Dirtiest floor I've ever seen in a dollar general, didn't even shop here. Walked out and left after I saw the cheapest soap for 3$ lol some slum lord is running this place...

Rude employees. Shouldn't be running the store without proper training. Management needs to work on customer relations with employees and better training on their own systems, including cash registers, digital app and store signage. Cashier unable to explain digital coupon app. Then when I requested she check signage, I had to explain how their own sale works. 2nd employee was rude, with crazy eyes and tattoo on her chest, refunded me the overage for buy one get one 50% off (over refunded me) and scolded me for getting upset staff didn't understand their own system. She said corporate was awaiting my call about their baby pools blocking the front entrance. (They leave you 1.5' to get in the door and I tripped on their display) She then told me loudly to have a happy Easter and that I was banned. Check out one of the 2 lines and the receipt she gave me. I didn't get a receipt for all my purchase, just the one posted here. I sure will call corporate on Monday. I hope she enjoys her time off. I'll also be calling the local rep for Americans with Disabilities. Google doesn't allow me to upload the video of the display blocking the door.

Place is absolute garbage. Used to have good management....not any more. Employees don't care and it shows. Can never move around in the store.....always have stock carts in the isles. Place is just plain dirty. Always have long lines of people with only one register open. Was informed today that it's broken. Here's an idea.....BE A MANAGER AND HAVE IT FIXED. Have lost my business, I would rather go the extra distance for good service. If I were dollar general I wouldn't allow them to put the DG name on their building.....they sure give them a bad name.

This store is always dirty there’s always a long line wrapped around the store. It is now 8:08am and it doesn’t even look like anyone is here. The lights are on, but the store is still closed. There is always stock in the middle of the isles. How is the store still in business?? It’s now 8:13, and several customers have pulled in and had to leave after realizing they are still not open. What a shame!!

The employees are very nice. The problem I have is the floors are gross. They need to rent a buffer and scrub them and then use an acrylic professional wax and shine them up. Then all you would need to do is dust mop and wet mop. It would make the rest of your store look so much better. I don't like going in because it always feels filthy dirty.

Love my Dollar store in Evergreen Square. Always clean and stocked most of the time. Had a great fridge area with a awesome choice of steam or frozen vegetables. The team they have working here no their stuff and works hard not to keep you waiting.

12/2/21; attempted to purchase items at this store using digital coupons. (Poor selection) Asked the cashier to Give me my subtotal prior to paying for items and asked about the coupons I attached to my account. He quickly stated that he didn't know anything about coupons and if they weren't working or didn't work it must be my phone, not "his" store. ??? Very unwilling to help in ANY way, smart, kurt, rude and scarcastic.Called the store SEVERAL times after lvg (without purchasing of course) to obtain the manager's name, whaddya no? No answer. (Not surprised.) Apparently customer service is not a primary focus at this store. Will I go back? Not a chance. Promptly went to the Western Ave store in my city and the cashier was extremely helpful.

EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. Why anyone would shop here when Dollar Tree has the same things for significantly less. The item I looked for here was FOUR TIMES as expensive as Dollar Tree. I saw many items similarly overpriced. It was shocking.

It is fun to shop at, makes me feel like a kid again. Surprise everytime I visit it. Even has items that I can use for my N Scale model train set.

The cashier here was EXCEPTIONAL. she was pleasant, helpful, efficient and she even paid the remaining 50 cents or so I was short to purchase their last auxiliary cord which I desperately wanted for my imminent lengthy road trip. I was surprised and grateful for her willingness to so generously help. Surely she's an asset to DG. They should be proud of the way she represents the company. I wish I could remember her name! It was a Wed or Thursday evening, Aug 21/22???

Since all large grocery stores have abandoned Peoria south of War Memorial Drive, this is what we're left with. Small shop with lots of items, and as I was leaving the supply truck just pulled up to load even more in. Decent prices, got everything I needed with a few sale items, and friendly staff. I've only been a few times but am planning on visiting more often just to support the neighborhood before they bolt also. No you can't really use this as your primary grocery store but for a quick bottle of ketchup, toilet paper or the like it's fine. A lot easier to get in and out of than those megastores by a longshot. Thank you for staying with us.

Always dirty always cluttered staff isn't all that great I guess you work where you fit in lol not trying to be rude but just seems that way every time I ever been in there. If you need something and your right there then yes go in but if you are just going to go don't waste your time 😉

This store is always cluttered and disorganized. I got a nerf gun, price beneath $1. When it was rung up, $4. This is not the first time I've had this issue!! However, they young lady at the register did end up changing me $1.

Great for quick pick up of one or two items. Good prices on every day household items. Store is in an older building. Not always cleanest. But staff is helpful and courteous.

Look, my girlfriend and I are big on the house always smelling good and what not so she used to drag me to Bath & Body Works all the time for candles and as much as I love tagging along it started to hurt my wallet. Dollar General came to the rescue. Cheap. Candles.

My visit shopping was great!Last summer it was so unstocked and dirty ...bad service..then..New management and employees. And wow what a difference..I will be shopping there again...

Evadently they close at 5 on wensdays now. Very inconvenient for those who get off at 5 and just need to pick up a quick ingredient instead of going to the grocery store.

Cramped aisles and too many things in a small area. It isn't very clean but the staff is friendly and you can find things that you may need with time.
