Myself and my friend went to the Kroger North Store everyone that we spoke to were extremely helpful. We had problems with our telephones and they helped us get the digital coupons on our phones. THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL THE HELP, YOU ARE GREAT.

The service desk told everyone to come back in 20 minutes they were too busy. Long wait for assistance finding products. Not for a quick shopping trip. If you have time to waste, this is your place.

Great selection, but an employee was super rude. I was looking at the meat when an employee was waiting for me to move, so I gladly moved out of his way. When I walked away, I could hear him cursing under his breath about me. I guess at least do it when I can't hear you?

Slowest workers in town, completely unhelpful, don’t train anybody on money services and the employees lie about time frames regarding services. Avoid to save yourself stress, annoyance, and a headache. Be sure to check the dates on food as well cause they love keeping expired items in coolers.

I went to the Ottawa store off I-80I have mixed feelings. It's kind of expensive, like Jewel prices, with Walmart quality products. (that is not good) There really wasn't a great selection of frozen items except pizza. What I did like is that as a single person, there were quite a few options to buy smaller packages of foods, i.e., premade meatballs. I don't need huge packages taking up space in my freezer and fridge. And compared to the cost of full size products, the smaller packages were equitable in price. This store was a little dark and dingey. Felt slightly dirty but overall an OK shopping experience

Most employees are friendly, but it takes a lot longer to shop when I have to check every date and dig to the back to get items in the meat and deli dept that aren’t 2+ days expired. Living out of town, it’s a real pain to have to turn around and return something that I won’t feed to my family when I’m in a rush and don’t check dates

Always a great selection of produce and new products. The pricing is always reasonable and the service has been amazing, friendly and fast. The hours of operation are convenient and helpful. I enjoy shopping here everytime I stop in. I drive out of my specifically to shop at this store.

Stopped by to pick up some fresh fish and only species defrosted was salmon. Decided to pick up the fresh chicken breast which was a buy one get one deal. The store overall is what you would expect from a large grocery market chain. The store was clean and the staff was helpful while shopping and during checkout.

We used to have a Kroger in Rockford it was called Highlanders a very nice place but sadly Schnucks took over and then Highlanders is gone I want my Highlanders back everything was like $10 for 10 and that was a good deal I must say I hope they have some shark fruit snacks at this Kroger because I do miss the one in Rockford yep it was originally called Highlanders I had my childhood at that store but it still alive in my dreams

Better options and prices on some items compared to Hy-Vee in Peru. You can tell it is a little dated but it's still a clean store.Edit: They still do not take any mobile pay options.

I have 2 broken ankles, I called kroger and asked if they had motorized carts and they brought it all the way out to my car for me! Then inside I needed a cake written on and the employee Diana did a beautiful job for my mother's birthday cake, but was so kind and helpful. Excellant experience!

There are some great people hear. The ones I’m complaining about are in the meat section. There is one lady there long dark hair with glasses that is extremely rude. I will take my business to Handys and Walmart as my money is good everywhere.

I worked here for a while, but the workers are always friendly, and ready to help you, and if they can't get something they will make it right however they can! Large variety of products and good prices to choose from!

Google says tell others why you hate this place, well I hate this place because of google. The high prices and the people I can put up with, but not this google thing. I hate going places and then having this icon on my phone telling me to rate this place. I try my best to never spend my money in a place that would advertise on google to get my review. I want to go in, get what I want and leave, and if I spend a little extra money so be it. But to spend more money and then get harassed by my phone. I would rather spend my money elsewhere.

I really do like shopping at Kroger. I especially like that they have a fairly good selection of Organic products. My main complaint is that they don't carry quite a few of the the regular products that I prefer, so I have to get them at Walmart. Also, the products they do carry, which I buy often, they run out of them quickly, because they don't stock enough of them.

First off, I'm not too impressed with Kroger stores as a whole. With one exception, the Kroger in Streator. It truly is a cut above the rest.This store, people were friendly and helpful. Items on the shelves is limited on selection and quality. Abandoned carts all over the parking lot.It was an okay store.

The deli and bakery are severely short staffed. If you are looking for work Kroger is always hiring. So help out the community and apply now. Otherwise Kroger is my favorite store.

I had a great experience at Kroger, had ordered family style chicken, great dinner. I also got some help from a manager to find waffle cones, for ice cream, the manager was really nice and helpful, great employees they were really nice !!

Kroger is my usual shop stop. It's easy to navigate and has good quality foods. And I'm always on the look out for managers special. The employees are generally helpful and friendly.

I like Kroger unfortunately there isn't one near home so whenever I'm in Ottawa I stop in.You do need a Kroger key fob to get the best prices but they're free & do not require registration. Grocery wise beats WalMart.

A huge shout-out to the staff at Kroger North. In particular I want to thank team member Alexa at self check. My teen aged nephew drove by himself to Ottawa from Oswego yesterday, and realized after making it to Ottawa that he didnt know how to get to our house AND had forgotten his phone at home. He stopped at Kroger knowing it would be safe, and asked Alexa for help. Using her personal phone, she got directions for him and he arrived safely. Thank you Alexa!

The new deeper carts. At 5'2 I have to stand one toes to get items out. Also, due back injury and surgery, in constant pain, leaning into the cart creates a pull on my back that will increase pain. Please for the sake of your customers, return to the other carts.
