The chicken 🐔🍗 is delicious 😋🤤 and I was able to purchase precooked fresh chicken on my Snap Benefit Link Card starting @ $7 - $9 #family packages or outing, single meal, family gathering its convenient and cooked to perfection Hot or Cold add some homemade Kroger bake beans, Cole slaw, mustard potatoes salad and Hawaiian rolls ( no offense/old heritage saying) I can slap my own (self/sibling/cook) perfecto 💋❣️😎

I haven't been to this Kroger's in quite a while so I was surprised when I noticed all of the kitchen where stuff and the back left corner of the store. They had some really cute items on sale on the end cap. Some of the stuff was a little bit overpriced but the stuff that was on sale were good prices. I actually don't remember the last time I was here but it feels like it's been remodeled since then. The store was very clean and very nicely organized and I really enjoyed shopping there. I had to take a picture of the eggs because of how much eggs cost nowadays, it's a good thing to have documented. Before leaving the store I noticed that there was some dog beds in the front for $6 it was really good deal and perfect for the new puppy I just brought home, there were also some bigger dog beds for $12.99 which was still a great deal! Always love shopping at Krogers when they have such great deals and I will definitely be returning to this one specifically!

Want to the bakery as a last minute thing. Just told the worker 24 cupcakes and it's a forest themed event. Was shocked and amazed at how they turned out!! Will definitely be going to krogers bakery again!

Kroger is a lousy place to shop. Their equipment is broken down. Every time I try to use digital coupons there is an issue. My app is fine, all my info is correct. Kroger needs to get their act together. I am fed up with this. The workers are of no help.

Manager was very difficult,she said she can do anything she wants at her store! I thought krogers owned it? employee Debbie A. Does what she wants! She isn't customer friendly, and she likes to complain around customer presence! I had to go back to E.P. Kroger to shop peacefully and not worry about my Trek bike getting vandalized by jealous employees!

Not bad for Pekin. Parking sucks, staff is on par with post covid expectations. National brands and non food items are cheaper elsewhere unless there is a special so I can only get half my groceries there.

Close at 6pm. Being very rude about letting people in with 15 minutes till. I know its Christmas Eve but we only needed one thing for a recipe. Classless.

Highest prices in town while their generic brands are always out of stock. I recommend shopping literally anywhere else, except for maybe Walmart. Only reason it's earning two stars is because they have many good employees that don't get paid nearly enough.

I haven't liked this store every since they remodeled it. They used scab workers instead of the usual union workers but that isn't why I haven't liked it. You can just barely squeeze 2 carts through the lane and most of the time you cant at all because of a pole being in the way or there are 2 people standing there talking which wont move out of your way even when you say excuse me I'm trying to get through. The last reason why I'm writing this is that there was exactly 666 reviews and I do not like that number!

Female employee closed store before closing time and became aggressive when people tried to enter. Staff needs to have training on how to handle situations because closing early with aggressive employees is not a family friendly setting. Child started crying in the car because of how employee came off.

Huge thank you to Jerry Harrison who collected shopping carts on February 24, 2023 for finding my phone! I had left it on a shopping cart and was frantic when I couldn’t find it but he luckily had collected it and had it in safe keeping at the front desk. Be sure to check your expiration dates. I have encountered on many occasions the food was expired ranging from just a few days to a whole year (chips). I have had mix ups at the pharmacy packaging someone else's meds under my name. Staff are rude, acting as tho you're bothering them with your questions. And yes, the bathrooms are disgusting.

We shopped Sunday morning and were blessed by many kind employees throughout the store. Overall there was lots of food available, if you purchased wisely. We want to thank especially Jerry & Diane who helped unload our cart and the wonderful young lady that offered to load our car. We've shopped Kroger for over 50 years and look forward to continuing. Thanks for hiring the best people.

Found a great parking spot near the cart bay for starters. Employee waking out as I was walking in greeted me.I found everything I needed and was in line in less than 10 minutes. Only waited for one person ahead of me in line to check out. I could have gone through self check but I'm much slower than the cashier's. In and driving out in less than 20 minutes. Great experience. Friendly staff. Organized and clean store. Saved $ with my Kroger card. Thanks for such a quick rewarding grocery shopping experience.

Prices are higher than other places. The guys cooking the chicken were very rude and wouldn't serve anything. They told me I could have a cold 8 pcs and that was all I was going to get. If you are not going to serve meals than at least take down the sign. I don't think I will be shopping there for a long time.

We used to shop at Krogers, although I just learned that Krogers jumped on the Nike, Petsmart, Target and Bud light ship, which Is sinking very fast. Kroger are helping fund a trans parade in Cincinatti , Goodbye Krogers! Shop at Hyvee!

I worked at Pekin Kroger from almost a month before I was fired. But let's circle back. I was hired in the floral department. I was not trained and thrown to the wolves. The lady I worked with complained 24/7 about the job. I did not meet one person who enjoyed their job. They told me kroger doesn't care about their employees and it couldn't be more true. After missing a few days of being extremely sick i askedKassi the store manager if I could come back in a few days. She smiled and said yes I'll see you Sunday so now it's Saturday night and I received a phone call at 7:30 from a training managered named Z that I no longer had a job. How professional to have someone else do it who isn't even a manager. I have Dr notes they never asked to see one. Literally the worst place to work ever under staffed and I understand why so many people come and go!

It's cleaner than most Krogers I've been to. The biggest grips I have are 1) I buy fresh cut fruit for an elderly person who doesn't have teeth. They put fruit that is NOT ripe and is hard for that person to eat because the fruit is hard. And 2) I work 2nd shift and go in there everyday to get my snacks and lunch. Their plastic ware (knife, fork, and spoons) are rarely restocked the only deli made sandwiches left are Italian and garlic. They don't restock any of the sandwiches

The older workers are typically unfriendly and rude while the younger ones know where things are and are more friendly. The store is really poorly stocked with a lot of items not refilled for weeks on end. The store itself is usually not the cleanest either and sometimes has a strange smell.

I have been coming to this store for a long time. I have really noticed how much they have improved in so many areas. The staff is always friendly and ready to help. Not just when I ask but just when I walk by. I really enjoy shopping here. Thank you Kroger staff for making me you're Number one priority.👍

There are a few good people here and I feel badly for them. The rest are disinterested, rude, and have no customer service skills. Make sure you check your dates. I tried click List and THEY pulled me pudding that had expired 1 month prior. When I called, I got a lot of excuses and the store manager told me that they have a high quota per hour and don't have time to check expiration dates. What?!? I pay you for a service and you don't have time to make sure the product is not expired? We decided to give them another chance and watched dates closely. We were good for a few months. Until this week. My husband bought me organic frozen breakfast sandwiches. I wrongly thought he checked the date. I ate them and didn't feel right so I was going to call the company to see if they changed something. I flipped the box to find the number and saw the expiration date. 2/20/2017. A FULL TWO YEARS before we bought them. I called and again got no apology. I called corporate and they couldn't tell me next steps, so I called to get the district manager's number or name from the store. I talked to the store manager again, and again no apology. I was asked what I wanted. I was told that apparently there was "no satisfying me," that she checks dates when shopping and so should I. And finally, that I should probably find another store. Done, lady. Now it is up to corporate and the district manager to determine if I find a completely new chain or just a new store.

Always have items that I need in stock. Friendly cashiers and someone always ready to help. Friendly grocery packers and ready to help you out if needed. Love the fuel points for gas and good prices and coupons to help on bill.

Great experience, but it's getting harder to find customer service in the aisles! Deli and bakery usually have great service though! Karla, Tanishia, Latasha, Lynn and Aleshia do a great job of helping me every time. If I don't see them, sometimes I don't even stop by the counter, the others don't always have great service...
