I demand immediate action regarding the abysmal customer service my client received from Tracy. Her behavior was completely unacceptable and outrageously rude. It is imperative that you take swift and appropriate measures to train your employees and ensure that this never happens again. If Tracy is unable to provide a professional service, then I suggest that she be replaced with someone who is capable of doing so. It is not acceptable for someone with such poor customer service skills to be placed at the customer Service desk .

By far the worst run Jewel-Osco ive ever been too and ive live in Chicago all my life. I went to self checkout out and waited there for no exaggerating 10mins to get an ID check for beer. The main person was doing good knows what with some other lady. So i asked someone else and they said it wasnt there job. Ill show you nfers its not your job.

Do not special order a cake here. I came in with a photo for my daughter's graduation cake. The woman who took my order was absolutely the nicest and we looked at cakes in the freezer and picked what we wanted for our cake. $48. My husband picked it up an hour before the party. My daughter was so disappointed with how awful it looked. It was like a little kid did the work. The photo decal had big air bubbles under it, colors were way off and bled through, it was crooked and not centered and there were colored lines on the jagged right side. The 2022 decal was missing a part and filled in with cake writing. You could see the cake through the frosting on the sides. The edging was thin and hard to see and the writing was supposed to be a blended 2-tone like the one in the freezer. They just wrote one color over the other. The roses were just blobs. The whole thing was ugly. Nothing even close to what we talked about. Never again. Get a great cake at Costco and write on it yourself. Can't look worse!I also want to add that the checkout conveyor belt is disgustingly dirty and when I complained that I didn't want to put my food down on it, the lady at the checkout got mad.Again, months later, the conveyor belts are still disgusting. Jewel! Please clean themI can't tell you how clean they are at other Jewel stores! What's wrong with this location?

Cheap chicken Monday here is a joke! I requested my chicken to be all dark meat and they said nope you have to buy all of the pieces of chicken to get it and I left so I do not like the new policy that they created for this location and the other locations as well. this place does not deserve a dime out of my pocket. I will not be returning to Support Jewel anytime soon..

This Jewel blows. Some of the rudest employee's and can never find what I need. The customer service sucks. Honestly just plain rude, multiple issues coming here. Also, treat your employees with better respect, the management treats staff like animals. I have witnessed first hand.

This was the worst bakery experience ever. The result was embarrassing and less than amateur quality. Do not ask for photos on a cake. Colors bled. Photo was not stretched across the cake. Photo was actually bubbling up and wrinkled on the top of cake. This was for a small rehearsal dinner and this was so terrible. Never again.

Razan from the Floral Department was such a great help this evening. My family was in a bit of a rush to get a nice floral arrangement, but the few Jewel locations we initially went to did not have any Floral staff in the stores. So we tried our luck at this Palos Park location and Razan was there to save the day! :) She kindly helped us with our selection, and carefully packaged everything for easy transportation. We really appreciated her friendly help. Thank you so much!

I was extremely thirsty, and a manager swiftly directed me to the sport drinks aisle. Then that same manager verified my I.D. for an alcoholic purchase with expert precision. She provided excellent customer service. I will be returning with my business with these kind of deals and service!

Best Jewel-Osco that I have been to. The deli workers are great. Good selection of bakery, fresh and bread. Everything is better than what I'm used to shopping at a Jewel. The checkout lines are quick, compared to the Chicago stores. Slow downs are expected, from time to time. I was shopping one busy afternoon, and a Manager opened a register. I didn't catch her name, but did ask her the store number. This will be my go to Jewel from now on.

I was there today, in customer service correcting a price. Girl in customer service, Victoria, was so nice, so helpful, so polite that I told her shopping In this jewel. for 25 years, I didn't experience that. She really needs to be recognized for this.Thank you, Victoria. You make my day.

I placed an order at the bakery for a cake for my teen daughter. The image my daughter wanted on her cake was not easy and honestly I didn’t think it could be done. I shared a picture of the image with the ladies in the bakery and they said no problem. When I picked up the cake I couldn’t believe how great it looked. It was a mirror image of the cake we wanted. Peggy drew the image freehand and did an amazing job!! Peggy, thank you for your attention to detail, we had one happy teen sharing pics of this cake with all of her friends. Thank you for your amazing customer service, positive attitude, and decorating skills! We’ll definitely be back!

Was at the deli department this evening (6:10pm) the man behind the counter rolled his eyes before helping us, and the younger man was cleaning up a mess. The older mad who was bigger in stature whom rolled his eyes because we were waiting for help (he had made a comment to the younger man to help us, even though the older man truly wasn’t doing anything but standing there) was very rude and told us “I hope this is all you’re getting because we’re not doing the deli meat anymore tonight.” That was I guess ,tolerable but what WASNT - was eating food in front of customers behind the deli counter, talking down to his co-worker (probably because his coworker was younger) and working without gloves on his hands… SO UNSANITARY and SO unprofessional.

I have been shopping at this Jewel since moving here almost 30 years ago. While checking out today, I was very surprised to find that my total bill was over $100. After checking out, I went straight to the service counter and told the woman working there that I had a coupon for $10 off of $100 or more that I hadn’t used at checkout. She took my receipt and said, no you can’t use it, it has to be over $100 before tax. My total receipt was $100.60 including tax. Tax was $1.24, so I had spent 64 cents too little. I said I would gladly buy another item to make it $100. She rudely said, “no, it has to be on one transaction.” I left the store and put my groceries in my car, really surprised and disappointed in the rude service I had received. I went back in and asked the same woman, Tracie, if I could speak with a manager. She said she was the manager. I again said that I was very surprised that she wouldn’t allow me to purchase another item and use the coupon, that I was used to better customer service at this store. She again very rudely told me “no”, turned and left. There was never any friendliness in her demeanor, she was only rude and dismissive. There are plenty of places to shop for groceries in the area, and though I have always stayed loyal to this Jewel, I will now go elsewhere.

This is my neighborhood grocery store. It is very organized and well stocked. Loads of sale prices which makes this store very competitive. Just the right size store. I use Osco for my prescriptions which is so convenient. Worthy of a 5 star rating.Update 11/11/22Still many item sales. Fresh produce. Some items are too expensive due to inflation. I bought my Thanksgiving turkey today for .59 cents a pound. Can't beat that! Friendly staff and cashiers.Update 09/14/23Still my favorite store. Inflation is still high. Some good sale items. Still friendly staff.

Great traditional style grocery store this is the right size store not to big not to small I can get just about everything I need here. The people are friendly. And the prices are good also. Parking is never a problem and in bad weather the parking lot is always clean. I get my prescription and groceries in one stop makes it easy on me. They do a Nice job I've been shopping at Jewel for 55 years 🙂

A very nice and clean Jewel with a good variety of special foods! Customer service is good too. The store is very well stocked with any food or products you may want to buy. They also have some prime steaks at the meat counter.

this store is awful they are unprofessional and the managers are terrible. They treat their workers awful and they scream at their workers. This store is awful and I personally would never recommend to go to this Jewel Osco. I really recommend to go to the Jewel Osco in hickory hills Illinois if you really have to go to Jewel Osco because their service is great and their managers are actually nice and Don't scream at you. thank you for listening to my review about this store.

Today 10/11|2020. I was disappointed from my visit. There was no disinfecting wipes in the front , so I went to let customer service disk to let them know. I waited more than ten minutes until the guy showed up. From the look on his face he wasn't happy. The lady in meat department was very rude. At least the manger helping the cashier was helpful and cheerful.

Great regional chain, but has started to decline. Could be pandemic related, but service and quality has gradually deteriorated over the past year. Prices are rising everywhere, but I am seeing increases of 35% or more over the past few months.... Well above the rate of inflation. Meat department has a much more limited selection these days, and prices have more than doubled in some cases. It's a good thing I have alternatives. I will still buy from Jewel, they are unfortunately not my main "go to" anymore.

Very nice store has " fresh " bakery like doughnuts, muffins, and more. They also have a very nice produce section. The people who work here are also very pleasant ☺️

Okay, it's Jewel-Osco. What can be said that everybody doesn't already know? Jewel is a big freaking grocery store that has everything a person needs. In fact, they have a lot of stuff you don't need. But if you ever change your mind and decide that you do need it, you know where to go. My only complaint is that the bread aisle was hard to find, and that's something that should be easy to find. It's bread. Everyone eats it. Come on, Jewel, fix the bread aisle issue and I'll give you that elusive five-star review. But still, good work Jewel.

Been shopping here every week for 20 years. This past year, I made written request to manager for a food item, 3 seperate times at the service desk. I know its available, as other Jewel and grocers carry it. Not once, did I receive a call or get a response concerning my request. I also emailed the Jewel corporate website with my concern about the situation and received no reply. I've been a loyal lifelong Jewel shopper and I am highly disappointed with the absence of a service response at the Palos location and from corporate headquarters. However, Mary who works the front end is amazing. Very responsive to customer needs. She makes sure bagging is done correctly and is friendly , courteous and helpful.

Store stock varies over time. Produce sale items often are out or left with the rejects. Produce labeling often wrong or no price. This week Michigan blueberries were from Canada. Last week the sign read illinois blueberries, but they were from Michigan. (There are no Illinois blueberries to speak of). Nice stacking and displays though. Even a new digital scale in produce.

The team that works catering is Absolutely fantastic. I had a date change and the time change and it was no sweat whatsoever to fix. The food was delicious, pick up was easy, the way they package the food was fantastic. I have nothing but amazing things to say! Shout out to Ellen for being so fantastic!
