Our pup had a check up that went well. The nurse was attentive to our pup during the exam and the doctor explained things and was gentle with him. We also had a grooming that went pretty well for the first time. Our dog was so soft and fluffy when done. The staff was friendly and helpful all round. A bunch of thank you for everything.

The staff here was very caring, compassionate and sympathetic. The vet clinic we normally take our pets to was not opened at 4pm on a Tuesday (probably due to the weather) nor taking emergency calls and referred us to call the pet hospital in Aurora. The weather was bad and I couldnt stand to see my poor baby girl suffer due to medical issue that couldn't be cured and she was declining fast, I called to ask if they could put her down. Althought it was almost closing time they agreed to wait for us to get there and provide the service with compassion and sympathy. I am extremely greatful for them and will be bringing my future pets here.

We took our cat,Smokey, yesterday because he had lost a tooth. Worried about infection, Kathy Stoffel, gave antibiotics. GENTLE & KIND 😻❤️No judgements,respectful. We had such a horrible experience with another vet in town. This was beautiful! Thank you! We may be bringing our other cat in.

So thankful for Fox Valley! They have an amazing staff and wonderful vets. One of my cats had an emergency a week and a half ago and they squeezed him in right away, kept him overnight, and took wonderful care of him. They called with updates both days to let me know how he was doing and were so kind during the process. He’s doing so much better now and it’s all thanks to their incredible team!

Our dog gets nails clipped and shots here. Reasonable, friendly. We have used their services for about 4 years with no issue. Our cat got fixed and shots, no issues.

After having a bad experience at another vet in town many years ago, we switched to Fox Valley Vet and have never gone back. The vets and their assistants have always treated our animals lovingly. They know and remember both of our pets' names and personalities. They've helped us with spaying/neutering, ear infections, and diabetes. We trust them. They had to put down my dog in April, and they did so lovingly and sensitively. They sent us a card afterwards too. We wouldn't have wanted to do it anywhere else.

If you want a Vet clinic that cares about your pet, go somewhere else. I wish I knew her name but the lady on the phone might be the rudest person we’ve ever encountered. Gone here for years but when you need them the most they won’t do anything and they do not care one bit. Would never recommend them to anyone.

We only just began taking our two puppies here and enjoyed the services the first couple of times. However, we recently had another appointment with them and it was horrible. They muzzled my puppy (he is not a barker or a bitter) after he sniffed the lady‘s hand. She claimed he „went after her“. You’d think that working at a veterinary hospital that you’d know dogs sniff people they don’t know. My dog was extremely terrified by these people. He was shaking uncontrollably and even peed himself after they muzzled him. It was just awful since they’ve already checked these two pups before and they knew that they were not aggressive at all. Then they muzzled my next dog who was barking but only because he was terrified. He has never bitten anyone and warms up to people quickly when given the chance. They didn’t even check him out or anything. Our recent experience here was disgusting and brought our family to tears. When we took my puppies home, they were so afraid.

The staff was very friendly friendly explained all of the procedure to putting my dog down He had cancer and it was time to let him go after 12 years the staff even sent me a sympathy card and everybody Signed it.

Had an amazing experience with the vet very friendly and helped me with any concerns with my dog and kitten. The grooming im a little disappointing about. They did a fantastic job with my dog with her fur and everything else. They require you to drop your dog off at 8AM, and my dog wasn't ready till 1215 and keep them in a cage. I'd rather not have my dog in a kennel for hours and just do a timed appointment.

Our dog is getting older and is 17 she has been having multiple seizures a day and we took her here to have her put down and they refused to do it saying "it wasn't her time" and they still charged us just for seeing her and just gave her some antibiotics for what we don't know I would recommend anacare in LaSalle Peru don't even waste your time I would give 0 stars if I could

What was once a fantastic, helpful, kind, and loving experience for my pets has turned sour.Most calls go unanswered or kept on hold and forgotten.Phone conversations are rude and rushed.Being short staffed is no excuse for poor service.I have heard, on more than one occasion, the staff bad mouthing patients. Once while placing one on hold while I was paying for my service.Another instance was when I had called to get a prescription refilled and they refused to let me speak to the vet to ask for clarification. Instead, insisting I was wrong (which I truthful was) but not allowing me to ask why or explain professionally what was the correct answer. I was labeled difficult and dismissed.Knowing one of the vets there was the only saving grace until that no longer was enough for me.I do honestly hope things improve and the manner in which customer interactions are handled, both in person and around others, drastically improves.

Don't expect any service when your pet gets sick. Even when you're an established patient you can't get in to see a vet in a timely manner. I recommend going the Yorkville Animal Hospital.

I had an emergency with my kitten and they took us right away. I called 2 other vets before them and was told I needed an appointment for an emergency. Everyone at Ancare is absolutely amazing!!! The 2 vets it called are closer, I will never take them there. I will drive 30 mins to the best vets around. A big thank you to Dr. Wallace and Dr. Webb. You're both amazing!!!!

This review is for the grooming service. My 20-something pound doodle was shaved down a month and half before at this exact place. Her hair had grown out to less than a quarter inch of curls. When I dropped her off, I told the girl that I was here for my dog's tail and nails (there was a pom pom at the end of her tail which was matting). I returned two hours later to a COMPLTELY SHAVED DOWN DOG, AGAIN. 1) It's the middle of winter. 2) She was not matted. 3) They had records that she was shaved less than 5 weeks ago there. I am FURIOUS that they did not call me to clarify instructions and that no one there had the common sense to advocate not shaving down a non-matted dog just because they didn't know what else to do. Shame on both the vet and the groomer. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I was refunded full "credit" for the groom to apply to a later service, but that's useless because I, personally, won't be returning here with my dog.

I absolutely love this vet. Ive had some bad experiences and everyone that works hear is amazing and love animals. I take all 3 of my dogs and they dont charge extreamly high for any thing. My oldest had to have emergency surgery because 1 of her ovaries got infected and i was able to afford treatment. They are always super pleasant and so so helpful.

Dr. Clayton is very knowledgeable and personable. He took great care of my dog and everything was done in my presence which gave me a lot of reassurance my dog was being treated well. Staff was friendly and appointments were timely.

Dr. Clayton is the best Vet we've ever used. He's knowledgeable, caring and great with pets. His staff is very pleasant and caring too. Any other Vet we've seen at his office is the same.I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!!!
