Erin did a great job! I lived out of state and my dog has only had one other groomer his whole life. When we came in today, Erin made him completely comfortable and he looks amazing! He is so gorgeous! The pictures don't do the cut/grooming justice because my silly boy won't hold still for pictures long :-) Cocker spaniel cuts can be especially challenging so I was very impressed with her work.

This is the best place! The groomers always do a great job. They love our dogs, play with them, and take the time to understand their personalities!The store is full of high-quality food & treats. And, they will special order whatever you need. They always have a great selection of homemade, healthy treats, and cute clothes, as well as all the expected dog and cat accessories.Everyone knows us, and they are all very friendly and go out of their way to help!

We had our dog Rizzo groomed yesterday. I believe Erin was his groomer. He looked great . Excellent job. Very personable and an excellent employee. Our dog had a sore on his rear foot that we couldn't see because his hair had gotten so long. Erin told us about it and we have him on the mend now. I highly recommend her. Thanks for such great service.

Grooming has been a nightmare. My dog was in shock after his first grooming experience, and it took several days to get him back to normal behavior. Second grooming experience was even worse. He had an allergic reaction to their products, even though we asked for hypoallergenic, and then had to go to the vet to get medicine. My Dogs Bakery did not offer to provide for any assistance, and naturally another vet bill due to something they caused came out my pocket. Finally, the third time they refused to even groom him, as they found he had a urinary tract infection. My Dogs Bakery indicated they would take him once the vet gave him a clean bill of health. Took him straight to the vet, obtained the appropriate medication, and then tried to reschedule grooming. My Dogs Bakery refused another grooming appointment as they claim it’s not a good fit.In summary, they failed to take accountability for their actions, don’t keep their word, and overall were not very nice. Hopefully, you have no issues with your dog.

I am visiting my parents and my dog really needed a groom. I am so happy I read these reviews and decided to go to My Dog's Bakery. Alyssa was our groomer and she was fantastic. Thank you so much for taking care of my little one. He looks so handsome. Next time we visit central Illinois, we'll be back!

My grandpup was in town with his mommy and daddy and they are sticklers with his diet. That had me running to This bakery where they make fresh treats with clean ingredients. What a great staff! Friendly, attentive, and helpful! Our good boy will be getting more treats from them!

Easily the best dog groomer in town. Henry loves going there and getting the Red Carpet Ready treatment. They take the time to properly groom our Doodle and send him home happy and handsome every time.He loves the peanut butter treats as well.

My dog recently got her cast taken off, I asked for them to try and make the paws even to the one the vet had to shave off and a haircut. Her hair was really smooth when she came out. They did a great job with her especially since she is quite a hyper dog, and they accommodated her in between spots so she could be taken care off before leaving town. Great service!

I recently took my ten year old 5 pound Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix here for a grooming. Seeing how it was only her second time at a professional groomer, I was unsure exactly what to ask for. I told Cherie, the groomer I made an appointment with, to just do whatever she thought was best. My dog looked so cute when Cherie brought her out, I hardly even recognized her! She looked good at the first groomer I took her to, but I am amazed at what a wonderful job Cherie did with her. I regret waiting 10 years to give my dog this beautiful haircut! Cherie even put a cute little heart bow on her collar. The price is a little on the expensive side, but I believe you get what you pay for. I will definitely be back, and I will definitely be requesting Cherie! I added photos below so you can see a before and after :-)

I’m a crazy dog lady and have several dogs, all littles, many seniors. Some of these little seniors can be pretty frail, and pretty grumpy. Coming from a rescue situation they can also be a hot mess and have special needs.I can always count on MDB and their groomers to take excellent care of my pups. You can tell they truly love dogs and I feel they treat mine as if they are their own. I also like that they are happy to educate so I can learn how to help keep up.If you’re looking for a good compassionate groomer, you’ve found them. I don’t use their daycare myself but have spoken with many of the daycare pet parents while in the store and they always have very complimentary things to say. And the shop has the cutest swag!!!!Love this place! Very happy customer!

We have been taking our dog here for grooming for years. With bi-monthly bathing and trims, our dog has never been injured and always comes out looking amazing. The groomers are friendly and very good at their job. Our little dog can be quite difficult, and I know they treat him well because he has become less anxious with the grooming process over time.My Dog's Bakery has higher prices than some of the other places, but in our case it's money well spent to know they are taking good care of our dog.

Have been taking our dogs here for grooming for numerous years and now all of a sudden they say that the shot records provide on paper aren't sufficient and that we must have never sent them before and they "took word of mouth" and now suddenly our dogs "don't have the correct shots"

One of the best small business animal shops in Peoria. You should definitely consider buying their treats for your dog, and not pre packaged ones for chain stores. Regardless, they have great quality products all around their store!

Nice to have a store like this in Peoria. It has its pros and cons though. Visited for the first time since they moved from metro center the other day. The store itself is well layed out and has good options, we like to buy our furry friend a birthday cake and its a convenient location. But having dealt with the owner on a couple of occasions I can confirm what a few others have said here about how she comes across. I’ve changed my source for food due to this and only stop in for a special treat I can’t get elsewhere from time to time.

Fun place for dogs! Ordered a dog bone shaped cake for our dog's birthday that has meat as an ingredient. Bet she'll love it! Lots of different types of cookies and treats for them as well. The store has many services, such as grooming and daycare as well. Check it out.

They do a great job getting you in quick for a grooming appointment and take good care of them when they do! My Dog Willow loves this place and feels very comfortable every time she goes in and gets lots of love by everyone working! I will continue taking her for treats, toys, and grooming!

Great local business. Have used their doggy daycare program, grooming, and made many stops by the store. Have been very pleased with the service across the board. All the toys, food, and treats are of excellent quality and the facility itself is kept very clean. The store is well stocked and staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This is a dog paradise if I have ever seen one.In addition to having a great experience with the daycare program, the grooming service is also exceptional. When we pick our dog up from grooming he looks and smells incredible. This is a premium quality groomer and the convenience factor of daycare/groomer/pet store all in one location is awesome.I would highly recommend stopping by to check this place out.
