It's the Best of the Family Dollar stores in Peoria. It's in the old Thompson Food Basket on Western. The store may need to be remodeled but the staff keeps it clean and organize. You need only to ask and you're assisted right away. The manager is always professional.

The assistant manager told me undoubtedly you cannot purchase items unless you have exact change because I tried to purchase garbage bags, and freezer bags with a $10.00 bill and she the assistant manager claimed that was a large bill and she couldn't take it I'd have to get change and come back to make my purchase I have not only been a customer you know this white boy which is insulting1. I am Creek not white2 I stopped at the Harmon highway store and had no problem making my purchaseThis not the first time I have had a problem with this person andI was once a contractor and family Dollar was one of my customers and that was one of the stores in which I was a vender

I had a very nice experience at this location , and beside the clerks being very friendly& helpful, it was the 1st time I've been in the store since HS, when I worked there, when it was a popular grocery store. Sharing some of that w/the clerks was nice.

FAMILY DOLLAR ,That's another wonderfull place to shop! Especially when I need and large pull KART to put my GROCERY IN.YOU PURCHASED YOUR KART THERE AND THE PRICE IS REASONABLE.OH YOU NEED WATER THEY HAVE SIXPACKS OF WATER FOR AND $1 OR AND GALLON OF WATER! ALSO MEN AND WOMEN THEY HAVE WONDERFUL HAIR PRODUCTS FOR THE WHOLE ENTIRE FAMILY AND IF YOU NEED TOILET PAPER AND HOUSE ITEMS THATS THE PLACE TOO SHOP!YES IF YOU AND HEALTHY SIZE INDIVIDUAL THEIR ARE CLOTHING JUST FOR YOU! FOR US LADIES THEY HAVE STRETCHE PANTS AND VERY WONDERFUL FLOWING TOPS AND VARIETY OF SHOES FOR THE WHOLE ENTIRE FAMILY. STOP IN AND VISIT FAMILY DOLLAR LIKE I DID!
