Well the lady at the register was a peach. I put in my phone number for my Military discount. She she kept on demanding a drivers license. Heck I thought she wanted to double check even though I'm on camera and verified. Scanning my licence? That is a shame and feel disrespected. Not only was her personality bland and demanding a license if she told old and grouchy to be nice to people when they do not understand your new process. It bad enough I have to check myself out on camera. Scared if your equipment makes a mistake. I end up the wrong end of the stick. As you can see I am so upset about this. So if I send my family to the store they can't use my discount. They served with me along side going through just as much as we did. This is wrong. Against my rights as well. I hope I hear from someone in your leadership. I just might right the DOD, attorney general, and senator. You never know what leadership your dealing with.Retired USMC.William

We purchased an LG gas cooktop in November 2022. We liked it very much. However, the igniter had a problem and would not turn off. We had purchased an extended warranty. So, I filed a claim and was promptly ignored. It didn’t matter who I spoke with, I was transferred to someone else. They can’t get a part. I need to file another claim. So, I figured I would just go to the source. I tried to call the store manager of my local store in Peoria. I figured since they sold me the appliance, they had some responsibility. At least they had an obligation to help me guide my way through this maze. I will never know because after leaving three messages to have the manager return my call, I discovered that ignoring customers is company wide. As long as I am spending money, I’m a king. When I have an issue I become invisible.Buy at your own risk. Don’t buy an extended warranty unless you have plenty of free time to sit on hold. Don’t expect any help from Lowe’s. It is obvious that they aren’t interested in helping. They got my money, so why would they?Zero stars for service. Zero stars for Lowes.

Delivery guy here , we'll I arrived at 245 to try and get unloaded today I have 14 pallets of mulch. it's the busy season but I am needing to get unloaded . One person said Im Going to lunch . And the other fork lift driver called off. I asked the manager JB. If I could get unloaded he said we don't have anyone available. At 430 I noticed him standing around the front desk till 5pm..another worked said when his manager gets there he will get me unloaded.also there were no trucks here when I arrived and haven't been any . Why are the people that work here so unwilling to do anything?

Customer service at this store leaves a lot to be desired. Contacted store about an item they had in stock but was not able to purchase for in store pickup online. They confirmed they had the item. I offered to pay over phone or whatever was necessary to hold it. Was told I could not pay over the phone however if I gave them my name and phone number they would hold it at customer service for me thru the end of the day. I drove over an hour to get to the store to find out they sold it to another customer and did not even have the courtesy to call and tell me it was no longer available. While at the store I found it available at another store out of state and asked if they could have it transferred to Peoria or ship it to me and they said nope without any further checking into it. Tried calling back a few days later to see if they had any updates on when they may get more back in stock and got transferred to someone that put me on a never ending hold. Hung up in disgust after listening to on hold music for 20 minutes. Such a shame because the customer service at this store used to be the best of the best.

Nice big store that has just about everything you need for the home, garden, etc.. The selection is big from appliances, to building supplies, gardening supplies, tools, lighting, paint and so much more. Nice, courteous and attentive employees. Conveniently located just off Big Hollow and close to War Memorial Drive.

I could honestly care less if they help me or not if this keeps happening I’m going straight to the corporate office and filing a complaint.

Like home depot our third home. Today may 12th 2024 the young lady working at the service desk at 1228pm was exceptional nice. We were the third in line and she was so pleasant to everyone even the difficult customers ahead of us. Cheers

Always like going to Lowe’s verse some of the other big box store. Just seems like there are more staff there to help you find what you needs and also knowledgeable in multiple areas, or there find somebody to help you.

Found what I needed with the help of some of the associates. Went through the self check to be quicker, but should have known better, I managed to grab 2 pieces of wood with no upc code on them. The gentleman manning the self check lane was great and tried to help, but the cashier took his handheld and he couldn't call for assistance. He asked her to call for help and she yelled at him and was very rude to him. He managed to get help from another associate to call for him, and the lady who came over was very nice and helpful and got the prices we needed.

I put in an online order for same day pickup. I didn't receive an e-mail or text confirmation but I noticed that I was still charged for the purchase. I tried calling the store but no one ever picked up, so I went in later that afternoon. I unfortunately didn't save the order number after making the purchase, so they couldn't pull anything up. They couldn't find my order with either my phone number or e-mail either.I ended up having to talk to Brian the assistant store manager. He was very unhelpful. No customer service skills whatsoever. Just kept telling me that he didn't see an order as if I was lying about putting one in. Only advice given was to talk to my bank. I did call them and filed a dispute.I would recommend NOT doing pickup at this Lowe's location. They don't answer their phones, their management is very unhelpful and I put in an order & was subsequently charged even though they had no evidence of an order even being placed.

Ask for help....guy was busy said he would be with me. Proceeded to show pictures to coworker and then left and never helped. Had to go to customet service only to have him show up 5 minutes later. Had to return purchase and a manager stood there and carried on a conversation with a friend instead of helping. Evidently alot of the employees just wanna stand around and talk. Im actually literallty still standing in line.Update 6 years later. No cashiers, only self check out during middle of the day. Had to stand in like for almost 10 minutes for 1 person, because they only have 1 machine that takes cash.

I tried to buy 2 storm doors and have them installed by a contractor from Lowe’s. The people in the retail store were great, but there was no customer service from the contractor. The contractor claimed to have called me, but If they called, they never left a voicemail, and then they had the audacity to cancel my order!!! Nothing says I don’t want your business like refusing to do a job you are supposed to do!!! The clerk at Lowe’s refunded me the $35 fee they charged for measuring the door area. Poor service from their local contractor merits the one star review. I wish it could be zero stars. Lowe’s has also lost my future business.

I'm trying to tile my bathroom and placing pickup orders through the website is a NIGHTMARE. But when I went to the Peoria location there was one woman in the flooring department around my age (20s or early 30s) who was so, so, SO helpful! She ran around the store to find the stock of tiles I tried to place a hold on, was unable to, and then had to come grab the next day. So shout out to whomever she was working around 11:30 AM on 8/27/23. Obviously I didn't catch her name but she rocks!!!

I love Lowes BUT the bathroom's in this one are disgusting! The toilet paper holder was laying on the floor. Paper towels all over the floor. It was so gross

With friend buying toliet. One lowes employee just stood and watched us pull down and look at product. Only talked when e asked questions.Then went to pain asked about latex high gloss enamel. Girl told me there was no such thing.Ended that trip to lowes

Went into the Peoria store to try to get info on composite decking. No one at the “Pro” Desk would even make eye contact. Scheduled an appointment on line and clearly stated I wanted an estimate for redecking over 800 sq ft for three decks with composite decking. A pretty significant job. Got a reply back saying Christopher W would be there at 2:28pm. Finally got a call from him at 5pm saying they only do new decks. Typical Lowes, horrible management …no longer a customer.

Went to return a product within the 90 days with a receipt and they wouldn’t return it! It was a sink and it was defective with a crack in it! Also the the store manager was a a**hole and very unprofessional! He was harassing me and making fun of my clothes! He should be fired immediately In my opinion, I would recommend going to the east location which had no problem returning the sink! They’re way more professional there!

Do not, I repeat, do not go to this store. If you want to support selfish jerks who treat their employees like garbage, you have found the perfect store! However, if you do not want to patronize a store managed by money-grabbing, disgusting upper management, you may want to consider a store with some sort of moral code for their leaders.

Super slow service. Came back the next day to return the three flooring items I ordered. I brought them all back in the original box that I received it in. They told me they would only give me credit for 1/3 items.They told me they had no record of the other two items, but the lowes employee was the one who placed the order for me and they could see all three of them in the box. They said the best they could do is give me a store credit for the other the other two but no refund.After they looked into it more they gave the full refund, but they still continued to be very inefficient and waste my time. Home Depot in Peoria has way better customer service
