What super nice people they had 3 guys come out to guide me in cause you have to blind side back into their dock. As they told me just go.slow and we will guide you in and just like that your in the dock.Fast unload of trailer load of grass seed 45,900 pounds.Thanks so much to everyone here for your hospitality

I've shopped at Kelly Seed and Hardware for many years now. All my gardening seeds and many of my supplies are purchased here. They are always knowledgeable, helpful, and busy at planting time but they are always worth the drive to downtown Peoria Illinois, and always worth the effort to shop here. I find the seeds may be slightly higher cost but the results I get are worth the extra bit. Their seeds always work well for me. Thank you so very much for your knowledgeable staff and great seeds.

I came to find a plastic rain gauge container but didn't have any. This place is family owned and operated. The place is good and friendly to shop in with a wide variety of yard ornaments, bird feeders, bird houses and pretty much everything to keep your yard looking Great!!!! I will continue to shop here. Downtown peoria il. Worth the trip to go there.

Always thought it was at kind of an odd location given the business; a lawn and garden store in downtown Peoria? That said you can't beat the place for birds, gardens, and yards.

Kelly Seed is always great. Today I bought 10lbs of grass seed. I didn't know what kind I needed of course but when you go to Kelly's it doesn't really matter much their friendly knowledgeable staff are helpful without being pushy or judgemental, they just plain help. Got my seed, shopped around a little and headed on out. Easy parking, easy entrance, close to interstate 74 and downtown Peoria. Always a nice experience.

I bought a $20 chemical probably 45 days ago. I cannot find the receipt, after generations of shopping at this location… The best of the owner was willing to do was in-store credit- after I was told if I wasn’t using the chemical I could bring it back. Nobody told me I only had 30 days to do that, this is a perfect example of why people quit shopping locally, the pig chain store would’ve given me my money back so I guess that’s who will be getting my money in the future. Ps- he was terribly rude also. 👎🏼

Well stocked with garden and field seed and plants. All types of garden supplies, fertilizers, plant supplements insecticide, herbicides fungicides,tools yard supplies and decor. Also a lot of hardware and stuff to do repairs. They have a wonderful friendly staff that are very experienced and knowledgeable about everything there and then some. They are very helpful and attentive to their customers. Plenty of parking and they help load bulky or heavy stuff in your vehicle. I love this place and have been going there about 40 years or more. And will continue to do so.

I arrived at Kelly Seed yesterday looking for tomato plants just as they were closing. They already had the garden center locked up and asked me to come back another time. I'd already had a hot afternoon of frustrations and I left a bad review here they didn't deserve - which I deleted. So I apologize for that. I've been a customer of theirs for over 30 years and they always have good advice, friendly staff, and top notch bedding plants.

It was good I bout some flowers and seed to plant in my flower bed I like Kelly seed this is all I have to say about Kelly seed and store.some of the flower was dead when I got home. I planted them but they didn't came up but most of them come up. the others come up in the fall and next year that's all for now God bless you all ❤ 🙏

They give great advice in fertilizer when you notice that something is not quite right. I love the athletic mix of grass seed as it is perfect for higher traffic lawns. I get seed by the pound and seed potatoes. I love the variety of plants they have on hand right when it is best to plant them.

Went in for grass seed and fertilizer. Person helping me calculated how much seed and fertilizer needed for my yard. Was sold waaaaaay too much fertilizer. Went back to return what was oversold and the man helping with the return was not at all nice. He asked me why I bought so much if I wasn't going to use it. I had already explained the reason. I explained again that I didn't know what I needed when I came in and trusted the calculations and advice of the people who worked there. I might add, that was the first time I'd been to Kelly Seed as an adult. If I go back, I'll be sure to know exactly what I want and the quantity ahead of time. Don't want to be unnecessarily scolded again!

Awesome! I had never bren in before and on a whim decided it was long past due. This is as close to an old fashioned mercantile as you can get these days. TONS of seed and bulbs, a few trinkets, so unique tools and lots more! We will be going back especially to Christmas shop.

If your looking for seeds this is the place to go especially if you want more than just a small package. The folks here are super helpful and knowledgeable and willing to help. Reasonable prices I might ad.
