Overcharged me for my prescriptions. They never asked if I had insurance, and my information should have been on file. Only found out when Walgreens on Knoxville filled my next prescription and automatically applied my insurance and charged 1/3 of the price I paid at CVS.

CVS is the by far the worst pharmacy I have ever done business with. They fill medications two weeks before you need them. Even the ones that are take,as needed. The employees are a bunch of airheads.

This pharmacy has employed a pharmacist who I believe is a danger to the Peoria Community. Don, pharmacist, refused to fill my Rx and chose to put his uninformed opinion in place of my doctor’s medical degree. As a survivor of unimaginable domestic violence, the fact that Don the Pharmacist is fully unaware of DV Programs to protect the confidentiality & address of DV survivors (from their attackers finding them) gives him no right to pry into my personal reasons for living in multiple Central IL towns (after fleeing DV). Housing instability is the direct result of domestic violence & Don the privileged, white male pharmacist is apparently so insulated from such societal issues as to claim I made up the IL Address Confidentiality Program with the IL AG’s Office. Not only did I not lie about it, as a trained litigation specialist, I helped create the Program in December 2019 while working with IL lawmakers. I also previously provided CVS pharmacy with all of the corresponding paperwork and my ID as a participant in the Program. For Pharmacist Don to actively discriminate against a survivor of DV and to also interrogate them about why they have lived where they have in the aftermath of unimaginable violence is egregious.CVS on University has actively chosen to hire someone who retraumatizes & discriminates against survivors of DV. Given that October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, do better CVS. Please hire POC as Pharmacists who might have known struggle & trauma in their lived experience & therefore might LISTEN to your customers rather than wholly invalidate them. This man needs to be immediately fired as I believe he is a danger to the community in Peoria & should not have access to people’s addresses & private information. I now fear my personal safety & security is compromised because of his invasive interrogation & abusive treatment of me. And I wonder how many other women Pharmacist Don is actively terrorizing while denying them their lifesaving, valid medications. Shame on you, CVS. Are you really this desperate for employees that you would hire such an overt incompetent into your pharmacy staff? I have filed formal Complaints about this incident with 5 Agencies and have been advised by my family attorney to file criminal charges against this man. I hope his liability insurance is paid up because I will have a pack of Chicago lawyers and a lawsuit on file over this by the end of the month. Fire Don now, CVS!

The pharmacist on Sunday absolutely refused to accept or fill my prescription. When the nurse tried to call it in he marked them as closed even though it was 2:30 and they do not close until 5:00 pm

The Pharmacy Department is one of the BEST in Peoria. The Staff is extremely helpful, concerned & eager to meet customer needs. I was SURPRISED when the Pharmacist informed me my medication was NO CHARGE.It was in a Category Schnucks has set as NO CHARGE for men. Since they have medications at NO CHARGE for women, they didn’t want to leave us males out.
