount of frozen food, and a small fresh food section as well with a few vegetables and fruits. They often sell fresh sandwiches at the front - but be careful, they can be pretty spicey!

This place is has been around for a while now and we as a family have been shopping here for years. However, I think its necessary to address how poor their customer service is. The family that owns it are helpful when you need help to finds items. However, it is not okay to be rude or not be pleasant. When at the register they don't acknowledge you unless you speak their language or you are known to them. I went to the store this week and the owner (she) did not even acknowledge I was at the register EVEN though she was ringing my stuff up. Even after I payed she did not even say thank you or something pleasant. I noticed her having a conversation with other customers as she was ringing me up which is fine but its important to treat your loyal customers nice so they keep coming back. I would rather drive to chicago and get my supplies than to go here. Also, one of their employees ( middle aged Indian guy) always has so much attitude and definitely gives off " I hate being here and please don't talk to me" vibe. Other than their customer service I recommend this place.

Products sold are pretty old compared to the packaged dates. Good variety of products. Especially the Pappad section seemed to be very interesting to me. Prices are a little high compared to Chicago prices. Ready made food like samosas are available.

Fine Indian grocery but they use WiFi jammers so if you need to call home and ask if you have an ingredient you have to step to the parking lot. Super frustrating. But the grocery is very complete

Went there with zero knowledge of Indian food except one or two desserts. I really didn't know anything and they guided me through a whole new world. Even gave me meal suggestions. I do however have one complaint. Was not given a warning about how addicting Jalebi is. Warning would have been wonderful.

Great collection of indian grocery items. Price could have been little cheaper in some items otherwise ok. Specially recommended for indian spices, snacks, grains, pulses etc. Products from indian brands thoughout different parts of india also available here. All known vegetables are available here but you have to purchase in small amounts. Improvement in keeping required.

We live in North East Missouri and don’t have any Indian grocery close by. My friend who lives in that area agreed to pickup big list of grocery for me. I had messaged Mr Sanjay of the grocery store to keep the order ready to be picked up at 1230pm the next day.To my surprise my friend got the order at 1:45 pm, so so unprofessional and unreliable, even after knowing that someone has to travel for good 5hrs they made them wait. I will never ever order my grocery from place again. If people have no respect for others time I am sorry but I can’t talk good bout them. Thumbs down from my side. One star is been given for my friend who picked up my food for me ☹️

Good place to buy Indian Groceries and has wide range of items. Fresh fruits and indian vegetables are available. In the evening, freshly made indian snacks, such as samosa, are available. However, it is better to check the expiry date of packed food items, as at times it may not be cleared on time.

Found what we came looking for. Certainly cannot compare it with the larger Indian grocery stores in New Jersey and Chicago. But it is a well organized and fairly stocked store for Peoria.
