I have been in twice for different things. I am not super confident on anything camera related, but they did an awesome job. We got old family movies put on DVDs, which was helpful and turned out well. They also sell gift cards!!

Peoria Camera Shop has always been top quality in prints, equipment, and customer service. Ted and Travis have been there forever and are very knowledgable in every aspect from equipment to prints. If they don't have something in stock, they will order it for you. The prints are very high quality and the prices are very reasonable. The new owner has the shop looking bright and beautiful! Every single piece of camera equipment I own is from Peoria Camera Shop. I won't buy/print anywhere else. I am a customer for life.

I always get my large prints here. The last time I ordered a digital art print from an Etsy artist and then had them printed at Peoria Camera. I love the metallic option! Looks great and always turns out just as I want it to! Love shopping local and this place always does great work!

To find such a high quality, independently owned and operated, brick and mortar camera retailer who also produces high quality print products is something of a unicorn in today's world. But Peoria Camera Shop is just that, a one stop shop for all your photographic and print needs.I moved to the region from a major city a decade ago, and they were the only place within a three hour drive still offering film development.I've used them for film developing and scanning, print ordering (in store and online), and purchased photographic accessories from them.The staff is kind, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable.

Friends don’t let friends print at the drugstore. Seriously, the quality of their printing and their papers are excellent. I use them for new gear, prints, maintenance on my gear etc. and I feel so fortunate to have a local camera shop for all of my photography needs. As an added bonus make sure to say “hello” to Sunny the dog when you stop in.

I have been in to the store over many years. And wanting to buy $1000 of $1000 dollars worth of equipment. But every single time I go in there I had the worst experience. Just yesterday all I needed was an extra battery and the guy behind the counter. I think his name is Ted. He must be the manager of some sort. He is never nice at all. This is the reason why I will drive to Iowa to the Camera Corner or I will take a day trip to St. Louis. To Schillers Camera store those two places are the most friendliest people and Knowledgeable people that will take the time to help people out to understand the new equipment just last year alone between both stores I have spent over $12,000 worth of equipment. It’s a real shame that you guys live four minutes from me and I have to go out of state to buy equipment. I will never ever return to your store again all I wanted him to do his test the battery to make sure it works because recently I bought a battery and it did not work, so I did not want to make another trip. All he had to do is stick it in to a Camera and before I can even get to the word camera, he said nope not even knowing what I want him to do. This is a great one-stop shop for any photography needs you might have. From cameras to getting pictures printed to unique gifts - they have it all. The employees and new owner are great. It’s nice to have a store like this in Peoria.

This store is my go-to store for good quality prints photo. Everyone has always been nice and friendly and very helpful. They also offer color corrections when you are in doubt. Very helpful

I’ve been a longtime customer of the shop for many years now and they always have the best print quality in town. I was recently there getting some pictures scanned and printed and they were done within a few days. The staff is always helpful and it’s great to have this shop here locally!

I rent some gear from the shop - it’s lovely, takes beautiful shots.My best experience though, was a recent experience with Ava, Who met me after hours to pick up a lens I had forgotten to pick up. Absolutely my error, but she was so helpful and met me there.One of these I’ll just buy the lens from here, but until then - will keep renting 😊

Terrible service, prices and turnaround time for film development. I had dropped off 1 singular roll of film 16 days ago and was told that the film would be ready in 5-7 business days. I then proceeded to call to get an update on my film after the 7th business day and was told that the place was under construction and would take longer than 5-7 business days.. If I had known it was going to be like this, I would’ve developed it myself. I know that this is one of the only Peoria camera shops, but it would not take very much competition to destroy this business and be much more successful. I’m really disappointed in how the employees didn’t have any concerns about getting my film back to me as quickly as possible. Customer service is everything.

I purchased my first camera at Peoria Camera in 1955 when I was a youngster. I always loved going there for a visit. There was a distinctive photo lab aroma which I loved and it reminded me of my own amateur developing lab (for Boy Scouts). I know that the youthful enthusiasm of the new owner will carry the photo message to yet more generations of Peoria youngsters.

I've stopped in here three times over the years I had a camera cleaned and I got it back and it was as dirty as it was when I brought it in. I went in the other day with a few questions and the staff is very a knowledgeable and just out to sell new equipment. I used to think highly of this place but things sure have changed they must be going out of business. It just seem like the gentleman did not wanna help me whatsoever and he was over working there

Best place to get pictures printed! They have amazing quality and I've never had better pictures printed. They also let you rent equipment which is amazing if you are on the fence about certain things you can try out out!

I came to this shop to test their printing for daycare photos I had done, and was sent here by the previous photographer who used them. Not only was the quality GREAT, the prices are reasonable and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. I was prepared to put in a huge order, but I had to contact them due to payment difficulties... They helped me from beginning to end with the order and made sure it got printed in a timely manner. I didn't realize they were running a special on photos, and I was fully prepared to spend what I thought I owed, but they let me know about the discount and then cut off a huge chunk off of my total, which was AMAZING as a small business owner at Christmas time. Absolutely going to come back here as long as they are around - nothing beats great customer service. 💖

I have been a customer at Peoria Camera Shop for years. I have ALWAYS talked about how wonderful their prints and prices are to my clients...and while thats true, it doesn't matter when the customer service is terrible!I came into the shop yesterday to make some wall prints for our new home and to design our Christmas cards. I spent approximately 1 hour at the kiosk designing our card perfectly, ordering wall prints of our brand new family portraits and placing my order (It was a little under $100 order). When I tried to put my order through, it wouldn't allow me to choose cash payment, which is literally all I had! I asked them to override the system so I could pay for my order in cash and was told it wasn't possible!!! Its fine if you won't accept cash, but PUT UP A SIGN TO WARN YOUR CUSTOMERS!! I wasted an hour of my time for absolutely nothing and left the store in tears. I am appalled at how I was treated yesterday and will likely not be back. So disappointed in this establishment.

Not good. I received $250 in gift cards when I retired. I've emailed the store about equipment, since nearly everything on the website is out of stock, with no response. I've stopped at the store a couple of times. And there is little to no inventory.

Not Cheap. Most items I bought were marked up 40% more than I could of bought them for on Amazon, one was 60% more there. I wish I would have looked them up before spending over $300 here. The selection was absolutely terrible, big sign on the door says Canon but they only sell Sony products. What’s that about? And the man who helped me didn’t have a clue what he was talking about with some items. You guys need to stick to photos only. Your camera business is laughable. Needless to say I won’t be coming back.

Peoria Camera is a great place with great people! The prices are not high... This is not Wal Mart... You get what you pay for! They have the best prints around. I will only let my photography customers get their prints at Peoria Camera!! You can clearly see the quality!

Not a fan of their return policy. Despite not using the item, still in the box, and having the receipt, I brought it in 8 days later and couldn't get my money back. Now I'm stuck with this thing and out 80 bucks.(In response to the owner: I purchased a compact flash card)

I love this store! I could easily drop tens of thousands if the mrs would let me. Nate and his staff are always helpful and have a answer for any question. Nate on more than one occasion has went above and beyond, I always check here first before going online. Keep it local.
