The employee are very helpful. They try to do their best but the rebate system sucks. I bought an upright freezer but I have to manually fill a form then send it to a Menards location to get rebate on a Menards card. Like seriously do we live in 1970s. I thought they will mail it to my home as they have everything they need to send. But I figure out after the limited time window that I have to do all the hassle to get the rebate. In short the rebate program is good but the process sucks!

We came here to buy a pressure washer. It didn't work properly and the managers were very helpful in guiding us to the area the pressure washers are sold to answer any questions as we picked out a different model to exchange for the old one. (We paid the difference in price)

I love their Halloween decorations. If you're at this store dont forget to get them. Highly recommend this store. Employees are always helpful and greet you with a smile.

Menards is always a nice experience you go in and you find things that you need that you didn't even realize you didn't need them! There's always great deals here and sales happening! Right now they have the 11% back on all purchases which is super beneficial. You get a rebate in the mail in a few weeks and can be used in the store. Employees here are usually very helpful and approach the customers to make sure that they are finding everything that they're looking for. Menards is our number one Choice Home Improvement store!

Stopped, detained, and accused us of stealing when we were looking around for prices. (We set some stuff in different areas of the store.) And when told that we were calling the police they kicked us out and told us not to come back. (Edit to reply) The manager was involved, so I will not be contacting him. I will instead terminate all commercial accounts with ALL Menards locations (over 100 total across multiple states) until both the manager and said security guard of this location are fired.

Their advertising jingle is "save big money at Menards," but if you're one who considers time as money, you're not saving anything. The Peoria store has 12 checkout lanes, it is rare to see more than 3 open regardless of the crowd in the store. Good luck if you have to go back to the yard to pick up lumber unless you already know where your item is. The first two guys today were clueless, after multiple tries they finally got someone to answer the radio and provide some direction. Time to start shopping elsewhere and see if the other box stores have a bit more respect for their customers' time.

The rebates they advertise are a complete scam. The rebate is for store credit but that is in fine print and they do their best to hide it from customers until they have spent the money. The worst part is, even though they’re already scamming you by hiding that the rebate is for store credit, they also do their best to make it difficult and time consuming to get the rebate. Go to Lowe’s, Home Depot, or Ace before you let Menards scam you.

Only ever one person at the front desk. Stand in line for 25 minutes to be told that your LP refilling machine is broken when you could have just hung a sign on it so I didn't have to stand there and waste half an hour watching some idiot talk to people instead of doing her job

Menards is a great alternative to Lowe's and home Depot. Their mastercraft tools are good quality and good price. It seems like they always have tools on clearance also.

We bought kitchen cabinets and were deceived on what we were buying. They told us SOME assembly requiredThe only thing assembled were the boxes everything else is in small parts. We called several times to find out what to do some of the parts make absolutely no sense. Be careful on what you buy. It’s all press board and it blows the part when you put your screws in

Super great box store with many unique specialty aisles and corners and products if you're not used to seeing them in a box store. Also unique to Menards is their great mail-in-rebate program that gives you extra discounts. If you need anything to do with a home improvement, or even just work clothes - just try them out. Wide wide range of products.

Menards is my favorite home improvement big box store. They always have a great selection to choose from. Customer service is available if you need help. Most items seem to be less expensive than other stores. They always seem to have what I am looking for.

Worst customer/product service. I'm glad I didn't waste a trip into the store itself. Received a microwave as a gift from work. It stopped working. I looked up the manufacturer and the store came up. Called an was told a manager would call me back because they were helping other customers. Waited 3 days, noone ever called. When I called was told by a mangers that since I don't have a receipt there's NOTHING they can do. What employer gives receipts as a company gift? NONE! Then was told to contact the actual manufacturer because there was a 1 year warranty. The number I was given was not for microwaves and told to call the store where purchased. How convenient about the run around. If I could leave no stars i would!!

not sure if it’s due to my race but this place is absolutely horrible and needs better non-racist workers/management. Unbelievable experience I would recommend you go to Home Depot and Lowe’s I swear they will not make you feel unwanted. Take care.

I had excellent help picking out two vanities, tops and faucet sets for two bathrooms. All I had was the dimensions! The store clerk helped me from start to finish!! Couldn't have asked for better service!!

Customer service in the building dept and outside the building dept was great. Checking lady was also very nice. On the down side there were people in Menard's just walking around the store. Wanted answers on a couple different things we were looking at but could find nobody to help. Then we went out in the yard to pick up what bought. The gate guard was less then pleasant and his response to where we would find our stuff was short and no direction. We were told to ask for help loading and to ask the gate guard and he would get someone to help. After driving around my husband finally went in the store to see what was going on. After about 8 mins the employee he talked to was able to find someone to help us in the yard. My husband heard the employee to tell him to hold his shirt on he would be there. He did show up, directed us to where we needed to be. Threw the first bag of sand in the car and because he threw it, it split open. Sand in the car 😠 I said something to him. He didn't throw anymore bags in the car and he did replace the one he threw in that split open.

This store has almost everything for home repairs, its HUGE. Lots of helpful employees at every turn to ask if you need assistance. Prices are fair for most items. I was surprised to see they have everything you would want for every type of home improvement project, and then some. They are stocked with pet supplies, food and chew toys galore. When we walked in I was pleasantly surprised by the size of this store. It's bigger than Lowe's.

I couldn't have made it these last 4 months without this Menard's. Most of the employees are SO incredibly helpful. From carpet to a door to a snow shovel today 11-01-21! An employee who I failed to get his name even told me what kind of snow shovel to get and he said the flatter one. Great info. The 11% rebate always puts me in a good mood. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Great items at great prices. As with any other place, there are things not worth buying. Very few of those exist at Menard's. Love to take advantage of their 11% sales. There are lots of good deals every week. It seems that their flooring and doors are on sale every week.I also use Menards to buy food items. :) It is my go to place for any item I can get there. Even 99 cent bandages.

Most ridiculoushelp ever. Trying to order cupboards. Young kid had no clue. L ayed everything out all wrong. Figured a bathroom vanity sink instead of kitchen. Working now over a week and still haven't got this problem resolved to order kitchen cabinets. Get your act together!

Clean and friendly, knowledgeable staff is sometimes hard to find. Asked 3 people for waterproof wallboard as I had seen this on a commercial. All of them couldn't get past recommending waterproof drywall. Left disappointed.

It's Menards. Not much to say but the scratch n dent clearance wood section has excellent prices. Also a nice selection of various hardwoods for furniture making. More than a few other Menards locations.

Imagine showing up to a interview, over a 2 hour period/talking to 4 different people. Offered a job, given a date to be screened by. You are given orientation papers as what's to be expected that day, told wait for the call for a orientation day, shaking all 4 peoples hand in confidence you have the job. Only to be called 1 hour later after you leave that the process of hiring you is now canceled due to a rare circumstance. I asked the rare circumstance and was told I couldn't be told what the circumstances are. I get Illinois is a at will state. And it's Menards decision in the end. But wow this is a first for me. Way to go Menards. You deserve 5 stars

Discovered an item they forgot to put in my vehicle after purchase. Explained to supervisor I lived 70 miles away and could they simply refund my cc the $3.49 for the item. Supervisor refused! Said I need to drive the 70 miles back, bring receipt, and if their inventory confirmed I did indeed not receive the item they’d reimburse. I explained where the item was on their property and she said they’d monitor cameras. How some people get in a supervisor role with customer service skills like that is a mystery. She apologized that I was out my money. Bye bye Peoria Menards and hello Home Depot.
