Love Big Creek Custom and they definitely were more than willing to help me with an event that I was wanting to attend. I have paid with PayPal many times for many different things without incident, so I am not new to this. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend but knew far enough in advance to cancel. When I received my first request to pay through PayPal, I knew that was the price that I was quoted but shortly after I received the first request I received a second request with the additional $4.00 fee added to my total. They had added the fee that is supposed to be absorbed by the dealer selling the product as stated in the PayPal rules, When I quoted the rules to them via Messenger, I was told that they have always passed that on to the customer. It was an unfortunate situation and $4.00 was not going to break me but it was the fact that this was not stated upfront and it was a very unprofessional way to handle such a situation. I have managed businesses and I would never had made a "situation" with a client that who was bringing at least 3 other people with me. They have a beautiful business but did not appreciate the lack of respect.The following is the exchange that took place, over $4.00. Just very unprofessional.Me:FYI: For future reference.When completing a transaction through PayPal, the seller must pay a PayPal fee. The buyer isn't forced to pay any fee.
