I’ve been taking my dog and cat to Dr Hansel here for the past year and half, I called this morning to make an appointment for my cat and low and behold I was told Dr Hansel was unavailable and that Dr Clyde was the only Vet available, I asked what happened to Dr Hansel and was told she left to open her own practice, I asked for her contact information and was told they were unaware of her contact information to search online for her. I found Dr. Hansel and made an appointment, Ann asked me to reach back out to Family Vet Care which I did and spoke with May and asked the office to forward on my pets records to Dr. Hansel and May recited Dr. Hansel’s email, much to my amazement as May just told me 15 minutes before that they didn’t have her contact information. Extremely unprofessional and extremely shady to withhold that information, needless to say I will continue to take my pets to Dr. Hansel at Wags and Whiskers.

They are the best! Our dog was attacked and we finally found her at 6am. They let me bring her in first thing in the morning and have taken such good care of her. They have treated and cared for her, like she was their own. Our town is lucky to have them treating our animals!

I have gone to this location for years. The staff always come out to love my three yorkies. They always get my dog or dogs in for a office appointments when needed. Dr. Hansel comes out to say hello when she is with other dogs. She is so special! My husband has one leg and the staff comes to the truck and gets the dogs that need attention. You will not get this attention any where else.

The Animal Vet Care Center under the direction of Dr.Hansel, along with her staff, have provided superior service for our array of animals over the years. The center's staff is very professional and provide excellent care for the animals they treat. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who loves they pets.

The Doctor and aids were very polite and treated my dog as if she were theirs. I got my dog into see them the same day I called their office. They took care of all my dog's needed and then some. Very pleased with the service. Thank you.

I have never once felt like my pets have received care that was anything less than extensive, thorough, and considerate at this clinic. They are truly wonderful here. The techs are always so excited to see my dog Charlie, and their enthusiasm only serves to make my dog excited to go to the vet. They know him by name, and that really sets them apart in my mind. I am thankful to have such an amazing place to take my pets!

We had an emergency with one of our dogs recently and they were able to get us in within 24 hours and were very attentive to his injuries and needs to make him comfortable. He was cleaned up and medicated to fight infection and his pain. The morning following our appointment you could tell he was already feeling much better. Thank you ladies for taking such good care of our fur babies!

We recently moved to this area, and had to find a clinic for our fur babies. After searchingaround, we decided to go with Animal Family Vet Care. I'm so glad we did! The staff are so welcoming, and friendly, and they were so great with our scared little dog! They were patient and gentle, and treated her as a part of our family! My husband and I will definitely be going back, and bringing all of our other animals as well. I would recommend them to anyone in the area looking for vet care, or even anything simple like a nail trim.

We have 2 female German Shepherds, one of which has always had constant health issues, Savy ! I noticed @ 3 weeks ago she wasn’t feeling herself , I called, they seen her that day ! We left with meds, I called 2 days later , feeling like she was worse. We were seen again, she had pneumonia. She’s very anxious when we are there, barking and lunging- these girls and the Dr , have the most patience with her , letting me muzzle her, and blockkng a room off just for her! We returned today for repeat xrays, and more labs. Sav needs different meds, and they made sure we weren’t not treated as “crazy dog parents” - I CAN NOT PRAISE THEM ENOUGH!!!! 🐾🐾

Animal Family truly treats your four-legged family member like a member of their own family. Dr. Hansel and staff are the best around. When seeing another doctor is needed for scheduling reasons, the staff is exceptional and just as knowledgeable and caring. Hands down the best around!

Twice they have given my dogs the wrong diagnosis. First they suggested putting my dog to sleep when they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her when we took her somewhere else they said just needed sugar water. The second time they said my other dog had a kidney stone and gave him shots. We took him to Lakeside Vet 3 days later when he wasn’t getting any better and they told us he had the flu. We hadn’t had this dog very long when he got sick so when we took him here we weren’t allowed to go back into the room where they give the shots and they didn’t even bother to tell me he bites when getting shots. We had no way of knowing so we could warn the other vet to muzzle him. I will not take any more of my animals to this place!
