Costco is great for buying in bulk. I like buying paper towels and toilet paper. The prepared meals such as chicken fettuccine alfredo fajita kit, lasagna and more are very good and fresh heat and eat meals under 20.00. The pastries are delicious and always fresh. In the frozen aisle they have really good pizza it comes packaged in a box of two Motor City Pizza Company brand. Super good the crust is so good too. Update: was back at Costco today and found chocolate covered strawberries in the freezer section. They are fantastic! Yummy.

It offers all the good things you expect from a Costco location. Very clean and well lit. Usually not crowded, at least not as crowded as other locations in bigger cities.Gas station lines are usually short, although prices are not very attractive (a couple local gas stations often have similar prices). I heard you can get better prices on Thursdays.Store closes early on the weekends so check the schedule before you go.

Probably the worst place in all of central IL every worker I had any contact with was vary rude and acted as if they own the world or at least the little place that gave them a job being nasty to the customers must be in there training because they all do that well . only thing good about my year membership is now I know I will definitely not continue this abuse, didn't have even one good experience with this place starting from the first when I got the membership. The manager must be a real hard a.. To have all the employees so conceded and awful. I hope they can escape and hope they don't take it home and treat there family so bad

There is an article in the Costco Connection magazine about a couple, empty nesters, that shop at Costco. They are wise at what they buy just because of the volume of items you have to make sure of how it fits your lifestyle. So it’s a great place to shop their stores are clean the isles are wide to accommodate the carts, and the prices of their merchandise are budget friendly.

Costco Peoria is about an hour drive from Springfield. Need I say with the rating that it is worth the trip! We had arranged an appointment to have a set of new tires installed on our SUV. The tire shop was ready for us and we decided to shop while the installation was completed. Christmas plants, toys, decorations and many new items were being perused by the shoppers. The store was crowded yet orderly, especially in the checkout lanes. My wife had misplaced her membership card and without missing a beat, a new card was created which earned a broad smile from her. As per usual, our tab at checkout was more than intended. We find that this the norm as we discovered items we knew came in for, yet there were so many other “tempting buys” that somehow made it into our cart. The tire store had texted us that the vehicle was ready long before we were finished with finding out what was new or interesting to us. Costco is premier shopping outlet that we enjoy visiting. Finally, before we headed back to Springfield, we filled the gas tank for under $3 per gallon.

Filled my gas tank at the Costco gas station in East Peoria this morning. My license plate sticker on my car expired yesterday. The attendant at that gas station was going around the lot telling people there stickers were expired. I wasn't the only one. It isn't his job to be the sticker police. I didn't appreciate it. Stick to your job.

Went in for chocolate covered strawberries today but sadly they had already sold out, however when we were there we came across the woman who was talking to people about upgrading their gold card to an executive card and reaping the benefits by getting their credit card & getting 1%- 4% back on purchases. We were approved and went up to the service desk to get our new cards. They were pretty busy since it was Saturday but we only had to wait maybe 10 minutes. The process was easy and we got our pictures retaken for our new cards. The employees are always friendly especially Kitty at the service desk! Unfortunately we left without chocolate covered strawberries but looks like we'll be earning some cash back with our new credit card!

I've been to many Costcos, however the East Peoria Costco location is easily one of the cleanest, friendliest and best managed Costcos I've been to. I would highly recommend purchasing a membership if you need items in bulk quantities or need to make a large purchase. Pricing is quite competitive.

Heads up for everybody that enjoyed the $10 pizzas. If you're not a member, you can no longer buy them. They refuse my service at the store first time since 2012. Good luck to you.

I bought denon receiver and it broke in the first 8months , I reached out to local store, no return or exchange! I have to send to across state to be repaired, no repair businesses in Ill! No help from Costco! Amazon has a much better return policies and this was the first time in bought from another store ! And last time! Amazon is the best forget the rest! Buyer beware!

Always a quick and easy in and out. However, some drivers in the parking lot really need to pay attention. It's not a pit stop it's a parkin lot.

Love Costco ! When I walked in to Costco it was sensory overload. I could have spent a lot longer shopping on my first visit. Good quality name brand products and higher quality food products than Walmart available here. Costco sells fresh baked bakery items as well as heat and eat fresh made meals. You must purchase a membership card to shop here is the only drawback.

Huge warehouse, a place to buy in bulk. Great premade foods at the deli. At the front of the store is a food cafeteria, with exceptionally tasty food (pizza by the slice, churros, ice cream). Got to have a membership to come in the store or go with a friend who has one.

Quality and necessities.Best value: hot dog and a drink for $1.50. Parking is great with wide lanes for loading. Need to identify parking aisles in case the customer forgets.

Was in the line to check receipts and the worker was friendly and talkative to the 8 people in front of me, so I greet him and make small talk just for him to give me a dirty look and just swipe my receipt with his highlighter and not say a word. You can tell he definitely has a prejudice against heavily tattooed people. Will be canceling my membership asap.

One star due to the cashier who made my transaction a big deal because I had two separate transactions. I was shopping with my daughter who had driven me to Costco due to the fact that I have Epilepsy, and while we were there I wanted to pay for the items that I got for her on a separate card, but the cashier wanted to know if my daughter had a card and asked for her driver's license or ID. It made no sense what so ever, and even the customer in line behind me chimed in to state that the whole situation was ridiculous.

Sunday was so busy. We stopped by the food court before going shopping. I ordered the cheese pizza and i was told it would be a few minutes. It was 1.99 a slice; it had just come out of the oven. It was very good. I got silverware, and I like you can get 1 piece at a time. It did melt the tips if the fork it was so hot. The cheese was dripping over the side.
