Aaron at Midwest is great. This store sells some high end equipment. I called this morning trying to find a gas cap for a push mower. A very low price point item but that didn’t matter. Aaron took the serial number from the engine and spent time searching for the part and found it. I am so impressed by the level of customer service at this store! I would highly recommend them for all of your equipment needs. As a side note, I have called dozens of places and the manufacturer over the past 2 years looking for this part with no success. Thank you Aaron and Midwest Equipment.

I bought a new Toro zero turn rider from Midwest Equipment. I didn’t care for the attitude of the young salesman at Wieland’s so I thought I would drive a little further and check out Midwest. So glad I did. Jerry helped me and got the model I was interested in the next day. I went to pay for it and he delivered it the same day! This stores knows how to provide service. Terrible service.. how can you not cover the damages you were suppose to prevent from happening? If someone brings you expensive equipment your job is to make sure it leaves better than what it came. Not worse! Not bad guys I just feel they don’t know how to fix things when it gets a little confusing so blame the customer.

These 5 stars are for Eric in the sevice dept. Thanks Eric for stepping up and getting my tractor home to me after I just had $470.00 worth of service done. You went out of your way to get my tractor home within 2 hours of seeing me standing outside in the lot trying to figure out how to get it home. I just dropped 20 grand in that place last year. The zero stars are for all of the rest of you for not caring one bit about helping me get my tractor home. My name is Dan but this is being posted in my wife's name because of letter format.

If i could give more stars I would. Steve and his crew did a Generac install (Jan 2022) at my home. The gas pipe that was under ground cracked going into my house. After arriving home to a bad gas smell but non lethal. Steve came out on a freezing cold night to see it was repaired properly and promptly. No damage to yard. Looks great! Cant thank them enough!

I was so tired of dealing with the big box chains for customer service of my yard equipment. I always get great customer service when I walk in the door at Midwest Equipment they always have what I need in stock at a great price. No wandering around the store to find someone to help you. Service/Maintenance for all the equipment is super easy. Drop it off and they call you when its ready to roll. Thanks and keep the great customer service. Much Appreciated! -Craig

If you want high end commercial grade lawn mowers or landscaping tools. This is definitely the place to go. They service you're equipment and have the parts to do it yourself. Priced high but definitely high quality items

A problem free buying and installing experience. Bill, Scott, and Eric are true professionals. Their Generac home generators are fully dependable as we had a 4-hour power failure the night after it was installed. The generator kicked in 5 seconds after we lost power lighting up our house for the duration of being without Ameren electrical service. Buy with confidence!

I had a service call for my generator not charging. I was quoted $140 for the part but when the bill came it was $199.29I talked to Eric in the shop and was told he couldn’t change the price. I googled the part number and they are indeed $140 or less from other sellers. Not happy. Always had good experiences with MWE before this. You’d think for $50 it would be worth it for a happy customer.

Very impressed with both sales and service. Most of my experience is with service. The service manager, Kevin, is awesome-- he goes above and beyond and really cares about customers. They have fair prices and go out of their way to educate customers so equipment problems don't pop back up again if they can be curtailed with normal maintenance. Well done!

Poor service.... Walked in and there were about 4 employees doing nothing. One was playing with paper work and a couple others arguing about something on the computer. One guy asked me what I wanted and I told him I needed some filters. He said oh OK some other guy will help you out. Don't go here if you want to actually be helped. I said "poor service" on the way out and not a single employee bothered to even respond. I'll be getting my parts off line... I try to support local small businesses but when they act like this I won't return.

I have a 25 ton log splitter that the screws holding on the handle to the hydraulics snapped off. I was told it would take about a week, and given a quote on the phone.To my surprise, the manager (kevin) called me back the following day, and told me that not only was it ready for them to drop back off, but that the bill was HALF of what the quote was, as the mechanic was able to get the pieces out much more easily than he thought.They are honest, hard working, and their work is high quality. I would recommend them to any of my friends.

Dropped my Cub cadet riding lawn mower off with multiple issues. The mechanics were very personable as well as being up front that they were very busy. That being said within 3 days I got a phone call describing the work that needed to be done and the parts that would need to be ordered. Gave them the go ahead to order parts then fix the mower. Within the next week the mower was ready for me to pick up. Not only did they repair the mower issues They Washed the mower and fixed the slight leak in the tire.

I had midwest equipment come and pick up my riding mower, trimmer and a blower for a tune up for the summer. They called me and told me that my trimmer and blower needed a lot of work and wouldn't be worth it to fix them. They charge $95 a hour and $48 for diagnostic . My riding mower would cost $850 to fix. So they talked me into buying a new blower and a trimmer which cost me around $400 with diagnostic fees waived. I had them drop my riding mower off without being fixed by them. I called Matheis Kelly in Morton about my riding mower and gave a list (Midwest equipment gave me this list) of things that needed to be fixed. Matheis Kelly charged me $430. This charge included pick up and drop off my riding mower at my house. To make the long story short, I will never go to Midwest Equipment again because they sold me something that I don't need. I am still using my old blower and trimmer by the way. I highly recommend Mathesis Kelly in Morton. This review is for Midwest Equipment in Metamora

Took my lawn mower in for a filter and oil change. .the bill came to $217 $147 of that was Labor I never told anybody else to do anything else to that accept change the oil and filter everything was done to that including changing the air in the tires .never will I ever go there again they got me once good but not again ..held my mower hostage until i paid.. had to file a claim with the BBB for a 50 hr oil change only . this is a new mower with only 48 hours on it. I am in my seventies for the way i was treated i had to have another GENERAC. Dealer install it for me

Had trouble with my rider mower steering for past 2 yrs, then unit wouldn't start. It was out of warranty so manufacturer wanted over triple what Midwest quoted me. The end amount was even less than the quote, which made me even more happy! To top it off, they even offer pickup & drop off service. They handled my problem as quick as I do for customers, because no one likes down time. I great job Midwest! Highly recommended!

Great staff in sales and service. The owner is honest and tries to provide the best service possible. I love reading the reviews where people think a fix is soooo simple and shouldnt charge $30 or $40 for such a simple repair.....if it's soooo simple and easy to fix, then do it yourself. Keep up the good work.

I was told by 2 different employees on 2 different occasions to bring my mower in to repair an oil leak as it will be under warranty. They even took my serial number and double checked. Went to pick up mower and was handed a $173 bill. I was told that Ferris would only cover half of the labor. Why wasn’t I told this beforehand? When I complained I was told I should be happy since they were able to warranty the replacement of my starter that worked fine when I dropped it off. To top it off they removed the dealers stickers from where I bought it, damaged my paint and left the glue residue. I will never step foot in this establishment again! I will be sure to tell my friends and family also!

I brought my mower in for a simple repair on Tuesday and by Saturday they have not cared enough to get it done. It is a 10-minute or less repair. The worst thing about a business is when they don't care about their customers. Minimum charge for a simple repair is $42. Midwest Equipment is the wrong choice for mower repairs.

What a great investment in our home! We purchased a whole house Generac generator last year. Midwest recently came out to do the annual service. We are happy with the whole process of purchase, installation, and maintenance. I would highly recommend a Generac purchase from Midwest Equipment to anyone!
