I rolled the dice and used an online florist. HyVee got my order and I was floored when the order was delivered. Nothing close to what I ordered, in looks or cost. I stopped by the store, and even though they were totally slammed, they were apologetic and polite. One of the managers said she'd make it right, and as the second photo shows, boy did she ever. Fantastic save for my Valentine!

Great location I just wish they would do better with their prices they're getting outrageous this is Hy-Vee this is a family grocery store these prices are supposed to be affordable no matter what's going on in the country we're going to come shop we're going to buy food we're always going to be there every day. They need more employees also in the store they need more in the aisles helping you giving you suggestions answering questions. Also they need to be open later this is ridiculous some of us work late and we get off and we just want to go to the Butcher and get a steak and they're already closed back there

I love the variety at Hyvee. The selection of glass bottled soda keep me coming back. They changed the formula of their brand of cherry cola. It used to taste like maraschino cherry. Then tasted like maple syrup cola. I tried it again a year later, the same deal. I've been afraid to try it again. Prices can be high, but fuel rewards and knowing I'm supporting a store that seems to take care of their employees makes it worth it. I love the sushi, but results may vary depending on the preparer.

Cashier told me that she hadn't charged me for items that I was charged for. She told me that the receipt didn't print and it couldn't be reprinted. Surprise, I was overcharged. The store wouldn't fix their error, and I never received a response to my complaint to the corporate office. I filed a credit card charge back that they fought. Why would I ever shop there again?I received a reply from your bot. Sorry, it's too late for you to save my business.

The young man at checkout out was friendly with a pleasant demeanor. He doubled bagged the items that needed to be without me asking him to, and courteously gave me the easy to crush items separately.The gentleman in the produce department was abrupt.Overall, it was still a pleasant experience.

Friendly staff. You can get hot meals to eat there or take home- cooked there! Love baked goods. Although I got a pan of pulled pork and pulled chicken for a big gathering - driest meat I've ever had-90% of it went in the garbage-a waste of $100.00

Hy-vee is by far the best chain grocery store in the area. Great selection and prices. Employees are usually very helpful. I had a great experience with the 2 deli workers. They were both very nice and helpful. They above and beyond to make suggestions and provide fast service. Very impressive. Great store.

Absolutely amazing store! First time going and will definitely be doing our grocery shopping here from now on! Great selection/prices. Love that they have a Starbucks and restaurant inside. The meat counter is absolutely awesome! We got our first meat bundle and will definitely be getting more! Can’t beat it!!

The place was clean and well stocked. However there were things I disliked about my experience. I’ll never understand wrapping produce in plastic, especially organic produce. The cashier kept licking her fingers to count out my change. A handle of a bag ripped as the bagger put it in my cart and he did not replace it.

Hy-Vee employees are wonderful. The last couple times I had to get help with the Isles online. Alissa and Allison from the Peoria Sheridan store were so great. They have a wide variety of items to choose from. Some things are expensive but they have great sales too.

Would not recommend their pharmacy, used to be the best, but recently over that last few months, they have lost my trust and confidence in them to handle my medicine. Miss handling prescriptions or saying they never received them when they were assured from doctor that it was sent into them. Then saying yes we can refill meds. Just to be told two hours later, we can't fill due to no prescription, when in fact a tech said I had nothing to do with that transaction. I never talked to her at that instance. In addition two months ago there training told my script wasn't a priority after having painful surgery had to call doctor to get filled that night.

Beware the refrigerated bagels, there are some in there that went bad in APRIL. I’ve been avoiding this store like the plague over these past few months bc like. It’s June! Come on! I even told a manager there early on about the mold and the expired bagels and he did literally nothing about it and didn’t even apologize or act like it was out of the norm. This store used to be so good, and now it’s like they don’t care.

I really like the specialty items in the deli area. I needed some specific stuff that the other stores did have any of and hyvee had all of the items. May have been a little more expensive but this time I didn't mind.

This is my grocery place to go. Always find what I am looking from, excelent customer service, fresh produce, good deli, good meat department. All you need grocerie in one place. Somehow more expensive than Walmart but worth it by the freshness and the looks. There is also a sushi counter, Chinese food, baked pizza, etc. It is price similar with Kroger but this Hy-Vee locationooks better than the Kroger location across the street. It also has a little restaurant but I can not tell you anything about it because I never ate there. Whenever I go shopping I see almost nobody at the restaurant ...

Watch dates on items. Store started out great but now in the last month I've had multiple out of date items. Greek yogurt, jello, rice, meds to name a few. One day I found about 7 different snack cake boxes out of date and started putting on floor when I got to about 20 I contacted the Mgr. By the time he was done shelf 3/4empty on all 3 sides

Our favorite place to go for groceries. So glad that it was built near our house. Makes it nice and easy to make a run for groceries, food, dinner, whatever we need. Good selection and we've always like the prices too.

Absolutely the worst possible shopping experience. The quality of the products has severely degraded over the past few years. Within the past few months, I've bought potatoes with eyes on them, completely rotted garlic, milk that was inexplicably on the shelf 1 day prior to expiration, and amazingly a 24 case of Coke that had several literally empty cans. I've been yelled at by a clerk in the liquor section for checking out with a single item of produce (I initially thought she was jokingly angry; she was in fact very seriously angry). The absolute last straw with this place is forcing everyone into self checkout. Today most of the machines were inoperable due to broken scales. This store is now no better than a Walmart, except we're still paying top dollar. Amidst all of this, Hyvee is posting record profits. I hate this store, I hate their greedy and inept management, and I hate that they're casually screwing the people of mu town. I will never shop here again.

Used to be better. I aways find discrepancies between shelf price and register price. A lot of the items I can get for 30 to 50 percent less at other stores. I find outdated product for sale regularly. The multiple lanes of self checkouts really don't portray a good look for an employee owned store, nor is it convenient when over half of them don't work. Maybe they need work life balance too, idk. Restricting movement due to theft and the endless soliciting of fundraisers going in and out of the store is far from inviting. Now people are shopping with dogs in their carts like it's normal, that's plain gross.

While I live in Chillicothe Illinois I go to Hy-Vee in Peoria because I like their meats. I like the quality and the sale prices are much better

Employees at this store are friendly and helpful. Excellent customer service, with rare unfortunate exceptions. Pharmacy employees are truly exceptional.However, food quality, especially in bakery and produce, isn't always acceptable. Today I was put off by a pile of mouldy cantaloupe that they were trying to unload for $3.Without exception, any rolls, donuts, or cookies baked in-store have been disappointing. I've needed to return stale or greasy donuts, rolls and undercooked cookies to the bakery. There is no quality control over in-store-produced items.Admittedly I no longer purchase their in-store baked goods, so maybe some items have improved. I've heard their sheet cakes are good.HyVee prices most staples at least 20% higher than competitors. Some items are double or triple the cost.There are usually 5 or more sale items priced low enough to get customers in the door... and apparently there are many gullible customers that do the bulk of their shopping there.It's a pleasant, clean place to shop. But not if you want pallatable baked goods. And not if you want to save money.I need to revise my description of "a pleasant place to shop". Changing to self-serve checkout is fine... IF the goal is to speed up customer wait time to check out.Inexplicably, Hy-vee's clueless weekend manager closed down self-serve checkout lanes, resulting in a longer wait time for customers. WHY would a store that brags about its service INTENTIONALLY inconvenience customers by closing lanes???

Spotty produce, constantly out of stock on staple items, and they keep destocking favorite items forcing us to go to other stores locally. Worst bakery bread in town. They have a large selection of "different" loaves of bread that are basically all the same type of bread but shaped differently. Their baguette is really just a large Italian loaf.
