Love this place prices are fair and the sales are always good. If you buy what's on sale and buy Schnucks brand on other things you could hands down walk out of there with more stuff and a cheaper price than any other grocery chain. The ones that claim they have cheap prices might be on and item but when you shop as a whole they're not cheaper. I like the points rewards they have, definately my go to store

Employees were VERY helpful and knowledgeable. Store was exceptionally clean and they had a wide variety of brands and products. I checked online 1st to make what I wanted was in stock and that made my shopping so much easier (and EVERYTHING I wanted was in stock 🙂).My 1st time there but it won't be my last!

My husband ran here after work before i got home from work to grab some groceries including some lunch meat. The deli guy was pretty pissed my huband walked up i guess 20 min before they closed that station because he told my husband for future reference what time they close (7pm). My husband checks his phone to see they still have 20 minutes. He was pissy to do his job and you should never tell a customer what time you close, that's just rude😂 also it's still a decent amount of time to clean up. Can't help what time we get off work to come mini shopping. Guess we'll just go to Kroger instead.

Very clean. Seemed to be well stocked. Wide variety of items to choose from. The one item I couldn’t find the employee went back to see if he could find it. Very courteous and unbothered by the request. The checkout lanes started to get bogged down so they called for backup and they cleared the lanes quickly. Overall a good shopping experience.

Always good service usually but as I walked up to the register I informed the girl I had alcohol and that she would need to get some other person she ignored me and then had an attitude with me as I put my order on the belt she then said she couldn't do the alcohol

I come to your store to buy meat bundles I usually get three or four of the $20 bundles mix and match and I got there today and almost all of your guys's beef was gone it had about four flats of hamburger the burger patties and some of the round steak but that was

Did not ask me if I would like to use my points I knew I had and ended up paying $11 for something I could have gotten for $7. If you're gonna have a points/member system promote and encourage it at every turn.

Have good sails but checkout lanes are not handicap friendly for those of us who have to use a motorized cart. Not enough space to turn into register lanes without taking out candy and magazine displays.

Obviously more expensive than Walmart but if you shop the sales and make use of their Rewards program it's doable. Their produce always looks great. More than anything I enjoy the convenience of getting in and out with little to no wait.

My wife and I moved from Peoria to Pekin, and while this store isn't as big as the one we were used to going to it still does a good job. We can get most of the items we like that the bigger stores have and the employees are wonderful.

Loved this store, until Jason took over management. Actually heard him call an employee "worthless". Have seen him interact with other employees on a similar level. Overheard one girl by deli, crying miserable because she had COVID and the store manager demanded she come to work anyways. COVID spreading by demand, terrible. I won't support a store that allows for its people to be treated poorly, or the customers especially elderly to be intentionally exposed to COVID. I don't support bullies, and a lack of regard for health code violations. It's a shame the union or corporate doesn't step in and take action against this terrible management of Pekin Schnucks.

Please train your cashiers better. I didn't want to use the rewards I had been saving up at all, she put them through as payment even though I said not to and she couldn't go back and fix it. I'd been saving up for awhile. I was going to use it when I most needed it. Part of my emergency grocery fund. I am less than impressed. What am I supposed to do now? She should have to pay it back. I'm not rich. She had set her register to automatically use the rewards money. She shouldn't make that choice for anyone. They should have refunded my rewards back to the card and let me pay w my card.

This store always has the best meats and produce. They always have a great selection, too. My biggest complaint is that everything is priced so much higher here than anywhere else. The exact same products at other stores are a fraction of the cost here. Which is why I typically don't do my major shopping here, only meats and produce.

Not much for staff there , people need to get out start filling out applications there's jobs available to make everybody else's job a lot easier so I get that. Both have great quality meats and produce and I always find what I'm looking for.

I don't live in the area so I rarely get to Schnuck's in Pekin. That said, it was an enjoyable experience. The staff was friendly and courteous. I went to the store in the hope of finding ghost peppers. Those are not all that popular so I wasn't surprised not to find them. On the other hand I did get some habaneros and they tend to be hard to find too. The store was neat and clean and well stocked. I won't hesitate to go back if the occasion presents itself.

I placed an online order on 11/6 and was over charged $97.02. I called customer service and was assured it had been credited back to my account; however, that was not the case. The $97.02 was credited to my schnucks rewards which was not acceptable. Customer service stated that I could use the money on my next purchase but considering that I never authorized the additional $97.02 to be taken from my account I didn't feel this was even remotely acceptable. Eventually, after many phone calls and emails they issued it back to my debit card. After having over charged me and held my money for 12 days it has finally been returned to my account. The compensation for my time, inconvenience, and taking money from my account that wasn't authorized was $10 in schnucks rewards. This is truly poor customer service and customer care.
