I was just in the Family Dollar on Derby St. PEKIN, ILLINOIS. All i can say is WOW what a difference..I cannot believe how different the store looks! I got Valentine's Day cards when I was in there, got home and there was a shortage of the cards. I called the manager there Keisha Welker and she said she would call me back. Within 15 minutes Keyshia called me back, and shortly after that she showed up at my place of employment with the suckers and the cards. Talk about outstanding customer service!

I just recently went into the store. I have shopped here in the past. But isles were very crowded. Not any more. Store was well organized, clean and very friendly ( Keisha) staff.

My wife went and bought stuff and gave the cashier names Abigal 10 dollars too much and the lady put it under the register and was gonna take it! My wife said that that was her 10 and thought she stated a higher amount then she did that’s why she gave her 30 something instead of 20 somethinfThe lady said well u shouldn’t have done that and gave it back to her reluctantly. When I called to talk to a manger she stated she was a manager and wouldn’t give me another number to call when I asked for corporate she said to look it up myself and hung up. I called back and she said her manager won’t do anything go ahead and try. I again asked for the number to contact them or be directed to them and she hung up on me again! Terrible service! Happened 1/16/23

TJ Kelly is by far the best thing that has happened to the that store and Elaina has some of the best customer service (patience) I've ever seen!

(STORE#:58046)Went in to return a bra set that had defects after waiting in line for a long time because they only have one cashier TJ and a "manager" and the cashier (who wasn't wearing a mask) didn't know how to add $ to a pre paid cc and called the "manager" over who was dressed in street clothes with no name tag, and also no mask in which the manager replied "you know how do this and you don't need a manager and to not do that in front of a district manager" as well as telling everyone in line not to say anything. I finally get up there and she has to once again call the manager which was fine until they couldn't properly process a return to a credit card and gave me cash back instead which was not what I wanted and even asked for it to be refunded to my cc in which the "manager" said she just didn't know why it was coming up a different price and didn't even try to fix it to refund me properly!!! Seemed more like a hangout than a work place and it's disheveled looking along with not taking proper COVID precautions!! This place really went down hill and I won't be back if I could give it zero stars I would.

Tried going to Family Dollar with only 5 mins before closing to shop for one thing and the lady was rude saying we are closed locked the door right away as soon as we went to the door, worst customer service ever! 🤬

Tried accusing me of stealing a cat collar that was 1.75 AFTER I paid for it and AFTER she looked at the receipt that it was on it also made me empty out my pockets and got mad when I refused to take my med out of my pocket I told her to go ahead and call the cops and it be proven I didn't do s... And you'll lose your job, yes I'm making a complaint

False advertising. Went to go purchase something and the total came out to be more than what was advertised on the shelving. Employee tells me I am wrong while standing their scratching his head. least that could have been done was to go double check the price.

I love the new Family Dollar app. I use it every week. I shop at ONLY one store the Derby Street store in Pekin, Illinois! I've shopped there for years!

Tight space. Face coverings not required for employees or customers. No social distancing . good place to get covid19 for a dollar

Worst thing they did in Bartonville was change Family Dollar to Dollar Tree!! Went through every isle! I'll shop at Dollar General from now on! Not a fan of Dollar Tree! I miss Family Dollar!!!!!
