I’ve been taking my pets here for 5 years and have never had any problems. The staff are always friendly and nice to my babies. Payment plan options are always a nice option if needed. Love that they don’t discriminate against pitbulls.

I have been trying to think of any con to coming here and I literally cannot find anything to complain about when it comes to Banfield. The staff is wonderful, it's reasonably priced, and my dog is actually excited to go to the vet's now. Highly recommend.

Every other vet office I called refused to be transparent about their pricing. Banfield was the exception. Based on my cat's known history and his symptoms, they were able to tell me which tests they would want to start with and the costs of those tests. I knew going in where we were starting and the possibility we might need additional care. The care was also really good and their entire team was professional and empathetic. You can tell they all really care about what they do.

I can only give Banfield 4 stars....love the plans...so WORTH every $!! However, due to the lack of Banfields in PetSmart across the US, its just not worth over an 1 1/2 drive.

The techs and vet were all very helpful and friendly, and they were great with our dog. Being able to schedule everything online was super helpful, and while I was leery of a monthly plan at first, they're not much more than we pay our previous vet monthly for meds anyway, and we'll come out ahead with services. We have since added a plan for our cat.

I’m giving this place a 5 star rating overall the best expansion ever! My dog had a reaction to something. And they were able to squeeze me in that same day! Not expensive. And everyone was very friendly and understanding!

Don't go there they charge you 58 dollars for a office visit my dog needed some meds for his ear they said 350 dollars for this meds and I googled the meds it right in front of them online the same meds they try to charge me 350 dollars for was 50 dollars online and I needed a prescription for it I paid my 58 dollars for my office visit they said they won't write me a prescription they wanted me to pay the 350 300 dollars more than online be careful and check the price of the meds before you purchase them cause 300 dollars more than it worth be aware of this company taking advantage of the people that love they pets by charging you over 6 times more

They made a mistake with scheduling, I drive almost an hour here to find out the appointment time has already passed. Catherine called me and left a voicemail saying that my appointment was confirmed for 4:30pm today. I drive here and I am told the appointment was for 3:30pm and they were able to honor the time that I originally reserved online. Despite me having a voicemail from Catherine, they refused to see my dog then told me that if I felt she was in need of a vet today that I should take her to an emergency vet clinic. When I persisted the receptionist told me that given the symptoms that I was describing they’d want to keep the dog all day for observation, so a 3:30pm appointment wouldn’t have done much. Completely ridiculous especially given that the symptoms were told to them with the original appointment request. The amount of excuses they had to avoid responsibility for their mistake is infuriating. This place lacks accountability, compassion, and customer service.I hope it works out for someone else, but I’d never give my money to a place that clearly doesn’t respect me or my time and, most importantly, doesn’t care about my pet.

My dog Rory is always well treated just as if he were their dog. I love the reminders they send me when he is due for a service. He got sick once and they got him in immediately. Their Vet was wonderful to take the time to explain things to me I had questions about as I was a new puppy Mom. I highly recommend Banfield.

Scheduled an appointment and when I got there they informed me they were an hour behind and that it would be a 2 hour wait before I could pick up my dog. Understandable, sometimes things happen no one plans for but I wish they would have called to reschedule rather than tell me only once I’m up there. However, my dog was still with them 3 hours after dropping him off with no information on him and the “15 minute wait” once I asked when he’d be done turned into another hour of waiting while watching dogs I saw come in 20 minutes prior happily go to their owners. He was only suppose to have a general checkup, 2 shots and a test. That’s not an hour’s worth of work, let alone 3. The front desk was patient and friendly and the prices were fair but that’s all I can say for this place. Probably won’t be going back and won’t be recommending it.

It can definitely get very busy here and be prepared to wait sometimes, but the staff are all very efficient and do their best to get you and your pet taken care of quickly. I am on the puppy Wellness plan, which is $42/ month, all vaccines included ( puppies need quite a few), the spay was covered, several dewormers, etc. It is a great deal!

We have been taking our girl to Banfield in East Peoria, IL since we got her. She is almost eight now. (We got her when she was 2 months.) The staff is friendly, loving and caring. I feel like our dog gets good care there. Love the pay plans they have there. Makes everything so easy.

I didn't feel like my experience was as good as it could have been. I won't go on about the whole experience but I felt rushed and uncared for. Not great professionalism. Not terrible. Didn't think it was a great value. Even after the free first vet visit coupon. Wouldn't say it was great. Will be taking my cats back to Lang Animal Clinic in Pekin after trying Banfield. No I'm not paid. Just a customer.

The people I interacted with were very nice. But all we needed done was a simple spay of our cat. She's had seizures ever since! She did not have this problem before they did whatever it was they did to mess her up. So if your pet needs surgery find someone else!!

I've had two scheduled visits with my 2 Male kittens, for check-up and shots. Everything went wonderful for me and them. Everyone in the clinic was nice and professional. Positive experience, and affordable for me.

I have taken my dog here for over two years. We have purchased the preventative health plan for her, that includes vaccinations, two comprehensive exams a year, a teeth cleaning, and access to the doctor in an emergency. My dog, who is very timid, readily goes to the techs workout being afraid. I appreciate their care for her.

They always have a coupon for your pets first visit. They are accommodating, courteous, and kind. However, they are not a full service veterinarian. My dog's mouth was injured and they refused to see us because they said that is not a surgery they could do.

I had an urgency to take my cat in for a urinary blockage. The staff was extremely nice and easy to talk to. Also, they were fast and efficient. Most of all the vet Dr. Ryan Cooley is by far the best vet I have ever had. Not only was he extremely kind and friendly. His willingness to explain and teach was very reinsuring. I felt very comfortable around him. I was not afraid to ask him questions or feel judged. He took great care of my pet’s health and wellbeing. He also made me feel better as a pet owner with the knowledge that I gained. Dr. Cooley is a very genuine vet and hope he will continue to work at Bainfield. I can not thank him and the staff enough for all that have done for my poor cat.

Went to drop off my cat for a check-up, in a full harness and leash. First woman behind the counter was large and a little heavy set completely ignored me. 2nd woman came from the back and asked if we needed help. I had asked several times how much the basic shots would be, 4 times, before they gave me a general idea of what that would be. After "checking in", I was told, "let me run and get something real quick before taking your cat back.".... 20 minutes later,a "nurse" with red scrubs walks out and tells me, "we can take your cat back without a kennel this time, but you must bring a kennel to receive your cat back."I replied, "He is in a full harness and leash, and has been perfectly calm around every animal around me in my arms."The Nurse explains, "I've watched someone here have a cat bit at the neck from a dog that jumped on the owner and ripped the cat from his arms. We require cats to be in kennels when you bring them in."Shocked, I replied, "No one said anything on the phone about dropping off to pick up later or needing a kennel, and no where at your counter does it say either...."(At this point I was interrupted by the large woman coming out with a small dog walking with a yellow leash. The dog was as big as my cat! She gave it to her owner, removed the leash and the owner CARRIED THE DOG OUT).The Nurse then said, "The kennels aren't that expensive. You can buy one here just on the back wall over there (she points toward the kennels) or if you feel Walmart is cheaper they are right by the store. We won't let you pick him up without one."So, I bought a kennel, because I assumed this Vet was the cheapest place around Peoria. I called their corporate office and spoke with who I'll call "S".I asked, "Where in any of your documents does it say I have to bring a kennel to receive my cat back from your East Peoria, IL office?"S placed me on hold, confirmed there is nothing that says that. S gave me the number and email to customer relations, but they were at lunch and I needed to call in about an hour. S also called the store herself to see about what happened.After a few moments, S called me back to explain, "the manager I wanted to speak with wasn't available, the next available person was whom you dealt with today. She said she recommended having a kennel, not that it was required. You can return the kennel and they will let you use one of theirs for your cat."At this moment, I felt like something was done.... But then it got worse.I received a voicemail during my late lunch/early dinner with my wife saying to call back to explain what needs to be done with my cat. I called back and the nurse whom I dealt with earlier, gets on the phone and explains what needs to be done and the out of pocket pricing. She then went in great detail about the Wellness Plan, which in all honesty had me thinking that it may be a great deal.I tell the nurse, "let me call you right back after I talk with my wife about this."The Nurse replied with, "Oh sure no problem! But also about earlier with the kennel, I said how it was recommended that you bring a kennel, and we can let you use one of ours to bring the cat to your car...."(At this point I'm fuming, because she lied to me in the store and I'm thinking PetSmart records their calls and she's covering her tracks)I cut her off, "I SAID let me talk with my wife about this and I'll call you back! Good Bye!"...but sir!...""I Said Good Bye!"(I hung up)2 minutes have gone by, I got a couple bites into my dinner, and Banfield is calling me...It's the nurse, again..."Sir, I don't know if we got disconnected or not."I replied, "I said goodbye... I haven't talked to my wife about this yet....The nurse cut me off, "Sir I was only trying to tell you that you can talk to your wife as well about returning the kennel you bought and could use ours...."I cut her back off, "YOU CALLED ME BACK TO TALK MORE ABOUT THE ISSUE YOU STARTED!!! I'VE ALREADY CONTACTED CORPORATE, THEY CALLED YOU ALREADY, YOU TOLD THEM A LIE, AND I HAVE TO CALL CUSTOMER RELATIONS NEXT!"
