Dr. Carlson is a vet who truly loves animals and has a passion for taking care of our fur babies. She and her assistant were so friendly and excited to take care of my dog for his ear infection. They made sure to make my dog comfortable by giving him treats and made me comfortable with explanations of what was happening. It was my first time here, and I would definitely come back. My original vet from another clinic said she can take my dog in a WEEK. That's too long a wait. I'm glad this clinic cared for my dog

I literally can not say enough good things about this office. They have several different vets, and all of them are AMAZING. I did a review on the old vet's office that got a 1 star (we need a zero option Google). It's a little bit of a ride from my house but worth it 100%. We had to put my daushund down a year ago, and their staff was absolutely awesome. They were compassionate and truly cared as my daughters and I were a MESS. They could not have been more sympathetic. When it was time for our new family member, I called to schedule an appointment before i even told my parents. If you own a pet, this should be your vet's office, period.

I have been with a Mill Creek animal hospital and Dr. Whittle for over 30 years. The facility is updated and very cleanly with numerous healthy food purchase items for most pets. The staff from top to bottom is amazing and always services our our beloved pets needs regardless if we are in office, at home, or on the road. It Gives us great confidence to know our issues can be handled with one phone call, going on their website, or simply making an appointment. Our pets records for everything are always available at your fingertips. The website itself is very user friendly, and useful. Besides all the great attributes of Mill Creek animal Hospital. The best one is Dr. Whittle himself. Dr. Whittle as always been able to diagnose anything that had ever been wrong with our pets. He also has a wealth of knowledge & referrals if your pet needs to see a specialist. The doctor himself as a veterinarian is very personable. He has great “ bedside “ manor. He has always remembered or learned our pets names. He always tries to make our pets as comfortable as possible because he understands they can have anxiety in an environment that they don’t have to often visit other than normal check ups. That is because he has helped us keep them in. Great health. It is important that Our pets are comfortable with Dr. Whittle. All of our pets like him even the one puppy that would not go by anyone they don’t know. In the ultimate situation when our pets have lived a wonderful life, he has helped us and our pets move on from this horribly stressful type of situation. Ultimately, HE IS THE BEST.

My dog hates to go to the vet. my dog was freaking out after the staff told me to give him Trazodone. Then all 4 techs. Stood there with their thumbs up their but. I had to ask them what to do and they didn’t know. 3 of the techs looked 18 yrs old with no experience. Never go there again. They don’t know how to deal with dogs that are scared. I could go on but you get my point. Let’s hear from the people whose dog doesn’t like going to the vet. lol. Also, the person replying to these reviews, please leave your name, not just Mills creek animal’s clinic.

We moved are vet care to millcreek this year , the service there is as good as I’ve encountered from the staff at the front desk to the assistants, and especially dr’s Francis, Conrad, and dr Carlson. We’ve brought our 4 dogs there and the care they received has been exceptional, one of our dogs has bad allergy’s and has been to numerous places and nothing ever helped , until we brought her here , she’s had the best 6 weeks since I can remember. Unfortunately two of our dogs were brought in with major medical problems, and there comfort and compassion in there final days is greatly appreciated.

I really love this place . They are well staffed . Always open in schedule. No line no wait. Fast , easy. Attentive . The front desk girls are so nice. Very easy day at this place . The vets are good but always ask for someone older and more experienced. They seem to know a lot more and very informative. The pricing is average to above average. But the customer service , convenience and knowledge really gives the. A 5/5 stars . Thank you .

Having adopted my kitties from a shelter there were some health concerns that were evident right off the bat. I am a relatively new pet owner and getting my girls to their healthiest was my main priority. I tried another vet initially and although the experience was not terrible; the service, level of care, and communication is unmatched at Mill Creek.I have the peace of mind knowing my kitties are being treated well and although I know they don't enjoy it much, I am happy knowing that they are in good health and the doctors and staff treating them share the same sentiment. I would definitely recommend Mill Creek!

Mill Creek is the vet clinic we selected to try out after moving to Palos Park. Our experiences with our dogs have been nothing but wonderful. The staff has always been lovely, kind, and definitely show they care about your fur babies. Since establishing care with them, we’ve had to visit more often than other pet owners due to ongoing allergies, etc. Unfortunately, February through beginning of April has been a horrible couple months for us as we lost both our hounds within a short period of time. From the urgent vet trips, to the final vet trips where we had to say goodbye , we were given so much support and love by the staff from phone calls during after hours by the vets, to fitting us in at random and inconvenient times, to condolence cards and words of comfort when we had to say our goodbyes for each dog. I cannot thank Dr. Carlson enough for her big heart through the hardest times of my life. She showed my babies compassion and gave her entire expertise to care for them until there was nothing left. I would trust her with any of my fur babies over again. She went through it all with us and provided a shoulder to cry on when I couldn’t take the pressure myself. Thank you Mill Creek for your love and support, and thank you Dr Carlson for everything.

I've been taking my dog to Mill Creek Animal Clinic for a few years now and everyone there is very pleasant and professional. My dog loves everyone there from the front desk all the way through to the Vets. They give her lots of attention which she's loves along with the treats they give her. The Doctors take their time to explain things and to listen to your concerns. Great place to take your pets! I highly recommend them!

I wish I had the words to express my gratitude to Dr. Francis and ALL of the staff at Mill Creek for their compassion and understanding at a time when I needed it most. My faithful little friend Bella passed on September 29, 2023 and I am devastated, but the staff was so wonderful to such a fearful little cat AND to me, since I was a mess. Dr. Francis explained everything and took such care with Bella, and although I am lost without the companion I’d had for 16 years, the doctors and staff were the only ones who not only cared about my kitty, but understood what it is like to lose them. Thank you all for the wonderful, healthy years that you helped to give Bella, and the compassionate care you gave her at the end of her life.

Dr. Whittle was very empathetic and reassuring when I called to discuss a spay and gastropexy for my reactive German Shepherd. She does not do well at the vet, and even more, this would have been a new vet for us, as our current vet referred us elsewhere to have the gastropexy done. The prices for surgery were reasonable. Dr. Whittle eased our minds by putting our pup on meds to keep her calm and allowing us to stay with her until she was sedated. He kept us updated throughout the process and answered all of our questions thoroughly. He was caring, kind, and sympathetic. It's so hard to find good medical providers these days, but I am so happy to have found Mill Creek. The staff was wonderful and friendly too. We couldn't be happier with how our fur baby was treated. Don't hesitate to see them for your pets.

Well, here I am again, this time regarding Bear's sister Bella. Yet AGAIN the wonderful physicians and staff took the utmost care of her. Surgery this time needed for Bella. Dr. Carlson performed the surgery and stayed after hours to supervise her post-surgical until she was ready to come home that night. Dr. Conrad handled her post-surgical observation the next day. Both kept me apprised every step of the way. I also heard through the grapevine that Dr. Carlson called on her day off to check on Bella. There is nothing more you can ask of this group. You are all the best and know how much I trust and love you ALL!!!I cannot thank you enough for your excellent veterinary skills and TLC you have shown our cats for the past 20 years! What you did for Bear, AGAIN was over and above what anyone could ask for. This is the SECOND time he needed emergency surgery and Dr. Whittle came in on his day off. Again, Dr. Whittle and this time, Dr. Conrad were just so amazing I cannot say enough about them! Thank you for caring so much & for taking the utmost care of my fur baby.

I love this clinic! They are wonderful with my cat who is nearly 16 years old and has been a very frightened and stressed kitty for several years. The staff is always accommodating and thoughtful, especially when I need to schedule appointments. Since my kitty is especially fearful of dogs in general, I am usually able to schedule checkups when there are no or very few other dogs nearby. AMAZING! Wonderful front desk and doctor. I had a non-emergency and they squeezed me in. I ran in like a hot mess. The ladies at the desk didn’t judge. They organized and scanned all of my dogs info. Even my second dog who wasn’t there! Ugh I loved that because I am OCD. Extremely pleasant visit. I will be leaving my previous veterinarian for Mill Creek. They were reasonable too. I know I could have easily paid an additional $50-90. Thank you Mill Creek.

Shout out to Dr Carlson & staff at Mill Creek Animal Clinic for going above & beyond to make sure that Bear had a stress-free annual exam. Bear is pretty big, & these two ladies fed him treats & conducted the entire exam, blood draw, inoculation administration & nail trim, while talking gently with him and sitting on the floor with him to keep him calm. Needless to say, they must have been exhausted afterwards. We cannot thank them enough for spending so much time with him, just so he did not get too stressed out. Mill Creek Animal Clinic in Palos Park, IL is the BEST!

So happy to have found this place. Everyone is so nice and patient. My boy has fear aggression and doesn’t do well with strangers and dogs. The doctor took her time to walk me through everything I had to do. She Made me feel confident and comfortable. She was very gentle with my boy despite him growling at her. Their emails and notes are also very helpful and appreciated. Highly recommend!

Extremely pleased with this veterinarian clinic! Making an appointment was easy, the doctors are super friendly toward me and also my dog. I was very impressed how the nurses immediately welcomed Rosie and were petting and hugging her, keeping her very calm and happy. I had a lot of questions and they were very patient explaining all of the shots and preventative medications for my pup. Superb atmosphere with a nice big waiting room and a very clean and spacious clinic room.

Definitely don't care about our animals only money! They scheduled app for vaccine and while we are there waiting, we found out they have to reschedule because they don't have vaccine on stock. Another time Cat was sick and they only offered to run some tests just to charge more, no advise at all. Front desk without manners, after saying thank you and have a nice day , her response was "aha". Don't like this place at all.

Everything about Mill Creek feels right. The staff, the doctors, the environment. It’s the professionalism and the care and friendliness/helpfulness here that you just don’t get anywhere else.Love this place. They take amazing care of my dogs, and are incredibly patient, competent, and understanding with my older Heeler who is never happy about going for the vet.
