I am so happy with the care my babies received at Pete and Mac’s. They even each got a bath before coming home. I will definitely utilize this facility in the future. I was so worried initially but now? I’m very comfortable and know my babies are safe and taken care of. Thanks to all the great staff for dealing with my calls and being kind.

We are really happy with Pete & Mac's for our dog! I think they do a nice job keeping the dogs safe but allowing them to get a full day of playtime! It also seems clean and staff is friendly!

Grooming is heavily represented on their website so I called to see if I could get my dog in for a nail trim, said they didn’t have anyone TODAY. Tried to call around to a couple other places but no luck, called Pete & Mac’s back to see if I can try to get in for early tomorrow morning (since on my first call they specified and said TODAY), and the phone receptionist kinda scoffed and passive aggressively explained they don’t have a groomer, except on a special Tuesday for the daycare dogs. Totally fine— but I don’t work there so don’t be a brat about having to explain how you don’t have a groomer when grooming is very* represented on your website. Thanks!

Our dog goes crazy if we say "Doggy Daycare?" He can't wait to see his freinds and run & play. He gets lots of playtime in the morning and afternoon, he has his own good sized pen to hang out in, rest and eat when he's in his down times. They take great care of him. It's super clean and the staff seems to really love the dogs they care for...they know our dog well and that he loves snuggles. He comes home happy, clean and wiped out. :) We checked out a lot of places in Palatine and this one was a step or two, above the rest.

This was the first time I have ever had to board my dog at a facility and I will admit that I was pretty nervous bringing my dog here. She does not do well with other dogs so I was very happy to see they have options for dogs like my own, as well as 24/7 supervision in the building (most boarding places do not do this). I cannot stress enough how incredibly happy I am that I brought my dog here! She was perfectly fine going to boarding area when we said our goodbye (didn't even look back), and was her normal happy self when I picked her up. She showed no signs of stress when she got home. The staff was even kind enough to call me the next day to check and make sure my girl settled in at home fine. I highly recommend this place if you have a dog who isn't dog friendly, they will be in good hands!Harli-Quinn and I are both looking forward to the day we come back.

Pete and Mac’s is such and awesome place to take your fur baby’s .I have two that go five days a week and they treat them like family all the staff is so caring.they are always willing to help honestly they helped me out of a very difficult situation and through it all I always new my baby’s couldn’t be in a better place . I read a review from someone who gave them 1 Star I believe they should get ten out of ten I tell everyone to take your fur baby’s to Pete and Mac’s you won’t regret it I love them ❤️

They take such good care of our dog. We use to do day care but stopped because I changed jobs and it’s pretty far from us, but we still take our dog there for boarding.

We have been taking our dog here for two years. I felt I had little choice but I needed to address Management unprofessional behavior. Kodi first of all never greets you, she never saids hello to me or others. Today I brought our dog a little after 6:00am. Kodi was at the front and as usual did not greet me. The first think she saids is that We open at 6:30am, I am counting money. She was displeased that I came in 30 minutes early. I asked if there were other staff that can take him back. She said the night staff is getting ready to leave. I stood did not say a word. She finally drops what she was doing and grabs my dog and saids, you need to get my approval next time to bring him. She was rude, angry and totally unprofessional. I did not know that the I could not bring him until 6:30am. I had an early meeting. She did not have to treat me with anger and rudeness. I can guarantee you that she is no asset and a huge liability to this operation. I have never been so disrespected and treated rudely there other than her. The rest of the staff always say hello. She has to go!!!!

My husband and I boarded our chihuahua/terrior Baldur here for the weekend. He is a very anxious dog and struggles with seperation anxiety. We took him home and he has had no changes in his behavior! We have boarded him at other places and it took a while for him to return to his normal goofy self. The staff is very nice, caring and it was clear they everything they could to make sure our boy was well taken care of and their little buddy while he was there. Highly recomend!

Bring my dog here all the time and he seems to love it. He's temperamental and hasn't been able to stay at other daycares because he tries to be alpha with bigger dogs and somehow Pete and macs gets him to focus on playing and not being aggressive or upsetting other dogs.

I was just walking past the back. I hear a dog barking so I peep through the fence one dog shivering in the cold pacing back and forth and another dog barking for hours straight already very stressed. Looks like they just toss your dogs in a cage outside in the back and forget about em wouldn’t take my dog here

We bring our dog to Pete and Mac's for daycare and boarding. The staff seems excited to see our pup when we come in, and they seem to really genuinely care about the animals. They also do little crafts and special things for holidays. The only con (and the reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5) is because they do not have cameras for you to watch. If they added that, it would be amazing! They also don't discriminate AT ALL with breeds, which is a HUGE plus in my book.

Left our pups at Pete and Mac’s for 8 days they were so exhausted when they got home and had so much fun over there! The staff is very polite and extremely nice! Will continue to come back and drop off our dogs for all our boarding needs.

We love this place. We have a fairly dog reactive rescue dog, and other places could not ensure proper care. Our pup Annie receives attention and love everytime. She cannot play with other dogs during daycare, so Pete and Macs gives her special attention. Annie always comes back pooped. Cody is her favorite friend! This place is great for our dog.

This place is amazing! Every time I walk in with my dog, they call her by name (and we only visit 2-3 times a year). My dog always comes home exhausted from playing and happy to go back.

We have used 48 days out of 100 day package we have purchased. We have decided to switch to a different provider and forfeit the remainder of the package.Pros:This is the best deal available on the market today, $800 for 100 passes, $8 a day vs $30 at the other place.Cons:1. The place is dirty, you can smell it when you walk through the front door.2. The staff is unprofessional: dirty/ripped uniforms, we have overheard one of the staff members yelling at dogs using vulgar language.3. On multiple occasions we picked up our animal smelling like a dump, they claimed it's due to artificial grass they use in the yard.4. We suspect they keep animals locked up for a much longer period of time than they supposed to.5. There are no cameras, no idea what's happening inside, impossible to hold them accountable for anything.Finally, both my wife and I felt it wasn't safe taking our dog to this place anymore.

They held their YAPPY HOUR to benefit the Buddy Foundation, shelter in Arlington Heights, Il. The staff went out of their way to make it fun for all, games, food,raffles. The patrons who picked up their happy dogs loved it as well. Best place for boarding, day care. Also a great idea for dogs that have separation anxiety which helps their dog overcome their fear and allows their companion to have free time. Patty Fraser

My dog pulls to get to the door faster when we get there and wags her tail SO SO SO much when she sees her caretakers. The workers are so sweet and accommodating always and I feel like my dog will be well taken care of.

One of the employees is so, so rude it’s unbelievable. Genuinely, she acts like she hates dogs—and people. If you can afford to go anywhere else, I’d recommend that you do.

Didn’t even house my dog here but I never will. I was giving clothing donations behind the church and overheard an employee screaming at the dogs to shut up because they were barking. She did it multiple times.

I was so relieved to have my pooch there over the 4th. She hates fireworks and after running with the other dogs all day she slept thru them. They even have an attendant at night. They give them a bath as well.
